We stayed two nights and had to leave because of oncoming storms!! The cons first.. make sure it take a print of the terms as you may discover there is a cleaning charge when the property is first advertised. Despite paying for 'deep cleaning' the place was not clean. Pet fur was everywhere and we had to vaccum and clean as we had children and a baby with us. The dishwasher was not working effectively. The clothes dryer did not work. The master bedroom is draughty. Must be wonderful in summer! The heating system needs to be looked at. The Pros. Beautiful location and you are at the sea. You feel you are on a cruise!! It is well appointed and all the facilities are there. The bedrooms are well furnished. The property is well laid out. Four adults and 3 children and we did not feel cramped. Lovely walks are at your doorstep. Sainsbury and other eating places are round the corner. Excellen fish and chips is near by too. Brighton is also a short drive away. The parking faciltiy for the property is great. Two cars easily slot in. The owner did respond when we messaged. Except very inflexible. Subject to the Cons we would recommend it.

The house is situated right on the cliff top with wonderful sea views from most windows. It is very well equipped and the owner Yvonne left various things in the kitchen such as dishwasher tablets and bin bags things that you always forget. Yvonne was very good at replying to all my emails quickly and let us know when the house was ready. It is in an ideal position for catching the bus into Brighton or Eastbourne. We also went into Rottingdean which is a lovely little village, a bit further afield is Rye which is well worth a visit. Thankyou Yvonne for the use of your lovely house we thoroughly enjoyed it.

None of my family had experienced living by the sea and this is my home territory. The location was perfect for incredible ocean views and searching through the rock pools when the tide was out. It is also close to many other attractions. The house was is spacious and comfortable with a French window to view the sea from the dining room. A well-equipped kitchen, living room and 3 nice bedrooms. There was very good communications with the owner who was very welcoming.

En realidad es incluso mejor que lo que se anuncia. La casa es genial, grande, con todas las comodidades. La ubicación es insuperable. Primera línea de acantilado frente al mar y a 2 min caminando de la parada de bus que te lleva a Brighton. Trato fácil con el propietario. Hemos pasado una semana inolvidable. Altamente recomendable para familias!!

The owner was most helpful with booking correspondence and details regarding tthe property. The property was clean and very spacious with ample parking, situated on the cliff with unobstructed sea views. The property had good cooking/catering facilities for the family and was very comfortable. The property is located in Peacehaven with local amenities and pubs/restaurants a short walk away but just out of earshot and away from the noise of traffic. The location provides easy access to a pebble beach via a steep walking ramp a few yards away from the front gate. We really loved the location, being so close to the sea and having pubs and restaurants nearby. Brighton is a short drive/bus ride away with many attractions and shops. We had a truly wonderful week, despite the mixed weather, at Weatherall and would recommend this property to anyone! 👍😀

This is an impressively kitted out '30s bungalow (with an extra bedroom in the attic) nicely brought up to date in recent times. I wouldn't say it's luxurious, but it is comfortable, and the owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making it a congenial place for a family stay. Particular pluses include the fact that there is a lot of space, and the location is very quiet. There is also, of course, the spectacular sea view: if the council replaced the (rather tatty) fence across the road with a balustrade, you could persuade yourself you were in Sorrento rather than Peacehaven! (The town itself is rather an odd place, mainly consisting of '30s bungalows. It's not exactly a plus, but you don't really see it once you're in the house. And the drive to Brighton takes in some impressive coast.)

Sehr schön renoviertes Ferienhaus mit einmaliger Seesicht. Haus mit viel Charme und Charakter. Gute Kücheneinrichtung und mit separatem Raum mit Waschmaschine und Tumbler. Privater Parkplatz. Die ganze Liegenschaft ist Umzäunt und sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem ausgestattes was es für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Die wunderschöne Umgebung lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Angebot für Kinder und Hunde sehr zu empfehlen. Einmalige Lage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time at this cottage for two weeks. It is just a short run on the #12 bus to Brighton which runs every 7 minutes....The area is beautiful with fantastic views, plenty of green spaces for children, adults and animals...lovely walks....with plenty to see and do along the coast. The garden was perfect for a barbecue, suntan or a long warm nap!! The owners were very helpful and welcoming...we would highly recommend.

We had a great week at Weatherall Coastal Cottage. The photos don't do justice to its size. The rooms are very large and airy and most rooms have a full view of the sea. It is well appointed with every little detail thought of. It is great not to have to lug the contents of your kitchen with you when you go on holiday. It has all mod cons including a spacious utility room with a washer & dryer, dishwasher and wifi . It is well situated and if you don't feel like cooking there are many good restaurants and pubs nearby. The owners of this cottage were lovely and were very welcoming and helpful. We cannot recommend highly enough.

Overlooking the English Channel with fabulous views all around. We enjoyed days of sunshine which we didn't expect. Well equipped and a comfortable home from home. Plenty of coastal walks and open fields for our 2 small dogs they loved it. Nice garden to sit and admir the views eat/drink. Very friendly local people and walkers passing by. 20 min bus ride into Brighton just over £4 return and every 10 mins. 3 local pubs serving food and nice Thai restaurant which we would recommend. 5 min drive to local shopping centre for provisions. Good communication throughout the booking process. We would like to visit again sometime in the future and would recommend.
