Perfection
Each year for 25 years we've managed to leave the cold and relax somewhere in the warmth and sun. This year,2020, we were able to linger a while longer than the normal two weeks and relaxed for a month. A gamble booked ahead for there could be nothing worse than being stuck in a place one wished one was not in. This was paradisa and a listing that truly echoed what it promised and a month spent overlooking the calm waters, walking on the sand and bathing in the warm sea is exactly what we needed. There are so many opportunities to explore the many islands which tempt you with their golden sands and clear sea or just lounge in the villa by the pool. The home is superbly located and fully equiped, a home away from home. A 4 wheel drive is needed to navigate some of the rougher trails and trips to David to stock up on goodies is recommended but the day to day needs can be had nearby. We hate to praise this Villa so much for by doing so we might miss out on rebooking which we very much would like too, a place to return. On top of all this are the owners who turned out to be the best hosts .and now friend that anyone could wish for who were always available to guide us and advise us when needed but never interrupting our privet space.All in all one of the best places we've found on our travels around the globe and true value.

Paradisíaco!!
Estuvimos de visita en Sand Dollar Villa, una casa ubicada en el mejor condominio de Boca Chica, Lobster Cove.
La vista es magnífica y la bajada a la playa es directa.
Las habitaciones son amplias y con buenos baños.
La cocina está muy bien equipada.
La piscina es grande y techada lo cual es refrescante para los días de mucho calor.
Los anfitriones están siempre atentos a los requerimientos de los huéspedes.
Nos encantó la visita porque es un lugar espléndido para pasar unos días de descanso.

Recharging Break
My husband, my two children and me stayed at the beautiful Sand Dollar Villa for week. The house is just as beautiful as you can see in the pictures! Roads are good condition all the way to the front door. Not only is the house in an incredible location - completely safe, amazing views, steps away from a wonderful beach, but the orientation could not be more perfect. Due to its high celings and french doors with screens the house always had wonderful air circulation bringing the most relaxing sea breeze and keeping the house at a nice temperature. No matter where you are in the house (even doing the dishes) you were treated to astounding views. Going to sleep, sitting in the terrace or in the pool you could simply let all your troubles be taken away by the ocean's song. The beach might as well have been private - and the water was warm and extremely calm.
Now let's talk about the other huge advantage of this gorgeous villa: the hosts! Eda and Rafo have a gardner and a cleaning lady that keep the house and the grounds impecable at all times and these people are attentive and incredibly hones. Also they provided great recommendations for nearby activities.
We were there for a went back to the office/school fully recharged. We will definitely be visiting again.

Relaxing beautiful home with exclusive breathtaking views of Lobster Cove, Boca Chica, Panama
This home is located on a hill and provides a breathtaking view of Lobster Cove, Boca Chica, Panama. It is about 5 miles from Boca Chica (where you can take water taxis to other nearby islands for snorkeling or nearly private beaches). An SUV is recommended for travel in this area. David is a little less than an hour away, and Boquete is a beautiful town to visit. There is an easy walk down to the beach, and the water is usually nice and warm, like bathwater. It feels great to soak/swim each day and it is very relaxing with very few people about 1/4 mile away. It is like having a private cove that extends for miles. The water is warmer in front of this house than it is about 1/4 mile away. When the tide is in, the water comes right up to the edge of the beach. When the tide is out, you can walk out for 200 meters and still be just hip deep in the water. It is very quiet and feels so good to go swimming. The home is modern and clean, like an executive's home. If you see a small fishing boat come in towards the early evening, be sure to walk out to them to see if you can purchase fish and/or lobster, or to order some for the next day. The fishing boat is a small boat, which you may see about 1/4 of a mile to the right as you look at the water. This is a very relaxing and secure place to stay. Tips: When driving on the highway, the speed limit frequently changes from 80 km (or 100 km) per hour to 60 km per hour (at each retorno). Be careful to reduce your speed to avoid getting a speeding ticket. Also, use the Waze app on your phone to get a heads up when the Policia are coming up. Enjoy!

Peaceful Paradise
We had a wonderful 1 week stay here. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ocean views/sunsets spectacular. This house is spacious and has all the amenities you could want. We cooked almost all our meals there and it was fully equipped. The beds are super comfortable and I loved waking up to the sound of howler monkeys in the distance. There is an easy trail down to the sand from the house to that warm tropical water and I highly recommend an adventure down there after dark for the bioluminescence! Also the protected patio with pool and view was a great place for a yoga practice or meditation, or to cool off and just float around on a raft with a glass of wine. You can catch an inexpensive water taxi at Boca Chica to some great beaches for snorkeling with few to no other people. Boquete is great to visit on Tuesdays for their market and stocking up on local fruits and veggies and crafts. There is also great hiking in this area and the best coffee at Finca Lerida. I highly recommend renting a 4 wheel drive to get around and stop and pick up groceries on your way from the airport. This is the place to go to really get away from it all and relax.

Amazing place with stunning unobstructed panoramic views over the ocean
We spend an amazing week with friends at Sand Dollar Villa.
The villa has everything you could wish for. Stunning unobstructed panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Beach is amazingly safe, clean and fun to watch high and low tide.The howler monkeys and birds as our wake-up call. Kitchen has everything you need.
The owner is very attentive and helpful even arranged fresh fish and a boat trip to beautiful islands for us with a local fisherman. The house has plenty options to enjoy sun or shade. Stock up on groceries and fresh fruit in David before you come to the villa is a good idea. For a dinner night out we went to Bocas del Mar short drive amazing food and they arrange day trips as well. Other fun activities are in Boquete.
We would highly recommend this villa.

UN LUGAR DE ENSUEÑO
Viajé con mi familia y nuestra mejor elección fue quedarnos en Sand Dollar Villas en Boca Chica. La ubicación es inmejorable, con un vista panorámica al mar espectacular !! La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y tienen una súper vista al mar, la cocina es amplia y bien equipada, la lavandería nos fue muy útil y disfrutamos mucho del kayak y de la parrilla. Tiene una piscina hermosa desde donde nos deleitábamos cada tarde con los atardeceres más bellos. Está a un paso de la playa lo que nos permitió disfrutarla al máximo tanto de día como de noche. Como broche de oro, recibimos la visita de los monos aulladores de muy cerca el último día. Fueron unas vacaciones inolvidables para todos en el mejor lugar de Boca Chica.

Hermoso lugar
La casa es espectacular, ubicada a solo pasos de la playa. Muy limpio y ordenado, la atención es excelente. La playa de la casa es muy bonita y muy cerca de aquí hay un muelle donde se puede viajar en bote a playas hermosas y en el camino se ven delfines y ballenas. Una experiencia inolvidable! 100% recomendado, espero volver pronto.

Perfect
We stayed and Sand Dollar Villas for only a few nights. It was easily the best place we stayed while touring Panama. The view from the house is off the charts incredible. The house had everything and everything worked great. The walk to the warm Pacific Ocean was 48 seconds from the kitchen refrigerator. One of the 3 nights had phosphoresence in the bay. Truly incredible to swim in warm glowing water under a bright night sky. We went snorkelling at Islas Secas and Offshore fishing. Unforgettable. Thank you Raphael for making it so easy.
