Located in a rural setting but with good access to Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Buses run on time which was good as we didn't hire a car. Plenty of walks locally as the area is mountainous. The property has a nice private pool and relaxing outdoor areas. The Farmhouse is pleasant without being particularly modern but it serves the purpose. There are some bars and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The owners Lucy And Clive are very friendly and helpful which is important when staying slightly off the beaten track.

We had such a stunning holiday at Colle Farmhouse. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our two week stay. It's situated perfectly for visits to Pisa, Florence and Lucca and the pool made our stay even more perfect with the kids able to come and go as they wanted. Clive and Lucy are relaxed, warm hosts and we'd definitely visit again. So much more to explore!

The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need. A great private garden and fantastic swimming pool with great views. Communication with Lucy was easy. There is a good restaurant in walking distance and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. The apartment is well placed to visit Lucca, Pisa and Florence. We had a beautiful short stay in Tuscany in this stunning house. Lucy and Clive and their family were the most welcoming and helpful hosts. Had great times enjoying the pool and exploring the surrounding area. The property was immaculate and well equipped for our stay.

We had a fantastic holiday in this quiet spot in Tuscany. Lucy and Clive were brilliant at providing local knowledge that helped us plan our days out exploring Lucca, Vinci, Florence, Pisa, the beach. Lucy arranged for me to hire a bike from the local bike hire shop. Great bike was dropped off and collected from the apartment. The pool area is great and the local summer events were classically Italian which we all enjoyed, particularly the profiterole festival in Orentano. This is a great location to explore lots of interesting places and the apartment was very clean with everything you need to self cater. We will definitely be returning soon.

We had such a beautiful stay at Colle Farmhouse Village apartment. Awesome Mountain View and a quiet peaceful place, with big bed room and spacious living area. Very clean and comfortable. Lucy and Clive is the best hosts ever. Both are always happy to help in anyway we need to. This is just the right place to relax and chill. And also just a short ride to Lucca.

If you’re looking for a really relaxed holiday with some perfect sun then this is the place to go, with a swimming pool a a friendly family and neighbourhood this is the perfect trip for friends and family, had the best week away when we came to the house thank you very much to Clive and Lucy for having us :)

It has been a few years since we last visited this area and stayed at Colle. It was idyllic before in the stunning rural setting - a million miles from our family’s everyday experience. However, despite it being great before, we were very impressed with the changes and developments the owners have made to the apartment, the apartment’s private garden and of course the new swimming pool - this was a game changer for our children!! I heartily recommend this area of Italy as a ‘must experience’ for Italy lovers and can also endorse this apartment as an ideal base to either relax in the wonderful environment or use as a base to take trips out to the many places to see/experience within easy distance. Well done to the owners, Clive and Lucy, for obviously thinking about their customers and investing in making our holidays even better than they have been in the past.

I have stayed with Lucy and Clive three times now and every time has been a delight. Both are informative and happy to help wherever possible. The apartment is lovely, quaint and exactly how you would imagine an Italian farmhouse to be. With plenty of space and clean as can be. Located right in the mountains, there are plenty of scenic walks to do, but it is also just a short bus journey to Lucca. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy Tuscany, look no further.

I have visited this property 3 times now in the last 4 years and I couldn’t recommend anywhere else to stay in the area. The scenery is truly breath taking and feels open yet with a sense of privacy. The apartment is lovely and perfect for 2 all the way to 4 people. The recent addition, the pool, is fantastic and just what you need on a hot day to cool off. Lucca is just a 20 minute drive away and Florence about a 30 minute to 45 minute drive away. The main perk of this place is that the Woollard family are wonderful. They are polite, kind and caring. You will not want to spend your time anywhere else.
