We’ve stayed in accommodations like this in London over 15 times, and this is the best one yet, clean, fine bed, everything one could want or need, even tea and coffee, but most important is the great location, just 5 minute walk to Southwark tube station. We will be back.

What a great trip to London! We have done so much and still left not seeing enough. I guess that means we will have to come back. When we do this will be the place we come back to. It was easy to get to and the owner was wonderful. The place was clean and the amenities were great. It was perfect for my Husband, two young children and I. Southwark has really been an ideal location. The London bridge, Shakespeare's globe, Borough Market are all walking distance. For anything a little further the tube is less than a 10 min walk from where we stayed on Union street. There are also a variety of places to eat in the neighborhood; a shout to Carlo's Kithchen for breakfast, Union street Cafe hy Gordon Ramsey and Est. India. And MC & Son's pub. Autumn has been a beautiful time to visit. Not so many tourists, the fall colors are gorgeous and at least it's not snowing.

A real treasure find. It was a home from home with everything we could need to make our stay comfortable and a pleasure. All facilities within walking distance and the owner was very helpful with suggestions and handy tips. Would definitely come again and also recommend to friends.

Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati bene in questo confortevole appartamento vicino a tutto a Londra. Wifi velocissimo, cucina attrezzata, televisione moderna, pulito, a due passi da locali, supermercati e trasporti. Fantastico. Un pò scomodo il divano dove hanno dormito i miei due ragazzi. Spero di ripetere l'esperienza in futuro e lo consiglio. Grazie Janet.

Great location, close to shops, bars and restaurants, the centre of London and last but not least Borough Market. The accommodation was clean and kitted out with everything we needed for our stay. The tube station was nearby making it easy to reach all the areas we planned to visit.

We had a very good time staying at this place. Very close to all the amenities, cleaned and organised. We had a small problem getting the keys at the keyboard but Janet was available. Our kids called the place home and this was important for us.

Great for a week or more stay,handy to every thing,clean and modern.quite location so close to trendy cafes

We stayed here for three weeks over Dec/Jan 2016/7 (couple with 10-year old). The 1-bedroom apartment is well fitted out, with an excellent kitchen and good furniture throughout. Our son loved the fold-out sofa bed, and enjoyed setting it up each day. The apartment was a little snug for three people, but we managed fine. It would possibly be more suited for a couple or individual, especially for a longer stay. The bathroom (shower only) was compact, but lots of hot water and a really good shower was very welcoming after a long day of sightseeing! The bedroom is a good size, and has two wardrobes with plenty of storage space. My husband is a light sleeper, so as the bedroom is right on the street he sometimes struggled with street sounds. I am a bit of a heavier sleeper and didn't have many issues, though. There is a pub two doors down, however this was under renovation during our stay. There are (at least) 4 apartments in the building, this apartment is on the ground floor. While the trains run behind the building, it was barely audible, even when in the bathroom. This apartment has a small washing machine, which was very useful. The location is very good - only 5 minutes' walk from Southwark Station and 10-15 minutes from Waterloo Station. Most nights I took the tube into the city to see a show, and it was incredibly easy (get an Oyster card!). There are multiple Tesco and Sainsburys supermarkets within 2-10 minutes walk. The Borough Markets, local (good) shopping, London Eye, Globe Theatre, the Thames, The Old Vic, The Young Vic, BFI, National Theatre, Tate Modern, London Bridge and much more all within 10-20 minutes walk of the front door. Janet was responsive to emails and messages, even when we had a little trouble getting in initially (our fault), and provided fresh linen halfway through our stay. We would recommend to a couple or single person and would certainly consider returning here in future.
