The place was unbelieveble, just by Spagna, you could see almost everything by eveyday walks, We enjoyed the appartement. The owners are kind and helpful!

Appartamento a due passi da Piazza di Spagna, scelto per il nostro breve soggiorno a Roma in da famiglia con due bambini piccoli (3 e 6 anni). Accoglienza ottima da parte dei proprietari, molto cortesi a consentirci il check-out nel tardo pomeriggio per evitare di portarci appresso le valigie nell'ultimo giorno di permanenza. Se non si disdegnano due passi a piedi, la posizione centrale consente di non dover ricorrere ai mezzi pubblici per gli spostamenti. Lo consigliamo!!!

The apartment is ideally located close to all the main attractions. It was great being able to stroll to the Trevi Fountain in the evenings for a spot of people watching. It was also possible to walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, the Pantheon and the Vatican. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. It could get noisy at times - one of the double glazed windows did not seem to be sealed properly, which made this worse. The apartment is well equipped although the kettle didn't work properly and we could have done with more glasses. The shower was excellent. The system for recycling and rubbish collection was slightly eccentric and not really suited to tourist rentals - you had to put different types of rubbish out on different days and the glass bin got very full. There was nowhere to put out general waste on the last day as it was the wrong day for putting it out! However, these are very small criticisms and overall we were very pleased with our stay.

Pluses – helpful proprietor; proximity to metro station, shops, sights, and eateries; comfortable, self-sufficient, and clean apartment. Minus – no elevator. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this nice one bedroom apartment one block away from the Spanish Steps. We were delayed at FCO getting to the apartment, but Anna and Carlo waited for us. Upon check-in, Carlo methodically and patiently went through all the particulars about the apartment, even though they are also contained in a multi-language red binder. One cannot ask for a better location for a vacation apartment. It is walking distance to Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Navona Piazza (we like to walk). The Metro (line A) is only about 5 minutes away. Being close to Spanish Steps got noisy at times, but with the shutters closed, the apartment became our sanctuary after each hectic day of shopping, sight-seeing, or exploring. Notes – (1) There are about 50 stair steps to the second level apartment, which may not agree with heavy and bulky luggage. (2) The sofa bed in the living room can be converted into a second queen size bed. (3) TV does not have HDMI or other external input. (4) Supermarket is about 5-10 minutes away, depending on pace. (5) Transportation to FCO: option (a) Metro A from Spagna to Roma Termini (1.50 Euro) and Leonardo da Vinci airport express train to FCO (14.00 Euro); option (b) taxi (48 Euro).

La situación del apartamento era ideal, a mi esa zona me gusto mucho y esta a menos de 300 de parada de metro de plaza España. La cocina estaba bien equipada.

Great apartment in the heart of Rome very close to all the things you go visit when in Rome or else not too far by walking distance. Right next by a subway station too. Apartment was very clean and nice, exactly what you look for when you are a city like this and when you are out visiting a lot. Price was superb and its way better then renting a hotel! Owner was very welcoming and heartwarming even if I arrived not really on scheduled (sorry for hat again). I TOTALLY RECOMMEND CASA LAVINIA!!

Ma femme, ma petite fille et moi avons passé un excellent séjour à Rome. L'appartement est idéalement placé à côté de la place d'Espagne, de Trevi. .. Nous sommes à 15 min des forums impériaux et 25 min du Colisee. L'appartement a toutes les commodités nécessaire et très important la climatisation. Il est situé à côté d'un supermarché. Jetez vous dessus sans hésiter. De très bons moments en perspective. (Les propriétaires sont très disponibles et ils parlent Français ).

Glad we chose to stay at the Spanish Steps. Thats where this property is located. We arrived after dark like at 9pm. Though the street where the apartment is located is not accessible by taxi, the taxi stand was just 50 metres away. Streets in that area are safe and brightly lit-up. Apartment is in a secured.building. Cafes and restaurants were open when we arrived. Host Anna's husband was there waiting at the apartment to show us the going-about, etc. Checking out was just as easy. informative folder in apartment for us to orientate to the apartment and surrounding. Beds were comfortable including the sofa bed which my teenage daughter slept on. As a one-bedroom apartment, bedroom was comfortable. The kitchen/living area where the sofa bed is, would be small if one has to sleep and also cook there. Anyway, who would want to cook in Rome? Restaurants everywhere. Very comfortable for two occupants but still ok for 3 adults or two adults and 2 children. The underground Metro and the Spanish Steps is less then 5 mins walk away. One can also walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. If you have young children, just be careful when you exit the building as there is no pavement and cars (though restricted on that street) just drive by in front of you. I observed that such narrow street layout is quite common in the city of Rome anyway. Wifi was good speed too. Apartment is on 2nd floor and no lift, so not recommended for people with mobility challenges. Anna and family was very clear and helpful throughout from the moment we booked and till we left, answering our queries, sms/email

Gentilissimi e premurosi i proprietari. Nella casa tutto è ben posizionato e pulito abbiamo trovato sale caffè olio zucchero cacao e asciugacapelli. Le dimensioni non sono enormi ma si sta bene in 4 con bambini piccoli. La posizione è ottima a due passi da tutto. Abbiamo preso solo due taxi per andare e tornare in comodità. Il market oggi coop è veramente a due passi ed è fornita di tutto, ha anche il pesce. Nota negativa sono le scale molto alte che però si sentono solo con le valige. Un poco rumorosa la camera da letto ma è ovvio se si vuole stare al centro. Perfetto il riscaldamento ed il wifi. Torneremo sicuramente
