Highly recommended. Really nice and clean room. Great location within walking distance to nearly every attraction. Landlord (Andre) was really nice and helpful. Definitely will be returning back.

La ubicación es muy buena. Un poco alejada de Dam Square, pero pegado a los anillos de canales que es lo mas lindo de Amsterdam para mi. La experiencia del departamento es muy buena: vivir como vive un local en Amsterdam. Lo recomiendo mucho. Ojo que no hay ascensor y las escaleras son muy inclinadas y finitas (típico de las casas en Amsterdam).

Originally we were going to book a hotel room for our stay in Amsterdam. However, we decided to try renting an apartment instead. And that was a good decision since I don’t think it’s possible to have a more pleasant stay in a hotel room. Inez and André were very nice and helpful when we arrived to pick up the keys. We arrived a little earlier then the time we mentioned but it wasn’t a problem. André showed us the apartment and suggested places to visit as well as some good nearby restaurants. We stayed in an apartment that I think is on the second floor but is really only one and a half story above ground level. This isn’t the apartment that is shown in the pictures here. Perhaps that one is one floor up. And as other reviewers have mentioned, the staircase is steep. But unless you have trouble climbing stairs and/or traveled with really large and heavy luggage, it shouldn’t be a problem. The apartment is very clean and is bigger than a standard hotel room, with wood flooring. It is divided into two main rooms, one with the beds (and also a small table, two chairs, a dresser, and a flat screen tv mounted to the wall) and the other contains the bathtub, two sinks, and a medium size fridge. Beside these two rooms, there are also a small room where the toilet is (which is a tight squeeze) and a kitchenette area that has a microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, plates/cups/ utensils, etc. There are also coffee, tea, cream, and sugar available. As well as soap and shampoo and plenty of clean towels. The WiFi was fast. The location is great. We love the neighborhood. A charming and quiet location away from the more touristy places, but close enough to walk to everywhere. There are many nice restaurants nearby and a grocery store about 2.5 blocks away. Getting to/from the airport is easy with the direct airport bus 197 stop about 2 blocks away. I should also point out that the floor in our apartment is not straight. That is, it is slanted so that one side is slightly higher than the other. So in effect you will be walking up a slight slope from one side of the room to the other. When you walk around Amsterdam (or have seen pictures of houses in Amsterdam) , you will notice many of the houses are slanted (and to me quite cool). And now I know what it’s like to live in one of those houses! I haven’t stay in a hotel in Amsterdam so I don’t know if you can get the same experience. Overall I highly recommend staying here. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

El apartamento está situado en muy buena zona, cerca de Voldempark, y algunas zonas más de interés, como Liedseplein. Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable y el dueño os deja una carpeta con recomendaciones para visitar, restaurantes, etc. La recomiendo 100%, te sientes como en casa.

La casa corrisponde esattamente alla descrizione. Essenziale e pulita. La posizione è ottima, perchè pur essendo molto vicino al centro storico (non è stato necessario utilizzare i mezzi pubblici, abbiamo girato la città a piedi) ed alle piazze dei bar notturni è molto silenziosa, tranquilla, pulita. Quasi sotto casa vi è un bar delizioso in cui fare colazione, un supermecato e diversi ristorantini economici e di qualità in cui mangiare. Andrè è stato molto gentile e disponibile, abbiamo molto apprezzato il fatto che abbia acceso per noi i riscaldamenti, anche se in pieno Agosto,

A good place on the quiet street yet close to everything (10 min. walk to Voldenpark and from their to museums, about 25 minutes walk or 7 tram stops to Central Station, a little less to the Dam Square, 2.5 blocks from the bus station with direct bus connection to the airport). The apartment is in the mansard (which is really the 4th floor). The stairs looked intimidating at first (Andre must know this, he didn't let us carry out suitcases upstairs, he insisted on doing it himself which we really appreciated) but in a couple of days you get used to them so they become "part of experience". Once you are upstairs, it's a pretty spacious room (better than most hotel rooms) with the high vaulted ceiling and large window (that opens), beds, a small flat screen TV, a large dresser a table with chairs; there is a bathroom with shower and a little "kitchenette" with tiny fridge, sink, microwave, coffeemaker, electric kettle and some plates, cups and silverware - not enough to prepare a family dinner (who would be doing that on vacation?) but enough to put together a quick breakfast (a supermarket is 2 blocks away). Andre was very helpful, the notes that he left on the table (his favorite restaurants, markets and stores, places to see, small towns to go, transportation and museum tips and a few maps) were just as helpful in planning our time and finding our ways around town as this was our first visit to Amsterdam. So, overall, a very good value in the very good location - if, of course, you don't mind the stairs.

This apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for a one-week stay in Amsterdam. André provided very good advice on nearby restaurants and sights. He also helped us find the best deal on museum admission. He was also helpful to find a safe spot for my bicycle. This was a great location to get to Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank house, and other sites. We stayed on the third floor which has no elevator but for us the stairs were expected.

El dpto. es chiquito pero muy lindo!! Tiene todo lo necesario para una buena estadía: microondas, cafetera y heladera. Nosotros aprovechamos para desayunar y cenar ahí. Como alquilamos bici a la vuelta, si bien no esta cerca de la Plaza Dam (centro) no fue problema porque en la bici llegas a cualquier lugar en minutos! Muy servicial el propietario, nos dejaron una carpetita con mapas y recomendaciones para nuestra estadía. Lo único incómodo fue la escalera de acceso, pero por lo que nos dijeron es imposible evitarlas en Amsterdam je
