Sorrento est idéalement situé pour visiter toutes les merveilles de la baie de Naples et de la côte Amalfitaine et l’appartement est idéalement situé dans Sorrento (10 minutes à pieds de la gare d’où partent les trains pour Naples, Pompéi ou Herculanum et les bus, 10 minutes à pieds de la piazza Tasso, centre de la ville, 15 à 20 -avec enfants de 6 et 8 ans- minutes à pieds du port d’où partent les bateaux pour Capri, la côte Amalfitaine ou les autres points d’intérêt, 2 minutes à pieds de 2 supermarchés et des premiers restaurants) tout en étant au calme. L’appartement est spacieux, propre et bien équipé, bénéficie d’une immense terrasse donnant sur la mer et le Vésuve. Gerardo et ses parents ont été adorables, les citrons, oranges, limoncello, huile d’olive, œufs de bienvenue étaient parfaits. Le papa de Gerardo est venu nous chercher à la gare et nous y a ramené. Tout s’est déroulé en toute simplicité. De mes heures passées à faire des recherches, je peux dire que le rapport qualité prix est imbattable à Sorrento.

Wonderful apartment with stunning views over the Bay of Naples. The apartment was clean, spacious and very well equipped. A great location with a supermarket a few minutes walk away and only 10 mins walk into the centre of Sorrento. Highly recommended.

My father and I rented this property as a base from which to explore Pompei, Vesuvius, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast — but we would have been happy just staying at this incredible home in Sorrento! In fact, that’s just what we did several nights, making good use of the kitchen and mom’s absolutely incredible olive oil and tomatoes (and oranges and lemons and limoncello...). The terrace is bigger than my apartment and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and the Sorrento hills. There’s also a separate balcony for the master bedroom with the same fabulous vista. The home is within easy walking distance of two supermarkets, a wonderful and inexpensive family-run restaurant, a good takeaway pizza place, and the place to see-and-be-seen, the Corso Italia. We didn’t rent a car — we didn’t need to. The lift and air conditioning were welcome after long, hot days taking in this part of Italy. Gerardo and his parents answered any questions we had, and were incredibly helpful with a pickup from the Circumvesuviana train station and with suggestions of local sites. Stay here — you’ll leave with a million great memories...

This is our second time staying at this condo. The family is so very kind and helpful, from picking us up at the train station to leaving us wonderful treats like homemade tomato sauce (which made lovely sauce for pasta) to fresh oranges and lemons, eggs and homemade limoncello. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the location is just enough out of the noise of the city but close enough to everything, making it the very best place to stay in Sorrento! Hats off to Gerardo and his parents - our stay was outstanding - just like last year!

We loved Sorrento and the Sorrento Penthouse fully met our needs as a family of five. The location was close to everything and was well set up for us.Gerardo's parents were wonderful and welcoming! We sincerely appreciated the ride to and from the train station, the home-made Lemon Cello and the delicious lemons and oranges!!

Gerardo’s apartment is convenient for getting into the town of Sorrento easily. Everything is close to hand. Gerardo’s parents are so gracious; his father collected us at the train station and dropped us off again. His mother makes amazing lemoncello and kindly left us a bottle to enjoy. The views from the veranda are just lovely. We had perfect weather in October and were able to make good use of the outside table and chairs.

Wow, what a view! Bay of Naples and Vesuvius in the distance. Good quiet location with a short walk to the centre of Sorrento. Nice clean apartment. We were lucky to meet their lovely friendly family who left us with their own homemade limoncello! Delicious. Gerardo' s father collected us from the train station and dropped us back to the ferry port. They were so kind and generous.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment with our son for one week on the heels of two weeks in Rome and Florence. The city and the apartment were a different experience altogether. Understandably not as "upscale" as in the bigger cities, it was still very comfortable and clean with a perfect location -- central but just a little away from the busy main streets. What makes this an absolutely fabulous place to stay is the deck --we spent every night out there having a drink and enjoying the view -- and our wonderful hosts -- who provided fresh fruit, tomatoes and Limoncello for us!
