We first visited Las chorreras three years ago and lived it so much that we booked to return the following year. Sadly, covid got in the way for the next 2 years and prevented us from coming back. However, this year, FINALLY (!!!) we managed to return, and it was absolutely worth the wait. We visited as a group of ten, 6 adults, 2 teens and 2 eight year old. There is plenty space for everyone. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and good sized. The house is rustic and beautiful. The grounds are breathtaking. The setting is rural, peaceful, quiet and just perfect. The owner is so friendly and helpful, he clearly takes great pride in maintaining his house beautifully. He came every 2 days to clean the pool, he treated us to fresh vegetables picked from his garden. He took the time to chat with us, and he remembered us from our previous visit. If you're looking for somewhere rustic and rural and where you can find perfect tranquility, this is it. You'll for certain need a hire car, but you're only about 10 minutes drive from Illora which has a supermarket, butcher, shops, doctor, pharmacy, etc. All the essentials. Would absolutely recommend. We'll be returning next year.

We booked this house as a group of 9. Four adults and 5 kids (aged 5, 5, 13, 15 & 16). No issues at all with booking or payment. The owner was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had very quickly. He met us in the town of illora and took us to the villa, roughly a 10 minute drive. A car is absolutely essential as the house is very rural and set beautifully into the mountains. It is surrounded by forest and is absolutely stunning. During our stay we saw a lot of wildlife, including wild boar (which we steered clear of!) foxes, rabbits, squirrels, mice and birds. The owner and his family were very welcoming and friendly. He clearly took a lot of pride in the house, which is well equipped and well maintained. It is very rustic and charming. Halfway through our 2 week stay we were provided with new towels and bed linens, and he came at least 2/3 times per week to clean and maintain the pool and garden. He was very happy to help give us suggestions about local places to visit and would always send us locations of anything we asked for, for example, a local pharmacy. The peace and quiet of the villa were perfect. The area gets sun all day long and the pool was lovely and refreshing. There's a great bbq outside which we used most days. There are 2 big fridge freezers so no lack of space. The bedrooms were spacious, all with working air con, and clean. The beds were comfortable. 3 bathrooms (one a combined bathroom/laundry room). Showers were good, good pressure, nice and hot. There is a swingset in the garden and a little stone building that the kids found made a great den for 'nerf wars'. We loved every minute of our stay here. The place is beautiful and tranquil and an absolute haven. You don't need to worry about being too noisy for the neighbours (fortunate for us) and we would most definitely recommend this place. We hope to return at some point.

Had an amazing time at this villa. We booked two weeks here with a group of 9 (four adults and five children), the owner (Javier) made our group very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, we met him at a supermarket in Illora and followed him to the location of the villa (roughly around 5km/3miles). Once there Javier (and members of his family) gave us a tour of the villa, which looked really homely and comfortable, very clean. Nothing was too much trouble and he took the time to answer any questions and he made us feel REALLY welcome. The kitchen had plenty of plates, cutlery, pots and pans.. the only thing that was missing was a kettle to boil water, but we managed by boiling water in a pan, we didnt mind as we loved staying at the villa. The bedrooms were clean and tidy and had an air conditioner in each room. The aircon leaked in our room one night, we contacted Javier via whatsapp chat and he came the next day to check it out and sort for us. We had an amazing time at the villa and would recommend it to anyone. The sunsets from the villa are breathtaking, as are the views surrounding the villa. It is really quiet and peaceful which makes relaxing with a few drinks and making food on the BBQ heavenly, we all loved it so much. The villa also had a pool which was of a decent size and the kids loved playing in it most days, Javier came a couple of times during our stay to clean the pool out (he also gave us fresh linen to change our beds and took the old away). Luckily the weather was VERY warm which made the pool water warm, but some days it was a little cold but you got use to it after being in the water a little while. We managed to stock up on food/drinks at the supermarket in Illora we you can get most of the basic stuff you need. We did go to Lidl, which is about a 35min drive to do a "big shop" and stock up on food and drinks etc. The villa has two quite large fridge/freezers so we had plenty of room to store all our shopping. On the wole we had an amazing time and cannot wait to go back to the villa for another stay, we were really thankful to Javier (and his family) for making us really welcome and making our holiday stay at the villa really enjoyable.

The villa is absolutely stunning! It’s rustic and well equipped. It is so quiet and peaceful with nothing around for miles. This means that the mountain and forest views are unspoiled and just an amazing background for such a lovely villa. The homeowner and his family were very nice people and took great care of us while we were there. They change the linen once a week and come to clean the pool regularly. We had a slight issue with the air conditioning but the owner was out to fix it within half an hour. Every time they came, they were chatty and pleasant, they could not have been any nicer!

Pasamos unos días en la casa de Las Chorreras con unos amigos y acertamos de lleno! El trato fue increíble, los dueños son muy atentos y ponen facilidades para todo. Además tiene todos los servicios que te puedas imaginar piscina climatizada, sábanas, toallas, cocina totalmente equipada, calefacción, aire acondicionado y hasta WiFi o Movistar +! El entorno es fabuloso, seguro que volveremos! Pd: la piscina climatizada es obligatorio probarla, una pasada 😍

Pasé este fin de semana con un grupo de amigos una estancia en las chorreras e hicimos uso de la piscina climatizada, lo cual recomiendo encarecidamente. Limpieza y trato de 10. Casa acogedora y muy bonita. El entorno es propicio para dar paseos y hacer senderismo.

Esta casa rural es muy bonita, la calidad es alta y el precio está muy bien para los servicios que ofrece. La zona es verdaderamente preciosa y está muy bien comunicada. La piscina es una maravilla, y en el interior de la casa la distribución es muy buena. Volveré a ir sin duda!!
