Great place to stay
The apartment is in a nice neighbourhood with both restaurants and supermarket very close by and the San Toma vaporetto stop is a few mins walk.
The apartment is spacious, clean and well set up and is very secure.
Filippo is a good host advising us on the travel from the airport and checked in with us during our stay, we would hope to return and stay again next year.

Excellent location
This charming apartment is in a excellent location. Just across canal from Santa Maria Glorisa dei Frari, one of my favorite Basilicas in Venice It is just around the corner from Scuola Grande di San Rocco and Leonardo Da Vinci’s museum. Walking distance to Rialto and St Marks square yet away enough from large crowds.
We were kindly greeted by Franco with a excellent bottle of wine who assisted us in settling in for two weeks.
The home has beautiful views and is very nicely appointed. Large for a Venice flat with a wonderful kitchen.
We very much enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return on our next trip to Venice.

A great apartment in a great location in a fairytale city.
This tastefully decorated apartment is right on a canal and looks out at the historic Basilica dei Frari and has several cafes/bars right at the front door.
The apartment is very comfortable and spacious and in an excellent location if you like exploring on foot or by ferry.
Venice is a fascinating city and this apartment is in a great location from which to see it.

Great location, comfortable, warm appartment
This is a well appointed appartment in a peaceful part of Venice but still close to all the main sites. It has all you need for a comfortable stay with good restaurants nearby.
We would recommend it for couples.

Very comfortable apartment in San Polo
This apartment is great.! Very convenient location and easy to access from the San Toma Vaparetto stop (#1 or #2) and walkable to/from the train station, San Marco, Rialto Bridge, Fondamenta Nova with supermarkets and good restaurants within a few steps. The apartment is nicely furnished, excellent security, a comfortable kitchen, lots of storage and hangers (my pet peeve) for clothing and travel gear. The beds were hard but surprisingly comfortable for these two senior travelers with hip issues.
We were welcomed by Franco and settled into the San Polo neighborhood. The apartment is on the second floor (Floor 1 in Europe), but the stairs are easy and you only have to lug your suitcases up there once. The apartment is perfectly located for a lovely mix of both neighborhood and tourist activity.
We arrived two days after severe flooding from high winds, rain and very high tide but there were no issues with access to the apartment or the surrounding amenities. The owner, Filippo was kind enough to provide me with tide tables, so I could see when there might be more flooding. It was a comfort to know the times, but we really never had any problems. This was our 3rd visit to Venice and we will definitely be back.

Very pleasant stay in Venice
This apartment was definitely a home away from home in Venice. It is located at the San Polo district and it’s quite walkable to San Marco Square (25 minutes) where most of the actions are. There are a lot to see on the way to the Square so it’s not a boring walk either.
We arrived in Venice by train and the apartment is no more than 15 minutes walk from the station. However it’s quite challenging carrying our fairly large luggages up and down 5 bridges. If you are only bringing carry-on size luggages there should be no problem. The directions the owner provided was spot on and it was very easy to navigate.
The apartment is very nice, truly a home away from home. It’s very clean, comfortable and roomy. It’s nice to get out of hotel rooms and have space for everyone. It’s directly across the Frari Carhedral and a piazza so there are definitely human traffic there. Closing the windows and shutters did block out most of the noise. There is a supermarket around the corner with everything we needed. The fish and vegetable outdoor market is not far either - it had really fresh local produce and seafood.
It’s handy to have a washing machine in the apartment. It also have a pretty clever system of clothing lines in the bathroom. I did a couple loads of laundry (bring your own soap) and the clothes dried in a day. I only prepared breakfast and the kitchen had everything I needed.
The beds were comfy. The bathroom is stocked with body wash, shampoo and body lotion.
We had an issue with the AC on the day of arrival. I waited overnight to see if it would reset itself. I emailed the owner the next morning and he was very responsive. By the time we returned to the apartment in the afternoon the key holder (Mr. Franco) was with the AC technician fixing the AC unit. Mr. Franco is the key holder and he was very kind.
We enjoyed our stay at the Al Fogher apartment and would definitely recommend it to our friends. Venice is a very special place and it’s wonderful to have a such a comfortable home base after exploring this amazing city.

Great apartment
This apartment was modern, clean and very central, near the Promenade. Would highly recommend this but ask for directions as it is hard to find.

Al Fogher
Being an older much travelled client I was looking for an apartment with
comfort, convenience, character and
good location in Venice. AI Fogher
offered all of these and we felt
privileged to stay in such a well
appointed apartment on Campo dei
Frari where we could observe both
Venitians and tourists going about
their business. There are many artisan shops and good eateries in the vacinity and delightful walks in many directions. Access to all places of interest in Venice is very easy from this apartment. I can highly
recommend AI Fogher for a delightful
stay in Venice.
