The location is ideal for all local amenities. Family friendly home from home with everything you could possibly need. Peaceful surroundings with only the early morning birdsong to wake you. High standard of cleanliness and covid guidance observed. We will be back for our third visit soon.

Mountain View Delight
I booked this cottage for my husband, my mother and myself. We were delighted with the cottage. It was furnished to a high standard, had a lovely decked area outside and spotlessly clean. It was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and was an easy walk into the centre of Aviemore.
We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Perfect location for Families
We stayed 6 nights in the Mountain View cottage and it was just great. The kids had their own bedroom and bathroom and sufficient space to play and run around.
The check-in/check-out process was very easy. High chair was provided as requested.
if we ever get to the Aviemore area again, we will defenitely stay here again.

Warm,welcoming bungalow in great location
Fantastic location with views across to the Cairngorms. Easy walk into Aviemore centre. Bungalow was very well appointed and beautifully presented. The property had every thing one needed and more. The owners obviously have an eye for detail. Christmas decorations and welcome hamper a very much appreciated bonus. Very warm and cosy especially with the log burner on.
Good WiFi.
The covid cleaning regime and control meant we felt very secure during these crazy times
We hope to return in the near future.

Great Stay with fab mountain views
First time staying with Silverglades. We normally stay in Rothiemurchus when in Aviemore. Mountain View was really comfortable, had fabulous decking area with seating and bbq and fab mountain views. Right next to pathway to Aviemore which was only a short walk away. Also excellent base for running (or cycling) down to Rothiemurchus and the old logging way trails. Would definitely recommend this property in particular given views and location. Comfortable for two adults and 11 year old.

Beautiful cottage with stunning views
Well equipped clean cosy cottage in the corner of a little cul de sac. Absolutely beautiful view of the Cairngorm mountains from the decking which leads out of the patio doors from the main bedroom. Would 100% stay here again...well organised company and very helpful.

A very comfortable stay
My husband and I stayed at Mountain View for two different weeks recently.On both occasions we found the house to be comfortable and well equipped.We felt confident staying there once we were allowed to travel,and the house was spotlessly clean.
The fittings were of excellent quality,with a very well equipped kitchen.The king size bed in the master bedroom was most comfortable,with good quality bedding.Iit was a joy to open the curtains in the morning and see the mountains.The weather was good enough for us to sit on the deck and admire the view.I especially liked the patio furniture,very practical and attractive.We appreciated that some of the usual extras like cushions,books,games and DVD’s were not available because of Covid regulations,but we had Netflix and Amazon Video for entertainment.I liked the en-suite shower room,while hubs and enjoyed the bath after a day’s hillwalking.
The staff at Silverglades are always so helpful,so we felt confident staying there.
The location is excellent,with good access to paths for walking to the amenities and for general walks.

Knowing the Highlands
I spent a few days over there to go hiking. It’s a very cozy home, with views of the highlands that I wish I could admire every day!!

Hidden gem
We stayed in Mountain View for the first time at the end of summer. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay: the house is in the perfect location for any family/friends/couples holiday in the Aviemore/ Cairngorms National Park area. We made great use of the old railway line path which takes you just 5 minutes to walk straight into Aviemore village without seeing a single car! Beautiful decor and thoughtful personal touches left by the owners to welcome us. Impeccably clean property. Idyllic private cul-de-sac location with stunning views over to the Cairngorm mountains from the wooden decking in the garden. Extremely comfortable beds!! We will most certainly be back!
