Great apartment, magnificent location, wonderful attentive host, atmosphere and ambience perfect. We will go back for longer. Peace when you need it and excitement everywhere.

Spacious and well furnished 2 bedroom (+2 shower room) apartment in a great location overlooking small harbour on Ortigia (the old + pretty part of Siracusa). Also has decent lounge, a couple of small balconies (late afternoon sun if you fancy a sundowner, but mainly used by us to watch the cruise ships/superyachts departing in late evening) and a kitchen. Owner + assistants v helpful. Walking distance to all main sights (except archeological park, which is away from main tourist area, but, together with the museum, well worth a visit) and lots of nice restaurants (the ones on Via Roma + Via Cavour seemed to be better than the ones on the coast, although the latter have the view). In addition to the usual sights, try the food market in the mornings and, if you are mobile, a trip to Noto. On 3rd level + access via (good + well lit) stairs which could be an issue for those with mobility problems (but no problem for us two 60 year olds), otherwise no negatives to report.

An immaculate and impeccably presented apartment in an ideal location for a stay in Ortigia, just over the bridge with magnificent views across to Syracuse, the bay and the docks. Two good double bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a very comfortable salon and a well equipped kitchen, well stocked with incidentals, condiments, dishwasher tablets, etc etc. In a nice, safe building in a well lit street. Yes, it is on the second floor, up two flights of stairs, but once our luggage was up, we hardly noticed - well worth the climb.

We really enjoyed our visit to Ortigia and the flat was in a wonderful situation. Best views in town. Some negatives were that there were over 60 steps up to the flat which was fine for us but may be a problem for some people. There was a shortage of power points in the kitchen i.e. one. The power point in question was loose from the wall and could have been a hazard. Parking is very restricted and we made the decision to pay for a weeks parking about 5 mins away which Robi kindly arranged for us. 30 Euros was better than a parking ticket. Ortigia is a wonderful historical place to visit with lots of affordable restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed our time in Sicily and visited Noto ,Ragusa and Agrigento where we spent a memorable night at the Villa Athena.

Lovely place and ideal flat looking over the sea and the harbour. Everything you might want within 15 minutes walk and 25 minutes to the Parco archaeological. Clean. Comfortable and warm

Roberts's apartment is great. Excellent position, well presented and clean . Spacious ... and good wi fi. Loved our afternoon drinks on the balcony. She helped us with some admin problems and was a great hostess. Recommended.

This cool and spacious flat is really well located. The front overlooks the entrance to the harbour and the bridges which link Ortigia and Siracusa. You can enjoy breakfast on the balcony of in the morning sunshine. It's but a ten minute walk to Via Cavour , with its bars and restaurants, and to the Piazza del Duomo. The lively market is just 5 minutes away.On the other hand a brisk 20 minute walk takes you to the railway station, whilst the highly interesting archeological park is 15 minutes further away. The flat is well equipped, though the kitchen doesn't have a standard oven. Roberta, the manager, was very helpful, for example arranging a week's parking at nearby Talete and making some excellent recommendations for drinking and dining. We weren't disturbed by external noise though we could hear the TV ins neighbouring flat. Bear in mind that the flat is on the second floor-you have 64 steps to negotiate with your luggage. Currently there's no access to lighting when going downstairs in evening; our torch came in very useful.

My husband and I loved everything about this beautiful flat. It was spacious and peaceful with the gorgeous original terrazzo floors! Bathrooms were sleek and modern and bedrooms were so comfortable. The two wonderful balconies provided us many hours of joy and beauty of the amazing water and street views! Breakfast tea to evening wine was perfect on these balconies. The Ortigia market was a treat for the senses and we visited often to cook fresh seafood and produce for dinners. Everything was nearby and we hated to leave our lovely temporary home. Roberta was kind and helpful and she arranged such a nice gentleman, Enzo, to meet us very early in the morning to catch our plane. He was prompt and helped with our cases down all the stairs. The beauty of this building and the flat can't be shown by photos. It's outstanding! Ortigia was a delight for the senses. We would love to stay there again.

The apartment is lovely, light and airy with great views over the quayside and marina. A short walk from the excellent market. Large elegant rooms make for a relaxed atmosphere. Good showers (no bath), and just enough kitchen equipment to make a trip to the market exciting and worthwhile. It is on the second floor so not really suitable for elderly people. Roberta went out of her way to help with any information we needed very promptly and we felt that she wanted us to enjoy our stay..

We are spending 2 weeks in Darsena flat. The apartment is very well managed by Roberta who met us on arrival and who has been available to deal with any issues we have. Roberta gave us great advice about local restaurants and places to buy food and other supplies. The apartment is well located just metres from the Grand Hotel and positioned on the waterfront. There are excellent restaurants nearby and the Ortigia market is a five minute walk from the apartment. The market buzzes with life and is a great place to buy provisions, have snacks or a meal. Darsena Flat is light and bright and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is mall but functional and the bedrooms and living room are large and well proportioned. There is plenty of hot water and a spacious shower recess in the en suite bathroom; a luxury in many hotels and rentals in Italy. The beds and furniture are comfortable and there is plenty of storage for clothes and luggage.
