We all really enjoyed our stay in this appartment. Great location very near to so many special places - market and great food amd wine shops, amazing sea front/Promenade, Opera, tram system, central Nice, many great places to eat and drink too. Comfortable beds, all amenities worked well, great space to share with family or friends.

Muy buen departamento. Muy bien ubicado. Cerca de la ciudad vieja y del mar. Muy bien equipado , espacioso.
Lo único es que tuve muchos problemas con la host Valerie. Pudo haber sido un caso aislado pero no me atendió bien en lo más mínimo.

Very generous of this guest to praise the apartment. In fact he left it in a total mess which required withholding extra cleaning on the damage deposit. In addition he left the apartment unlocked door open and insecure on departure. Most irresponsible. During the dispute all communication with the host was checked and was found to be totally correct. Poor communication was entirely with the guest. Recognition that it is a great place to stay is some salvation.

Just the best!
An fantastic week - Nice is probably the most vibrant city we've been to.
The apartment is perfectly positioned in the Old Town, the front door of the block opening onto a fruit and vegetable market in the day and an art and craft market in the evening.
In excess of 20 restaurants within two minutes of the apartment, all with fabulous food.
A brilliant week, get down there!

not for seniors
There are some 65 steps up to the apartment - particularly challenging with luggage. There is a step down into one of the bedrooms, loose tiles in the bathroom and the shower access is difficult - each presents something of a hazard.
The apartment itself lived up to expectation being spacious and well appointed and the beds were most comfortable. Being in the Cours Saleya was excellent.

Everything at your door step
The location is terrific. My sister and I took long morning walks along the beaches or walked to get groceries or bakery items. The open markets are at your door and the stands change daily- fruit and vegetables, antiques,paintings, and at night the restaurant tables filled the space. Train station easy to get to with quick access to town tram and buses. We took day trips to Monaco and Cannes. Gelato everywhere, favorite flavors were olive and combo of lime and basil. The apartment did not have A/C but several well placed fans, beach across the street and the apartment had towels and beach mats. So the heatwave was not a problem. Shower had great water pressure. Comfortable and well placed apartment. Would definitely rent again. Owner and coordinator were super to plan with!

Perfect Location
Booked the apartment for the weekend. Perfect location in old town, we could walk to all the sites with no problem. The beach is across the street, and the restaurants right outside the front door. Along with my sister and cousin we had a fantastic time. The apartment is on the third floor, of a walk. While we were there was a note to residents to make sure to lock the door, so that undesirables would not enter. Regardless, we felt safe and very comfortable. The apartment is spacious and well spaced. It was clean and welcoming. This is definitely somewhere I would stay again on my next visit to Nice. The price was fair, considering it's location.

Great location - rustic apartment
Great service pre-arrival from owner, apartment exactly as advertised, superb location - in the heart of the Old Town, above the market (which is fantastic) and very traditional decor. Really liked the place and would recommend. Note being in the centre of it all means there's hustle bustle and the market traders start early(!) but in my view a small price to pay.

Superb Location for our Nice weekend getaway
I emailed the owner of the apartment to secure it for a weekend trip. Scott responded
very quickly to confirm. The booking and payment process was quick and seamless.
The Good:
-Location, Location. This place is right on Cours Saleya. It's a main street with restaurants, shops, and easy access to Promenade des Anglais and the beach.
- Nice clean apartment with pretty much everything you need (homey).
- Apartment was as advertised
- Lease assistant in France, Val, is AMAZING! She gave us tips on where to go, including a very nice boulangerie just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. We also set up a tour and when we couldn't get a hold of the company, she did that for us. Awesome lady!
The so-so:
- The apartment is not non-smoking. If you've been to Europe, then you know smoking is pretty much everywhere. My sis has allergies so the first night was a bit tough for her. Next time, we will make it a point to carry some Febreeze with us! In the mornings, we opened up the windows to let some air in while having brkfst so it wasn't a big problem then.
- The stairs. Ohhh the stairs! I wouldn't recommend this for older people or those with wheelchairs or heavy strollers. It was a work out that we did twice a day, once going down and once going up. But hey, it was Ok especially after all the yummy food and wine!
Overall, superb stay and would definitely book again!

Lovely spacious apartment in a fantastic location
I stayed here for 2 nights with 3 friends and the apartment exceeded all of our expectations. It has a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area which is nicely furnished.The bedrooms are a good size and the beds were comfy. Yes the hallway had many stairs and could do with a refurb but the apartment and location make up for it. The markets, restaurants, cafes and bars of the old town are right on the doorstep and its 5 mins from the beach.
The booking, arrival and check-out process was easy and there was flexibility with the check-in and check-out times.
Just hope I can go back again soon!

Great Apartment in a Great Location
wonderful apartment for our short stay in Nice. The apartment was well-equipped and very comfortable for my mother and me.
I wouldn't recommend this apartment for less physically able people, though the stairs were a great daily workout program!
From a location point of view, this place was also simply perfect, with virtually everything within easy reach, and the Marché aux Fleurs in the Cours Saleya directly outside is definitely worth a visit.
Thanks Scott - we really enjoyed ourselves.
