I stayed at Mario's apartment from mid-July through mid-Aug. I found the apartment to be quite charming, very clean, well equipped and in an excellent location. Mario himself was very helpful and accommodating. After the first few days, I felt right at home. The stair case, at first, was a little intimidating but after a few up and down climbs it became a normal part of life at the apartment. I give my highest recommendation and plan to return next year.

Mario es una persona atenta y servicial y su apartamento impecable. Nos sentimos muy cómodas, todo funciona a la perfección, como en casa! está en una zona increíble, en el centro de Barcelona, casi no tuvimos que movernos en subte dado que todo está cercano (el barrio gótico, el born, el mercado de la Boquería, plaza Catalunya, el raval, todo) más que agradecidas, no queríamos irnos!

Rented this nice apartment from Dec. 14 thru Feb. 14th, 2017 as was very satisfied. The owner Mario is extremely helpful, with good English. Overall it is a wonderful apartment, well appointed and in PERFECT location to all things Barcelona! Clean, newly renovated and convenient. If it had an elevator/lift I would give it 100% glowing remarks. Down fall is the apartment is on 4th floor (#3 but no apartment on the first floor, so apartments start on the second floor), with a very narrow, spiral stairway. You best be fit and in good shape or you are in for a shock. Even some of my local friends who visited complained about the stairway, so it is not just me being a big guy. Also, toilet is kinda wedged in corner, past the sink and is a very tight fit. Again, not good for larger people or people with mobility issues. Other than these two issues, this apartment is incredible. Great value, great location, great owner! Thank you Mario!

Un estudio muy bien equipado. Tranquilo y muy céntrico Muy agradable. Si no os importa subir escaleras estrechas, es un sitio ideal.

Mario was very helpful getting settled in and answered our questions promptly. Location was wonderful near Pl Catalunya but very quiet. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water.

The location is very central. The apartment is great for 2 people, it has a fully equipped kitchen, nice bed, clean shower, cozy living room. There's no formal dining room though, so eating might be on the coffee table or the bar. There's no elevator and the stairs could be a lot terrifying in the beginning but you will get used to it. Your legs will also thank you for it! Loved this apartment, stayed here for 5 weeks in Barcelona!

I am so happy that we stayed at this apartment! It is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay! Dishes, silverware, soap, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, hairdryer, iron..... What makes this place is the owner- he literally walks you through everything you need to know and helps you with directions and the best way of transportation to the apartment. Another nice feature is that this apartment is in the middle of Barcelona so it is super easy to navigate or get to the metro. I honestly would not hesitate staying here again as this was such an enjoyable experience - thank you again Mario! P.S. There are a lot of stairs up to the apartment but look at it as exercise .... And if you're truly trying to live like a local then you're doing it right with the winding stairs :)

I had a wonderfull time in Barcelona. I love my flat! Perfect locación, nice neighborhood, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Next to plaça Catalunya and Ramblas. Mario was an excellent host, very nice and helpfull with anything you need. I definitively would go back again! Grate expierience

I really enjoyed my stay at the apartment. It was perfectly situated, close to Las Ramblas and El Borne. The apartment was furnished nicely and very comfortable. It could be a bit noisy at night, but it wasn't a problem for me. The shower was wonderful! Also, it was very helpful having a combination washer and dryer. All in all Mario's apartment fit my needs perfectly for my first visit to Barcelona. Marcus
