It is located in the fashionable north London neighbourhood of Islington and forms part of an imposing corner building at the end of a row of Victorian townhouses. Although the home is at ground level, please note there are a number of steps leading up to the front door and internal steps down to the apartment itself. Close by is Islington’s vibrant Upper Street and Barnsbury's Arundel Square, a local landmark of public gardens with mature trees and beautiful flowers. The home has been newly-refurbished with stylish wooden flooring, a neutral colour palette and is flooded with natural light from its large windows. The master bedroom has dual-aspect windows making for a wonderfully light space, a king-size bed and wooden blinds. There is an abundance of hanging and drawer space for guests’ use. The large bathroom has a semi-circular bathtub, overhead shower and plenty of storage space. The communal courtyard garden is accessed via a gate to the side of the main entrance. The property is a perfect base for two people who wish to explore this vibrant area as well as being close to the city. The Location This property is located in the Barnsbury area of Islington. It has superb access to the transport at Highbury and Islington station (National Rail, Victoria Line and London Overground). Caledonian Road & Barnsbury overground are also nearby and Kings Cross & St Pancras Stations are around 1.2 miles away. There are a number of bus routes into central London. Islington’s buzzing Upper Street with its cafe culture, nightlife and boutique stores is only a short walk away. The famous Almeida Theatre, The London Canal Museum and The Charterhouse Heritage Museum are great local attractions as are the many parks and canal trips nearby. The celebrated gastropubs the Duchess of Kent, the Albion and the Drapers Arms can be found locally within Barnsbury. Supermarkets Waitrose, Sainsbury's & Tesco are all located nearby. This enables us to provide you with a more personal service and offers an extra level of security for both our guests and our homes. Our standard check in time is 16:00 - 20:00.
