This was advertised as an apartment but was in fact a very cramped studio. The shower was so tiny it was difficult to bend down in it.
The owner is without exception the most rude and aggressive exploitative host (with no hosting skills) that I have ever experienced. He is a bully and is manipulative. The air conditioning failed while we were staying there and rather than apologise and get it fixed he threw a brat fit and kept our deposit 100 euros. He said we used it too much. Seriously. He sent us a very nasty text and then blocked us. The apt is about 12 mins from beach but is up a fairly steep hill on the way back. Beware because when you book he insists on a 10% deposit and in addition tells you to pay a refundable 1500 euros or a 40 euro insurance policy. We took out the policy and he put in a claim for his air conditioning breaking. The unit clearly needed servicing or cleaning because it was whining for a couple of days before it went off completely. He is greedy and insincere. Never again.

Excellent apartment
Stayed at this apartment for 10 days it was lovely very well equipped and clean. Not far from the beach. The owner Javier met us there and showed us around . Nice pool and was very quite.

Best choice in Torremolinos! Mejor imposible!
Ubicación excelente, decoración exquisita y Javi un 10!
Tienes a dos minutos la playa y el
Paseo marítimo con chiringuitos, además la playa es tranquila y muy cómoda.
El apartamento es perfecto y muy bonito, con todo lo que necesitas y más ! Edificio con pocos apartamentos y piscina. Internet con fibra, esencial para teletrabajo para unos días ( en tiempos de covid es la escapada perfecta )
Destacar su decoración, y sobre todo el trato y atención de Javi, muy detallista.

Jus 2 min waking to the The Carihuela beach, great and peaceful beach, no tourist crowd, more local people with the the best beach restaurant offer.

The promenade and beach is only 5 min on foot. You can check it on Google maps. (Avenida Carlota Alessandri 186)

Fabulous apartment
This is the first time staying in Carrihuela area and we could not have picked a more perfect apartment and location. Javier has been very easy to keep in touch with and met us at the apartment when we arrived, great handover and information. The apartment is just as good as the photos suggest, exceptionally clean and everything you could want. We have stayed in many holiday lets but this has to be the best we have stayed in, a lot of thought and care has gone into the decoration and facilities. It really is very homely and comfortable. Location is great too, 10 minutes walk from Monte Mar train station, couple of minutes to Mercadona. 5 minutes from beach front and bars/restaurants. That said it was very quiet at night, no traffic noise.

Superb again
Second stay in Javiers lovely apartment and obviously wouldn’t have come again if we didn’t a great experience first time round.
We come to the area a couple of times a year and have tried to book on previous occasions but have had no luck as it is always fully booked.
First class accommodation, perfect for a couple,excellent central location and Javier the owner is a really nice guy.
Would highly recommend to all.

Tanto el trato de Javier como el apartamento sin ninguna queja posible. El dueño es realmente agradable y muy educado, el apartamento está decorado con mucho cuidado y de forma muy práctica, lo que hace muy cómoda la estancia y tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar para pasar unos días fuera de casa (no echas nada en falta).
La cama es muy correcta, cómoda y la cocina es funcional aunque teniendo el paseo marítimo a 5 minutos a pie se pueden disfrutar de muchos restaurantes y lugares para tomar un vino y unas raciones por lo que no la usamos demasiado.

Great in all respects
The location is perfect, with the beach and lovely promenade only minutes away. After a day on the beach you can stroll along the promenade visiting the many shops, bars and restaurants that La Carihuels boasts. Javier is great to deal with and he responded very quickly to any queries I had. The apartment is as shown in the pictures and is ideal for two people. The bus stop is outside the complex running along to Torremolinos and Benalmadena as well as further afield to fuengirola. Highly recommend

Lovely place to stay
Thanks javier for a lovely stay in your apartment we were very comfortable as we spent 14 nights.close to a really good supermarket.very close to the beach.The weather was wonderful to thanks a great place to stay.
