La Torre
Great apartment. Great ground floor position literally 20 yards to amazing pool. Problem with air con unit in main bedroom blowing warm air. Maintenance responded very quickly but didn’t improve and language barrier was such that we left it and slept with door open to try and get cooler air from unit in lounge. In August heat wasn’t ideal. Our main reason for not staying at any of the beautiful properties on this classy resort again, is that it is described as having a vibrant village centre, with shops bars and restaurants. If you don’t want to drive offsite in the evening as we don’t it is a major selling point. There are two bars and three restaurants, which for a complex of this size is totally inadequate. Such a shame.

Excellent apartment. Missed all the flood problems. Right next to a lovely swimming pool which was needed as the weather was in the 30's each day.

Lugar muy tranquilo y seguro.
La ubicación, para quien busque tranquilidad, es perfecta. Lugar muy seguro para los niños. Howard, el propietario, es muy atento. Y el apartamento está bien. Lo mejor: la tranquilidad del lugar y la sensación de "estar en casa". El único defecto: que hay zonas de la casa como la terraza, las ventanas, las amacas y los cristales de las ventanas que se nota que no se limpian desde hace mucho tiempo. Una pena porque sería lo unico a mejorar. Pero bueno, en general, un lugar muy agradable con un propietario dispuesto siempre a ser útil. Volveria!!

Our Perfect Apartment on La Torre
This was our 3rd trip to La Torre and this apartment ticked all the boxes for us. Howard, the owner, couldn't be more helpful. The apartment is a really good size with everything needed for a relaxing break. The pool by the apartment is one of the best on the complex and the town and supermarket really near. This is the best apartment we have been on and will definately be returning.

smashing apartment in a cracking spot
Loved our stay in this large and well equipped apartment. Perfectly positioned near the pool within a few meters of the patio. Beds super comfy and shower is soooo powerful- GREAT!
Facilities in the La Torre site very good with a well priced supermarket but easy drive to Mercadano ( Spanish ASDA) in San Javier and much more choice and vastly cheaper so self catering easy peasy.
Landscape around La Torre very agricultural but lots of nice places to visit- Murcia an easy drive and fab café and restaurant culture. Los Alcazares a bit ropey but restuarant El Patio II is worth a visit as this serves really great decently priced food. You defo need a car to enjoy this region fully.
Would highly recommend and Howard the owner is very conscientious.

A little piece of heaven.
The apartment was stunning and everything we needed was there for us. Coming out the apartment straight into the pool area was sheer bliss and having a barbecue in our garden was another added bonus. The supermarket was a 5 minute walk and a 10 minute walk to the nearest bar and restaurants. Roldan was only 10 minutes in a taxi and the restaurants and the pubs there were fantastic. All in all, it was amazing and I can't wait to go back again.

As relaxing as you want it to be, and fun for the kids!
The apartment is a really good size and has all the amenities that you need. The bedrooms and lounge area are air conditioned and a Godsend after being out in the sun. The pool is well situated, it is really close to the apartment, but not so that it is intrusive. A hire car is really recommended, but well worth it as lots of beaches and interesting towns within easy reach. You can make what you want of your holiday here, you could just lounge about by the pool or around the apartment, or get out about and explore. Oh and if you are allowed there is a fantastic looking golf course which I hope to play on when I return in 2013!! Would really recommend!
