I highly recommend staying at Casa Yok! Casa B was a wonderful place to stay in Barcelona, and we wish we'd stayed longer than 3 nights. The location is splendid; it's walking distance to most of Barcelona's tourist attractions as well as lively neighborhood spots. The decor and design were incredibly thoughtful and charming, full of up-cycled and vintage pieces. The unit was clean and bright. We appreciated the sustainability-minded nature of the business. Sandro, the concierge, was incredibly helpful and had a warm, positive attitude. We enjoyed catching up with him on the top floor. Thank you to Sandro for sharing several coffees with me and providing as much fresh, filtered drinking water as needed! Casa Yok strikes the perfect balance of being friendly, personal, and professionally managed. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Barcelona.

Perfekt um Barcelona zu erkunden
Sehr liebevoll restaurierte Altbauwohnung mit vielen hübschen Details, absolut nicht alltäglich.
Und mittendrin im Leben, Bioladen gegenüber, Cafés rechts und links, Restaurants um die Ecke, Plaça de Catalunya in 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, um von dort per HopOnHopOff Bus die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu bestaunen.
Zu Fuß direkt in die Altstadt, Parks und an den Strand.
Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Mari herzlich in Empfang genommen, die auch während des Aufenthaltes immer ansprechbar war und uns auch vorher schon diverse Tipps gegeben hat. Im Kühlschrank stand schon Wasser und Obst bereit. Was will man mehr?

Great Location and Accomodation in the heart of the city
Yok Casa B is the perfect place to stay for a long weekend (or longer) in a central and lovely part of the city. You can virtually walk everywhere in the city from here. we didn't take one taxi during the 4 days / 3 nights we stayed.
The apartment is easily accessible from the Airport using the Aerobus from the airport it is 30minutes journey to Plaza Catalunya were you can walk to Yok Casa in less than 10 minutes easily. the Bus is less than 6 Euros each way so no need for taxis.
Once you are at the Apartment Mari and the front of house staff Hector who checked us in are lovely and more than helpful with recommendations for restaurants, bars and sights to see. we ate in local restaurants recommended by Hector and Mari on all three nights we stayed and every one served delicious local food at a reasonable price, I don't think we would have found these restaurants without the recommendation we received from Mari.
We also enjoyed our complimentary breakfast on the terrace one morning with Mari, the views are amazing.
The accommodation is very clean and the Bed is just amazing, very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our long weekend in Barcelona and we will definitely stay in Yok Casa B the next time we visit this amazing city.

Mi casa en Barcelona
Ya van 2 años seguidos que me quedo en los departamentos de Mari y Petz en Barcelona - el año pasado en Casa A y este año en Casa B. Cuando organicé mi regreso a Barcelona las contacté de inmediato para reservar con ellas.
El departamento está súper bien ubicado, y una buena base para ir caminando o en bicicleta por todos los lugares que uno podría querer conocer. Todo está impecable, limpio, y con detalles que hacen notar que les importa mucho lo que hacen. Las camas son increíblemente cómodas. Estaban disponibles en todo momento para ayudar, aclarar dudas, y dar consejos sobre nuestra estancia.
Espero con ansias regresar a Barcelona y sin duda voy a reservar con yök!

Um Barcelona zu erleben, gibt es kaum einen besseren Ort als yok Casa! Top Ausstattung mit dem richtigen Faible für nachhaltige Materialien beim Interior, Super freundliche Gastgeber, atemberaubender Blick von der Terrasse.
Cafe und kleine fantastische Restaurants vor der Tür.

Perfekte Unterkunft für Familien
Der erste Eindruck der Webpage trügt nicht: Alles ist schön hier. Die Unterkunft ist hell und wunderbar eingerichtet, alle Materialien wie Bettwäsche etc. "fühlen sich gut an". Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auch während des Aufenthalts war immer jemand da, wenn wir etwas brauchten. Die Wohnung eignet sich gut für eine Familie mit einem oder zwei Kindern. Mari und Petz - vielen Dank!!!
Einziger Kritikpunkt, der sich aber nicht ändern lässt: Von der Strasse her ist es manchmal etwas laut, dafür ist die Lage sehr gut.

Perfect stay in Barcelona
I’ve stayed at Yök twice & would love to go back....it is the perfect place to enjoy & explore Barcelona! Mari & Petz are welcoming & helpful, we’ve had long chats on their terrace with a beautiful view of the city. The apartments are sensitively restored, clean & comfortable and in a great location.

Great apartment, great location and great hosts
My girlfriend and I stayed here this past week. We can’t recommend it enough. Mari and Petz are terrific hosts and were happy to answer our questions, make recommendations and even arranged for a taxi for us to the airport with Pedro, who showed up 5 minutes before our scheduled pickup. If you need a taxi to the airport I highly recommend that you ask Mari and Petz to get it. We were unable to do so even though we tried googling and calling whoever we could.
The apartment is big, the terrace goes across from the kitchen to the bedroom and the shower is terrific. More room than necessary for 2 but we loved it. It was nice to have the space. Their terrace has great views and Mari served us breakfast there in our first morning. Mari and Petz are just as great as you read in other reviews. Very genuine and affable. We went all over the city and we think this apartment is in a perfect place. Very close to the hot spots but quiet enough to chill. Our favorite section was Born. Hundreds of tapa places and bars in ancient streets and alleys. A 5 minute walk. We rented bicycles and we HIGHLY recommend this. Not expensive and it makes it much easier to see a lot of the city in a short time. Barcelona is very walkable but bike friendly too. A little confusing at times about when to ride on the sidewalk or the road (when there isn’t a bike lane- there are a lot of those) but just follow the lead of the Barcelonians you see. You’ll have a blast. The bike shop is right across from the apartment and not expensive. Very nice owners.
If you aren’t sure about whether to visit Barcelona over somewhere else, Barcelona is the place to go. Friendly, beautiful, artistic, timeless, great food, English speaking everywhere without making you feel self-conscious and intimate. It’s hard to describe unless you go.
Recommendations:
1. Sagrada Familia - I know, everyone says it but until you see it you won’t understand why. We took a tour with Visit Europa Today (southwest corner across from Sagrada Familia) and totally worth it. 45 euros each cash only.
2. Drink on the 8th floor of Ayers Hotel. Right across the street from Sagrada Familia. Great place for happy hour. Good bar food. Not expensive. Very chic rooftop terrace bar.
3. Rent bicycles - ride to the beach which is about 15 minutes from the apartment. You won’t regret it. Plenty of room to ride along the plazas at the beach. A couple miles long. We went to one of the last beaches where it was quieter and had a good little restaurant. There are about a million of the all along the beach of every type. The beaches are nice sand and the water is beautiful.
4. Walk or ride to Born for drinks and food.
5. Ride or walk all over the city.
6. Go to the Arc de Triomf. The entire park there is quite beautiful.
We were only there for 3 nights so I’m sure Mari and Petz can recommend other places that are a must.

Great place to stay!
Top appartment! Bright rooms with very beautiful furnishings. Everything's neat and clean and the beds are very comfortable. I also liked the screen where you could see how much electricity and water you used per day.
Petz is super nice and helpful. We got many insidertips for restaurants and places to go.
We really recommend! :)
