Lucianna's apartment was very comfortable for our six family members. It was very close to the metro station and within walking distance of Vatican City. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was nice and clean. Our host greeted us and gave us tips on transportation and restaurants in the city. She also left a lovely welcome basket with a bottle of wine, water, and snacks.

I stayed in Festina Lente for 8 wonderful days in April with 5 other people. The apartment was very clean, spacious and contained many comforts of home (E.g. TVs, Refrigerator, Microwave, Wi-Fi, Washer, etc). The owner, Luciana, was very friendly and helpful. She met us at the apartment at a predetermined time for a quick and pain free check in process. She provided us with useful information such as maps/brochures of Rome and useful tips to make our visit as efficient and stress free as possible. Luciana remained in contact with us during our stay to assist us if needed. The location is perfect. Within walking distance of Vatican City (appx 8 minutes). The steps to the Metro are located on the corner (less than a minute walk) and there is a bus stop located directly across the street. There are several restaurants, convenience stores, ATM, money exchanges and a 24-hour bakery nearby. I can’t forget to mention there are several Gelato Shops close by, one of which is several doors down. The Colosseum (6.2 km), Trevi Fountain (3.9 km) and the Pantheon (3.8 km) are all 15-30 minutes away depending on time of day/night, route and mode of travel. We traveled to many locations in Rome during the daytime/nighttime and didn’t have any difficulties finding transportation (Metro, Taxi, Uber). The location is great. The apartment is very neat and tidy and is directly across from both Ottiviano train station and bus stops making access to the airport and many areas of Rome easy. Luciana the host is very friendly and accomodating. Our children arrived on the 23rd and Luciana arrived at the apartment to give them the key. We were not arriving until the next day however the children were expected to be out all that day so Luciana kindly meet us at the apartment for our entry. The one thing that could have made the stay perfect would have been softer beds.

Eccellente è dir poco. Casa bellissima, molto grande e pulitissima. Prezzo davvero conveniente. La proprietaria davvero disponibilissima sia prima dell'arrivo che dopo. Residenza situata in un punto strategico, a due passi da San Pietro, a 10 metri dalla metropolitana ed esattamente di fronte alle fermate dei bus (se si deve andare allo stadio Olimpico è il mezzo migliore). Siamo stati tutti soddisfatti e sicuramente quando torneremo a Roma, sarà la nostra scelta. Se dovessi dare un voto potrebbe essere solo il 10 e lode.

Nuestra estadía con mi familia fue muy agradable. Luciana se preocupó de nosostros desde un principio dándonos datos y además de guiándonos por Roma. La ubicación es ideal porque estábamos a 15 minutos caminando del Vaticano, con una estación de metro a 200 metros del departamento que es lo mejor! Lo recomiendo 100%🌟 para ser la primera vez que arriendo por TripAdvisor fue una expericia increíble!👏🏻🇮🇹

abbiamo soggiornato nella suddetta struttura in occasione della pacis half marathon....la posizione del beb è ottima per arrivare a piedi a san pietro, a due passi dalla metro. la nota dolente è la proprietaria che ha preteso 70 euro per una doccia dopo la gara, cosa che non mi è mai successo in tutte le maratone. aver chiesto gentilmente di poter usufruire del bagno per mezz'ora dopo il check out non è bastato,anzi è stato un pretesto per poter guadagnare SOLDI EXTRA..... INOLTRE MI HA RIPETUTAMENTE MINACCIATO DI ESSERE UN TERRORISTA AL TELEFONO.... NON CI TORNO MAI PIU

La casa è esattamente come nella descrizione, nuova, spaziosa e curata e proprio di fronte alla metropolitana e al Vaticano per cui tutti gli spostamenti sono molto semplici e non serve la macchina. Quartiere elegante e ben servito. Proprietaria molto gentile e accogliente che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa nostra. Da tornare.

I stayed at the Festina Lente apartment for 10 days in July and August 2017, with my wife, 19 year-old daughter and 16 year old son. Situated just just 10 mins walk from St Peter's Square and 50m from The Ottaviano metro stop made it a perfect location for visiting the sights of Rome and Vatican City. You can easily walk to many places, such as Castel St Angelo, Piazza Navona and the Trevi fountain and if you're feeling tired, get the Metro back. We even got out of the city to the coast at Ostia in under an hour, using the metro/train networks for just 1.50€ each way. We were met by the owner Luciana, who had kept in regular contact before our visit. She was kind, helpful and very friendly. Luciana showed us around and explained everything we needed to know. She also had the brilliant idea of sharing her WhatsApp details with us so we could keep in touch during our stay. This was particularly useful as we had a couple of queries. She even sent a lovely message on my wife's birthday, which she celebrated while we were there. You will not find a better hostess than Luciana. The apartment was very spacious and extremely comfortable, with modern furniture and appliances and also has an attractive central communal courtyard. We knew Rome would be extremely hot and so specifically sought out an apartment with air conditioning. This was just as well as Heatwave Lucifer hit during our time there and we had daytime temperatures between 36c and 44c. Returning to the apartment was such a relief, having set the timer for the air con to come on before we returned. The well equipped kitchen area had everything you would need and more. There is a well stocked Carrefour supermarket about 5 minutes walk away and many inexpensive but good quality restaurants nearby. Directly below you is Il Ciociaro restaurant which we loved. We planned to go there more but the family went away on holiday themselves! There is an excellent bakery(open 24 hours a day as it supplies the hotels and cafes) and a wonderful gelateria, both less than a minutes walk away. To sum up, this is an excellent apartment in a perfect location for anyone wanting to visit Rome. We plan to return ourselves in the future. Thanks to Luciana for sharing this beautiful place with us.
