The bungalow was excellent.Everything you could wish for a very comfortable stay.Kitchen well equipped, benefit of a Sun lounge,lovely views,and very comfortable beds.

Another lovely stay at Penrhyn. The cottage is very comfortable with everything we needed and more in a peaceful setting. Tom and Jane are very friendly and helpful.
It suits us perfectly for visiting family nearby so please don't stop. We will be back.

A real Home from Home!
We spent four nights in Penrhyn to see our granddaughter who lives in Nottingham. On arrival Tom welcomed us and we loved the accommodation as it was private and so homely. We especially loved the large kitchen as my granddaughter,s partner loves to cook. It is a perfect place to entertain and there is loads of space around the house and the views are fabulous. Tom the owner is friendly and informative and we enjoyed every moment in their comfortable bungalow. My granddaugjhter even said it reminded her of our home. A visit to The Lambley was really friendly and a bus ride for afternoon tea in Nottingham with cocktails was ace. We will certainly return. Thanks for a lovely break.

Bungalow was perfect for our one week stay and ideally located for visiting various Nat. Trust and Eng. Heritage sites. Bungalow was spacious and exceedingly well equipped and Tom provided useful recommendations on local pubs and restaurants.

Lovely, quiet retreat
We’ve just returned from a lovely 4 nights away. We used the bungalow as a base for a range of National Trust days out. The bungalow was very clean, had all of the amenities you’d want (and more). My only slight criticism was that the toilet kept refilling, throughout the night, which woke us a couple of times on the first night, but once we were used to it, we didn’t notice it! It was a lovely quiet place and a perfect location. We would recommend!

Excellent bungalow
Our 3rd stay at Penrhyn. A lovely home from home with beautiful countryside views. If you like peace & quiet Penrhyn is for you. Tom is the perfect host. Will definitely be visiting again.

Warm welcome
Lovely bungalow in a quiet spot in the village of Lambley. Perfectly situated for visiting my mother who lives in Lowdham.
Received a great welcome from Tom after a terrible journey from Cornwall in rain and too much traffic. Tom met us on arrival and opened the gate and door to the bungalow as he must have been looking out for us as we were a little late arriving.
This bungalow is like a home from home and we settled in really quickly.
2 pubs within walking distance make it ideal.
Couldn't fault it.

Fantastic
Love staying here it was home from home my two granddaughters had a great time we visited floralands farm with the farm animals the garden centre and blossoms cafe not to mention the gift shop also the Gedling country park the views were lovely and people friendly we will defiantly visit again x

The bungalow is in a beautiful quiet location cows at the end off the road. inside
was clean had everything you would need to enjoy a family holiday .
The beds were the best we have slept in and i wanted to take mine home
with me .
We would definitely stay again when in the area
