It is a few steps from the water, convenient to the railway and a great village to stay in for Cinque Terre!
We hand a lovely four night stay in the fisherman's hut. Riomaggiore is the pick of the villages to stay in, I think. And the apartment was great. Easy access from the train station and close to the Main Street, which is very small. Two Coop supermarkets with stated prices and another grocery store where the shop keeperseemed to make up random prices for a few pieces of fruit. Only went to that shop once...
The apartment was difficult to heat - reverse cycle a/c going at 25 degrees C the whole time, but we were there in mid march. And it was cool at night. It would likely be nice in summer.
There were two flights of steep stairs inside the apartment and the shower was in a bath with a very low ceiling - was a squatting affair! Could be tricky for some people.
We enjoyed our time in Cinque Terre and recommend this apartment. We spanned a weekend which was very busy but the mid week time was quieter. Ferries were not running till April, but the trails that are open, particularly from Manorola to Corniglia was fabulous with amazing views going north.
We will be inPerugua for a couple of weeks and thinkse will do a day trip by rail to Genova, then get a ferry to see Cinque Terre from the sea, then back from La Spexia to Perugia.
My recommendation? Mid week, early April when the ferries start up.

Fantastic location and very homely
Lovely homely and very spacious apartment only 2 minutes from the harbour and train station. All amenities. Lovely friendly welcome and lots of information to help us with our stay including best restaurant and fish n chip shop. Recommend to all.

Amazing location and very nice stay!
Super stay as we spent there our 3 amazing days & nights during our wedding in Riomaggiore :)
Giacomo and His wife are such a good and friendly people! When we meet straight away we feel like we know each other from ages.
This 2 floor flat is very, very nice and comfy - perfect for stay for a couple or family. Kitchen with all You need to cook, clean and tidy bathroom & living room, comfy bed :)
Just few steps from sea. Localisation is perfect!
Definitely we will come back to celebrate our wedding anniversary :)

Awesome location!!
We stayed at Giacomo's Fisherman Hut for three nights just last week. The pluses: great location and easy access from the train station (which in a town like Riomaggiore with million steps was most welcome. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Well-stocked kitchen.
Minuses: No AC, just fans. No laundry machine (there is a coin laundry a few steps up the way).
Also, if you are tall, like my husband, you may have a hard time having a shower there. It is a sitting tub.
I guess I did not read the fine print closely enough, which stated there is a 70 euro cleaning fee.
Giacomo was very kind and brought us some awesome pastries.

Quaint and good location
Great location....you don't have to cart your luggage up any hills, only a few steps as it's just off the main street so everything is close.
The apartment is cute. It is over two floors, living on the first floor and bed room and shower on the second.
Only downside to fisherman's hut is the hot water....there isn't much of it. It makes for a quick wash for one. And anyone else wanting a shower will have to wait for it to heat backup.

Schöne Wohnung in guter Lage
Das FishermansHut liegt in einer Seitengasse am unteren Ende der Via Colombo. Die beiden Etagen sind mit einer offenen Treppe ohne Geländer verbunden. Das Bad ist klein und schräg mit einer Sitzbadewanne, für grosse Menschen nicht geeignet. Die Wohnung ist sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Gasherd. Jetzt im Mai war es in der Wohnung kühl; es gibt keine Heizung. Der Besitzer hat uns freundlich empfangen und alles erklärt. Es gab auch eine Flasche Wein und Käsewürfel.

Mejor imposible
El departamento es tal cual se muestra en las fotos. Muy lindo, limpio y ordenado. No le falta nada, muy equipado. Giacomo siempre fue muy atento.

great except for three things
We found this a great place to stay and basically enjoyed our time there. Three hesitations. 1. the instructions how to find it were not clear and we had to ring the contact lady who was very good and came to look for us; 2. the shower/bath ran cold after 1 use, even after waiting >1 hour for the 2nd, and required contortions to use it; 3. the fact we had to pay a 70 euro cleaning fee was not made clear enough when we booked, although we did find it in the fine print
