Hemos estado unos días en Málaga alojadas en este apartamento que recomiendo 100%. Además de estar muy bien ubicado, destaco su limpieza, comodidad y la amabilidad de los dueños y los que lo arreglan. Ha sido una estancia muy agradable, sin duda para repetir.

Absolutely perfect !
We have just returned after a wonderful 5 night stay in this fantastic apartment.
The property is situated in the old part of Malaga and is a short and easy walk to all of the main sights and museums. There are very many good cafes and restaurants in the area and numerous supermarkets and a wonderful bakery very close by. It is in a quiet pedestrianised street about 25m from the road. We felt very safe there.
The apartment itself is in superb condition and looks very newly refurbished. There are two bedrooms - one double and one twin. The bed linens were clean and fresh and there were plenty of both large and small towels of excellent quality. There was plenty of storage space in both rooms. The stylish bathroom had an excellent shower with unlimited hot water, a very good hair dryer and plenty of shower gel and shampoo. My only very very minor suggestion would be that the bedrooms could each do with a mirror.
The very well decorated kitchen/dining/sitting area had everything needed to make for a great stay. One of my pet hates when renting a property is when there is absolutely nothing there other than pots and pans etc. In this case everything was provided. There were dishwasher tablets, several laundry sachets, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cleaning products and cloths and a selection of herbs, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. The owners had also kindly provided a local cake, a few cans of beer and soft drinks and a bottle of water. As a result all we had to buy was some extra water, a bottle of wine and our morning pastries from the nearby bakery( we had decided not to cook while there).
There was a large TV with Netflix as well as local channels.
The very kind owners messaged us each day just to check that everything was OK.
We had a wonderful time in Malaga that was made even better by staying in such a great apartment. It was certainly one of the best city stays we have ever had and we would not hesitate to recommend it wholeheartedly.

Un séjour entre copines
Nous avons séjourné 3 jours à Malaga dans cet appartement très agréable au cœur du centre. Il est très chaleureux, parfaitement équipé. A l arrivée nous avons eu des attentions comme un gâteau, des boissons au frigo et tout le nécessaire pour connaître les meilleurs endroits à Malaga (restaurants/bar/activités...) avec une carte. Il y avait même du café, du thé, de l eau minérale... nous n avons même pas eu besoin de courir acheter tout ça au petit supermarché du coin. Et de plus, les propriétaires sont adorables et très disponible! Nous avons manqué de rien. C était parfait !
We stayed 3 days in Malaga in this very pleasant flat dowtown. The flat is cosy and very well equiped. At arrival, we had some cake, beverages and everything we needed to enjoy malaga (restaurants, bars, activities...) and a map. There was coffee, tea and mineral water, no need to rush in a supermarket. Moreover, the owners are very nice and easy to reach. We didn't miss a thing. It was perfect

This was a great location for exploring the old town and just 20 minute walk to the beach.
Had everything we needed for 5 night stay and were lucky enough to be able to check in early and check out late.
We may well be back.
Malaga was great, lovely weather with cooling breeze.
Fantastic choice of food, visit to the central market a highlight as were the castle and fortress.

Sunshine break in Malaga
We read the reviews all were found to be true,this is a super holiday apartment.Ruben and Simona are very keen to enquire that you are having a good stay which we did.
The location is great an easy walk to good restaurants and other attractions.We had perfect weather and a most enjoyable 5 day break.

Malaga Family Trip
We had a very nice 5 days in this beautiful Apartment in the City center of Malaga !!! We were at four ( with two teenegars)!
The Flat is super clean absolut comfortable, the kitchen is perfekt and gut equipped ! The owners are very very kind and polite and helpfull 🤗! The communication is total easy with them!!

Great apartment
Had a fabulous time in Malaga staying in this lovely apartment. It is in a great location, very clean with a stylish decor. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and helped to make our stay so enjoyable!

Fantastic apartment in a great location with amazing hosts
A beautiful, modern, spotlessly clean and super cool apartment in a fantastic location for exploring the wonderful city of Malaga. The apartment is walking distance to all the sights and attractions of Malaga but situated in a quiet pedestrianised street so nice and peaceful at night. You can easily reach the cathedral, the Alcazaba, Picasso museum, the port and the beach. We were with my wives 83 year old parents and they walked everywhere. The hosts are super attentive and kept in touch throughout our stay to make sure we were having a great time with great suggestions for restaurants and sight seeing and were super flexible. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and the Familia Mateus as hosts, thanks for a great stay!!

Formidable
Simona et Ruben sont des hôtes formidables. Toujours disponibles et très accueillants. À notre arrivée, il y avail de l’eau, du café, thé et tisanes, pain et confitures, jambon, lait et jus etc. Rien ne manquait pour un départ exceptionnel.
L’appartement est très bien équipé, la description est juste. Il ne peut être mieux situé. Rue piétonne, tranquille, en plein centre. Toute le centre-ville se fait à pied. Pas besoin de voiture..
Nous espérons retourner à Malaga car la ville est magnifique et les citadins sont tous sans exception, merveilleux.

We have recently returned home from a truly wonderful stay of 1 month (covering Christmas and New Year) at this really beautiful apartment. If we could give it more than 5 stars, we would. The owners, Simona & Rubén are exceptional hosts. They are genuinely lovely people and really do take the best care of their guests.
Prior to our arrival they emailed maps and recommendations to us which was a good start.
The apartment is on a nice, quiet pedestrianised street. Our taxi dropped us at the closest possible point, which was literally just a few yards away from the building, so no problem for us to wheel our luggage. Simona greeted us warmly on arrival (with a welcoming cake and some Christmas gifts - an assortment of special local Christmas biscuits, bottle of wine and a beautiful poinsettia plant!) and explained about all the available facilities. (Please see the owners' list of Amenities for the full description – it's 'spot on'). The following items had been thoughtfully provided so that we did not have to visit the supermarket immediately – milk, water, soft drinks and beer, tea, coffee, olive oil and seasonings, paper napkins, shower gel and shampoo. Also, a good supply of housekeeping and cleaning materials.
The apartment is smart and tastefully decorated, comfortable and very fresh and clean. (The owners' photographs really are an accurate reflection of the property, so there was no need for us to take any photos for this review). There was a plentiful supply of bath and hand towels and even beach towels and umbrellas were provided.
Cross the road, and Calle Larios the main shopping street (and spectacular Christmas lights) were a very easy few minutes walk away. There are many wonderful bars, restaurants, cafes and shops in Málaga. There really is something for every taste and budget. Although not essential, we had taken a few 'Beginners Spanish' lessons before our trip. Using a few simple Spanish words and phrases really added an extra dimension to our trip and was well received.
Simona & Rubén sent us lovely, friendly messages during our stay, genuinely interested in how we were enjoying ourselves.
There was plenty for us to see and do in Málaga and we explored the city mainly on foot. There is an easy walk down towards the harbour, past the lighthouse and along to the beach – palm trees, parakeets and orange trees along the way. Such a delight in December!
We found plenty to see and do in Malaga. The Malagueños are very welcoming and friendly, the local dishes and wines are truly delicious, and this apartment is a real gem. Many thanks to Simona and Rubén for all their kindness and consideration.
As soon as we got home we booked flights to return in a few weeks time. Although this apartment was booked for the weeks we wanted, Simona & Rubén were able to suggest similar accommodation and we have every confidence in their advice.
We have no hesitation in recommending Malaga as a great city to visit, this apartment as the perfect place to stay and Simona and Rubén as the very best of hosts.
