Très bel appartement au porte du vieux port, nous avons passer 3 excellente nuit dans cet appartement. Proche de plusieurs activité la voiture n’était pas nécessaire. Propriétaire très gentille et avec de bon conseil !

On a séjourné moi et mon mari pour une semaine,l appartement est magnifique,tous se qu'il faut ,équipé, tout est de qualité,litterie,serviette, machine à café(que mon mari a adoré)emplacement?ON PEUT PAS REVER MIEUX.....IL MÉRITERAI UN 5* pas 4,bref super semaine ,a refaire et a ne pas hésiter

brilliant location, brilliant city
3rd floor flat with lift. worked perfectly as base. Maguy really nice and helpful. Quiet but really central. on the doorstep are the freshest fish ever, the fishermen sell direct, boulanger, bucherie and general stores short walk at the back of the opera. the opera is so close you would be mad not to go. atmosphere in January fabulous, Mediterranean warm winter sunshine was so welcome. transport system great for exploring and cheap. use metro from train station, easy and a lot cheaper than taxi. also souk like Arab and north African food markets nearby great fun. Boat trips to Frioul island and Callanques highly recommended. we stayed 10 days and filled them easily.

Can't beat the location, but...
We spent 4 nights at this flat. It is right in the center of the Old Port and has easy walking access to many local sites and stores. We enjoyed the fact that we could cook for ourselves, though the stove was a challenge to learn. The flat itself has a living room, 2 half bathrooms, and a kitchen. The bathroom situation could be better. There is only 1 toilet, in a very small 1/2 BR. The en suite bathroom has no toilet, just a bath and bidet. Further, the shower is just a hand-held unit that you have to sit in the tub to use. A bit strange. Our hostess, while very helpful and concerned, was out of town when we arrived , so we had to meet up with her sister.The only way we knew this was I had emailed her the day before to make sure everything was set. we had a little trouble meeting up as we did not have the actual address.
Further, the prior tenants had not vacated and their luggage was still there.
All in all, it was a great location but could have been better. It needs some upgrading of the tile and other things. If you are there for a day or two, go ahead. For a longer stay, you may find a better choice.

Wonderful experience!
I can't say enough good things about this apartment! It is located right in the heart of Vieux Port and directly across the street from the boat shuttles to the Friol Islands and Chateau D'If. Steps away are tons of cafes and restaurants, including a few well reputed ones for trying bouillabaise. There are two grocery stores close by as also two taxi ranks for easy transport to the airport and other places. The apartment itself is very clean, cute, and comfortable and provides everything needed for a stay. From a fully equipped kitchen to privacy drapes to a great bed to a TV with international channels. The owner, Maguy, is very easy to work with, warm and friendly, always willing to answer questions, and prompt in her communications. She was nice enough, upon my request, to leave a little folder with recommendations on restaurants, sightseeing etc. The entire process from booking to refund of deposit was a breeze. I highly recommend this rental and would never consider staying anywhere else when we return to Marseilles. Am happy to answer any questions on the rental.

The location of the apartment is perfect - less than 5 minutes walk from the Vieux Port metro station. This means you are in the most convenient area for wonderful restaurants (eg in Place aux Huiles) and also several of the main tourist attractions - eg the fantastic new MUCEM. The apartment itself is tastefully decorated, very spacious and spotlessly clean - and the bed is very comfortable!
We weren't able to actually see Maguy as she was away at the time we stayed, but she made all the arrangements for her sister to meet us instead.

Appartement confortable bien équipé, literie et linge de maison de qualité... Quelques jouets de plage pour le petit... le bonheur!
