Lovely apartment all you need under the one roof. Met Michael's wife with keys. Weather was lovely. Some lovely restaurants in oban or just cook at apartment all amenities there for you. Lovely touch from host bottle of wine on arrival thank you. Will defo be back in the near future.

Gute Lage ...
... um mit dem Positiven zu beginnen. Die Schlüsselübergabe passierte wie vereinbart. Die Wohnung selber leider sehr dreckig und auch kein Besen zur groben Reinigung vorhanden. Besonders die Böden hätten mal eine Grundreinigung nötig. Die Ausstattung minimalst, Bettenqualität auch eher am unteren Ende des Erträglichen.
Als Familie nicht empfehlenswert, vll gut als Schlafplatz für ein Partywochenende in Oban?

Conveniently located and good value for a week's stay.
The apartment suited our needs well and facilities were good.
Its unfortunately a noisy location, particularly Friday & Sat nights, and nothing you can do about that when the weather is warm and necessary to keep the windows open.
There were 1 or 2 small things that could be fixed, such as the loose shower support and creaky door hinges.

Walk to everything
This Oban flat was very good. Spacious and comfortable for a couple. It had everything we needed to eat in when we chose to. The washing machine a great bonus for those doing longer trips. With a place like this Wifi is pretty standard so great to have to look up the next day trip.
Apart from that the only improvement I would make is block out curtains or blinds in the bedroom. Coming into summer the light is bright! A clothes horse to dry washing on would also be ideal.
I noted the comment from the owner on a previous review about parking permits. It’s a shame the council doesn’t see this as an important part of bringing in the tourist dollar. It would make a stay easier and my next one longer.

nice flat but could do better
The flat was in a great location near to everything and Oban was great, Parking was a nightmare in all of Oban, but a good selling point for the owner would be a permit for the renters which other people in the street have. The flat can sleep 4 with a sofa bed, but is better for 2 people as kitchen utensils are pretty sparse, no tea towels or hand soap and toaster only worked intermittently. All in all was an OK place to stay for the weekend, but the communal entrance area and the stairs needs a good clean as does the windows, it looks like they have not been cleaned for months. Nice welcome from the owner but a few other minor touches in the flat would make it a great property.

Unfortunately the council will not issue parking permits for us to use for guests, so for the moment all we can do is direct people to the closest free parking, which sometimes can be busy. Will deal with all points raised this week. Thanks again.

A very nice apartment with almost all you could ask for.
The apartment has a very good location only a few steps from the centre of Oban. We had a most kind and friendly introduction to the apartment. With a coat rack in the entrance the apartment would be even more perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Good location
After a bad start actually getting the keys to the flat we had a good time. The flat is in a very good location close to all amenities . Its a clean well presented flat with a bottle of wine and a snack waiting for us.. The kitchen equipment is basic but sufficient for a short stay.

Very comfortable and roomy. All you could want for your stay. So close to all that beautiful Oban has to offer. Great variety of restaurants and pubs.

Great flat in Oban
Very close to transport links of ferry, bus and train. Large supermarket a few minutes away. Ideal central place to stay with pubs close by. It is close to the main road, which didn't bother me but you should bear in mind if booking. Meter parking outside, or if you go a short distance you can get free parking. Welcomed in person by Michael, brother of Jamie. Gave me all details required about the flat and check out. Bottle of wine and crisps to welcome my stay. Secure door entry and flat on first floor, stairs only. Light and bright sittingroom with kitchen. Very comfortable double bed in spacious room, south facing so lots of light again. Great place for a couple or friends staying. Would recommend 😃
