Leafy oasis in the middle of Paris
Stunning light filled apartment in historical Montmartre. I am a frequent traveler to Paris, and have rented this beautiful place from owner Maeggie many times, as well as referring my friends. The flowers, furniture, and setting are very esthetic and peaceful after a busy day of traveling. At the same time, the location is in the midst of many cafes, bistros, shops, Metro stations, art, churches, and great strolling streets and neighborhoods. Maeggie takes very good care of her guests with info and impeccable amenties. I can't speak highly enough of this special "find."

I'm afraid to say!!!
No disappointment here. Everything that has been said is true. I am afraid to add to the list, we may not be able to stay with Maeggie next time!
FYI-Best baguettes in Paris two blocks away. Pastry and Cheese shops around the corner. The rotisserie guy is great. Grocery across the way good for beer and wine staples.
Closest Metro stop Blanche. PIgalle several blocks away. Metro is easy to figure out. Get a metro pass and a museum pass and you are good to go. We only had to stand in line at the d'Orsay, very short though. Louvre was crazy full on a Thursday morning.
Highly recommend the apartment. Thank you Maeggie for all of your hospitality.

Peaceful Haven for our week in Paris
This a lovely apartment in a quiet gated courtyard with windows opening onto the garden and the birds and flowers in the window boxes for you to enjoy.
It contains everything you could possibly need right down bandages and cosmetic remover pads and several blow dryers in the bathroom and a full complement of pots, pans, dishes, glassware and assorted dry goods in the kitchen.
Because we are not very adept when it comes to operating new appliances we needed our host's assistance to figure out the dishwasher and the washer/dryer and the oven which she was happy to help with as she wants your stay to be very good and it was.
She has a binder full of useful information including bus schedules, metro maps, recommended restaurants in the neighborhood, TV channels and how to operate the appliances ;) When we left, her advice on the least busy metros to take to the train station was much appreciated.
We were lucky to get in here very last minute as she rarely has such an opening. She brings a very positive energy to the property so as to ensure a delightful stay so we were very glad to have the opportunity to stay in this apartment with such a good host right upstairs.

Exquisite apartment in a beautiful setting
We stayed at this apartment for a week in early November. The apartment is located in a block in a beautiful secluded garden close to both Pigalle and Montmarte.
The apartment is beautiful. Quiet, tranquil and with very tasteful decor. There are all the mod con's - everything you need for a great stay (including a full range of coffee making equipment - a must for us!l)
Maeggie, the owner, is very nice. She welcomed us and settled us in, in a very hospitable way. When one of us had an accident (at the Place de Concorde) she was very concerned and very helpful.
A superb place to stay in Paris.

a wonderful, inspirational, charming, cosy, green, quiet, comfortable apartment
Each morning we used to wake up with the songs of the birds from the garden and make a Nespresso or espresso or french press. Maeggie was a lovely host - charming, friendly and always there when needed. Surprisingly the area has a number of delicious restaurants and bakeries to enjoy.

Serenity and Calm
This is an absolute gem of an apartment. Maeggie has a real commitment that her guests enjoy their stay and keeps in touch with you.
On our arrival we were told to make ourselves at home and it was so easy to do that. The apartment is well-equipped and thoughtfully designed so you can do just that. We were relaxed and happy staying here.
The courtyard is so quiet and it was a delight to sit and look through the windows onto the gardens below. It's hard to believe that just metres away are the shops and bars of Rue Lepic.
The location is superb - you are surrounded by the most wonderful shops - cheese, butcher, grocery & bakers - so we cooked several evenings. When you don't want to shop then there is an excellent range of restaurants plus Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast/brunch and coffee. Ten minutes walk and you are in Montmartre.

Oasis in the middle of Montmartre
I come to Paris several times a year for work. The apartment that I normally stay in was rented the week I planned to come. Which wound up being a wonderful "inconvenience"... I would never have found Maeggie's beautiful, clean, bright, tranquil flat otherwise! I have to admit, the other apartment is hard to beat, and I was very disappointed having to search out another one. But I am SO glad I did, because I've now found my new favorite apartment in Paris. As other reviewers have said, the photos are absolutely accurate. Maeggie has impeccable taste, and she is warm and welcoming. I had never met her before (obviously) - but she made me feel like an old friend from the first contact. What I love most about the apartment is that it is so quiet! Montmartre is a very busy place - especially when the weather is nice and the sun sets late. This apartment is located in the middle of a network of private residences, tucked in to the side of a beautiful little (did I say quiet?) garden. Just lovely. Easy access to metro lines 2 and 12 (and 4 with a little walk). Plenty of storage. Really comfortable bed. It is up two flights of narrow stairs (not counting the entry stairs), so expect some exercise...but SO worth it. If you're planning on staying in Montmartre, then you already know that it's a constant up, down, up, down of hills and stairs so this shouldn't really deter you.
The apartment is perfect for solo travelers, romantic getaway, (small) family vacation. Really, nothing to criticize at all. Recommend enthusiastically!

Paris with ease
Spent 3 weeks in this apartment in Montmarte, time went quickly, accommodation was excellent. Arrangements for booking were handled efficiently and without fuss, Maeggie was very professional in all aspects. We arrived earlier than normal hotel check in but this wasn't a problem, warmly greeted and shown around the apartment and local area.
The apartment is exactly as seen in the photos, bright and relaxed with all that you will need for relaxation and any self catering. Kitchen and bathroom are compact but functional, bedroom is very spacious.
The apartment is in a very secure location with a garden area directly outside, it is a very quiet location albeit being in the heart of Montmartre.
The apartment is on the second floor with a narrow stairway, wasn't a problem but may be difficult for those that are less mobile.
Will be staying again.

Beautiful
It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Everything in the apartment had been so beautifully considered. The location and setting was perfect and Maeggie could not have been more helpful.
