Having lived in London years ago, we know it well and which is why we chose St Katherine Docks to stay in as it's such a lovely location.
The apartment had everything we needed and it was great having Waitrose literally over the road. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Tower Hill tube and you can reach Tower Bridge by foot in about 5-10 minutes.
The views from the lounge/dining room and on the balcony were fantastic and very quiet - we didn't hear a thing during the night.
Communication with David was seamless from the time we booked right until we accessed the apartment.
Water pressure in the shower is fab too :)

Tout à côté de la Tour de Londres!
Ma cousine et moi avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet appartement si bien situé. Il fait bon relaxer après une longue journée à visiter Londres, sur un balcon donnant sur une Marina remplie de yachts et gros voiliers, toujours très tranquille, propre et calme. De bons cafés, pub et restaurants sont à proximité, l'épicerie Waitrose littéralement à 1 minute, ce qui permet de prendre l'essentiel pour le petit déjeuner. La station de l'Underground est à 10-15 minutes à pied et il est possible de se rendre à Heathrow de cette façon aussi sans avoir à monter ou descendre une marche avec les valises!
L'appartement est vaste et il contient toutes les facilités nécessaires. David, le propriétaire, est facilement rejoignable par courriel et répond dans les minutes suivantes. Ses instructions pour l'arrivée et le départ sont claires. J'y retournerais.

Lovely view, nice location
Check in was very easy and all the necessities were provided. The flat was a good size for a solo traveller, and would probably meet the needs of a couple with one or two children. Lovely view from the balcony. Wifi worked well but it did seem a little sluggish at times. It's a 15 minute walk to Tower Hill tube station and a rather nice walk at that. I also (Thanks Google maps) found bus services very convenient to get around many areas - not to mention the Docklands train services and the river boat services running from the nearby St Katherine and Tower hill piers. I found the location to be really good.
There are a variety of cafes and restaurants in the area. Also a good size Waitrose (grocery store) just around the corner. The flat was equipped with everything should you want to prepare meals. There is a Saturday 'market' near the St. Katherine pier with a wide selection of delecious food.
The host was courteous and helpful and though I never sought any assistance after arrival I felt confident he'd address matters if anything arose.
Overall I'd recommend this flat to anyone seeking London accommodations.

Excellent Stay
Clean and tidy apartment with everything one needs for a stay in London. The location was excellent with the Marina and nearby restaurants an added advantage. The apartment was an easy walk to the Tube and many places you would visit in London. Excellent value and we were very pleased with our booking of this apartment

A home in the middle of a megacity - wowwww
Homely apartment, very clean and functional, very bright and enough room to stretch tired legs after doing London; above all surprising neighbourhoods, skyscrapers mixing with turn-of-century buildings, amazing. No touristy neighbourhood but enough good places to eat and a marvellous Waitrose 1 minute away.
Will certainly be back now that we know our way around, the ducks wait for being fed in front of "our" home.

Nice apartment in charming surroundings
The apartment has everything one needs for a vacation, has sufficient storage space
to keep the rooms tidy, a balcony facing the marina, and a good Waitrose shop just
across the street, as well as several good restaurants within the area.

Peaceful in the heart of London
A lovely apartment, centrally located, but so quiet and peaceful. We stayed with our two teenage children, and it was the perfect base for our holiday in London. The apartment had everything we needed, was very warm and cosy, and the view was exactly as described. Beautiful! Some minor suggestions/comments: the pillows could do with renewing, and we found it tricky to find. Overall, wonderful!

I would rent this Cozy Apartment Again!
This apartment is warm and cozy! If you like a European feel and experience this is the place to rent. On the second floor with a great view of the marina. A grocery store called the Waitrose is right across the street with everything you need. A cute coffee shop is also across the street with great food. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Tower of London, close to the London bridge and many other sites to see. David the property manager was a great host. He gives you detailed information prior to your stay to make your arrival easy. Thanks David for the Great London stay experience.

A recommendation for view and comfort.
An excellent Waitrose supermarket just across the st. (although we had no idea where to find a bank or a pharmacy. A list of those in the flat would be helpful). Many good restaurants in the St. Kat Docks area. We loved the view of the marina, the Tower Bridge, the Shard, etc. both by day and night. Balcony a plus. Appreciated the light "Caribbean" decor, the washing machine and the amazing warming cupboard. Lighting was very good. The flat is dated, but clean. On the negative side: it is a 10-15 min. walk uphill to the tube and the light rail (OK for us, since we went to experience East London rather than the touristy areas of the west).
