My first trip to Edinburgh and I'm so glad I stayed in this flat! It was very central in an excellent location, with beautiful views of Greyfriars Kirkyard. As a solo traveller safety was important to me, but the flat and the area felt safe and secure. Flat was warm, comfortable, a really lovely environment, and had everything I needed. I was very sad to leave at the end of my stay!

We recently stayed at Greyfriars Flat 6. This is my second stay at this flat. It is the perfect place to rest your head. It’s central to everything, but it’s quiet enough to sleep. Martin is great to work with regarding the flat. I would highly recommend this place. It has all that you need and a great location. I LOVE Edinburgh and will stay here again, if I come back a third time.

Acogedor, limpio y estupenda ubicación, a menos de 10 minutos a pie de la Royal Mile. Muy recomendable!

Had a lovely stay in Edinburgh. Flat is centrally located for all the main attractions, and the bus for Britannia is just round the corner opposite the Museum of Scotland. Don’t be put off by first impressions, yes the stairway up to the flat is not very inviting but once inside you will be happy with what is on offer. Lovely meals at Greyfriars Bobby pub and plenty of other places to eat or have a drink nearby.

Stayed 12 days in flat 6, excellent time, location is terrific, you are overlooking Greyfriars Kirk yard/Kirk, which I loved wandering thru amazing old tombs, stone work and peaceful respite from hustle and bustle. Short walk to grass market Victoria street, meadows, university, royal mile and I made the bit longer walk to Newtown and Princes street often. I have been to edinburgh several times and this is probably my favorite little hideaway! Suitable for one or two, someone could sleep in living room as well, small but perfect. Management so nice, in contact with them before and during. Fortunate to meet lovely cleaning person Anya who gave me all sorts of suggestions on sites further afield and shopping etc. will definitely return!

Amazing views straight across Greyfriars, flat not far from anywhere, all within walking distance, was interesting watching all the ghost tours go through. Flat had everything we needed, plus coffee, tea, milk biscuits and wine left for us. Free WIFI, free view Tv, and bed comfortable. A great selection of books and local information. Flat is up,two flights of stairs , so probably not all that suitable for those with mobility problems. But we had a great time.

This one bed flat was the perfect place to call home for our short stay at the fringe, Edinburgh. Perfect location and everything we could need in our stay. Only a very short walk to the castle, it was amazing how peaceful Greyfriars was. Plenty of home comforts, and helpful from day 1,we will definitely be using this company again.

Es un apartamento acogedor que tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días en Edimburgo. La cocina está muy bien equipada, ducha, calefacción y wifi funcionan perfectamente. El proceso de reserva fue muy fácil y muy claro. Ya había vivido en Edimburgo, escogí el apartamento por la zona donde está situado, con mucho encanto e ideal para hacer turismo. Totalmente recomendable!!

Professional and efficient service, booking was quick and easy, good communication throughout. Apartment is on 2nd floor of a period property, with lovely views over Greyfriars churchyard. Even though it is right in the heart of the old town, the apartment is quiet and secure. Location is convenient for museums and good choice of local shops and restaurants nearby. Kitchen is small but very well equipped with all the pans, dishes and utensils needed to cook a proper meal and a washing machine so we could do our own laundry. We've used Vacation Rentals Scotland before and were delighted with the consistent quality of the accommodation.

Nice Flat in centrer of city, < 5 minutes walk to Royal Mile and 10 minutes to railway station. Flat is spacious enough for 3, is clean and comforatable. Keys were mailed to home adress and we dropped key`s trough letterbox when leaving. No hassle.
