Calpe<BR>La Fustera lies on the coast road between Calpe and Moraira. The area has its own beach (there are lots of small coves on this part of the coast that you can walk or drive to) together with an excellent supermarket where you can get everything you need,also bars and restaurants close by.<BR>Calpe is a large, but traditional , Spanish town that boasts many excellent shops, beaches, restaurants and bars. The Penon de Ifach is now a nature reserve with the salt flats, unique vegetation, flamingos and migrant bird population. The peak of the rock can be reached up a zigzagg track, which overlooks the working fish port and yacht harbour.<BR>Calpe also boasts two blue flag beaches, which offer extensive water sports facilities in high season. As well as the modern town, Calpe has a typically Spanish old town, which offers an excellent range of traditional bars and restaurants. There are many surrounding towns within a short drive, all well worth a visit - Moraira, Altea, Javea to name just three - as is the beautifull preserved medieval village of Guadalest up in the mountains. Whether you want a quiet holiday or a fun-packed one there is something for eveyone in and around Calpe.<BR>
