Location, location, location!
We stayed here for 4 weeks in Feb/Mar 2023. The apartment is everything it was advertised to be. The location is excellent, 24 hour security, a short walk to the beach, marina, old town, shops etc. Fantastic views from both balconies overlooking the sea. The new 4 mile boardwalk along the beach is wonderful. Sunrises are amazing. Very well-equipped spacious apartment. The owner was quick to react to our needs. The BBQ was broken. When we contacted the owner, a new BBQ was installed the next day. We rented a car, and the secure underground parking was a bonus. While the apartment needs some minor updating, the location and conveniences more than make up for it.

" Fantasticas vacaciones en familia "
Ha sido una estancía increible!!! Hemos podido disfrutar de las maravillosas calas de la zona. Las playas son estupendas y la piscina muy bonita y agradable. Hemos tenido la oportunidad, de acabar cada uno de los dias con un baño refrescante en la piscina de la urbanización, antes de subir a cenar en la terraza. Hemos disfrutado de la barbacoa preparando estupendas cenas, disfrutando de las marabillosas vistas de la ciudad de lagos. Una maravilla. Intentaremos repetir la experiencia. Muchas gracias por todo.

Well-equipped spacious apartment in great location
Apartment is just a short walk to the long sandy beach at Meia Praia and close to the train station, marina, old town and a good supermarket. The choice of two balconies and ample living space provided more than enough room for our group of two adults and two teens to stay comfortably. The complex is well kept and secure. Lagos is lovely, the people are very friendly, and there's a great choice of places to eat. We'd definitely like to return.

Fabulous apartment in a great location.
The location is amazing, a short hop to the beach, marina, old town, shops etc. Fantastic view from both balconies overlooking the sea. Very well equipped spacious apartment. Would definitely recommend this apartment. We will stay here again. Bernard

Home from home
The apartment/condo is in excellent condition, very well equipped and with great views. The only noise we had were the waves crashing on the beach at night. There are two balconies, a small one at the side of bedroom, which is lovely for breakfast, and a larger one off the lounge with the sun all day. The views are of the beach and down the coast and the town. It is just minutes to walk to the Marina and town, the train and bus station are also on the doorstep.The wifi is good and there are English channels on the TV, complex is clean and secure with a lift to all floors, if you have a car there is secure underground parking. There is good communication with Carl the owner, we would not hesitate to recommend this home from home. The beach at the side of the apartment is minutes walk and a huge sandy stretch. We were on a 10 week winter rental - reluctantly due to the coronavirus pandemic and flights being cancelled, had to leave a week early. Found Lagos to be a friendly large town with plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. We found a little English bar called 'The Star' which had themed nights and very popular, we particuarly liked quiz + rock nights. Bob & Carole Staffordshire UK

Fabulous holiday in Lagos
We had a great holiday in this spacious 2 bed apartment which was well equipped and in a fantastic location. The apartment is situated on a complex with two lovely clean pools, snack bar/ restaurant, mini golf and 24 hour security staffed by friendly, helpful people. The apartment is a short walk from the beach, marina and centre of town where there are lots of restaurants, bars, shops and activities to suit all ages. Carl, our host was great - he provided us with lots of information to ensure we had a great holiday- we hope to return!

Four star prices, two star standards
A dated, tired & jaded property Intermittent hot water, pilot light on boiler kept going out. Kettle, microwave & toaster only worked if a kitchen light was on (as per one of the many countless notes on the wall) Air conditioning could not be used at night in one of the rooms due to the noise levels Towels provided were old & shabby Balcony furniture was old, rusty & torn Washing machine did not work, (door removed by a repair man who never returned) Dishwasher worked once during our stay No hairdryer. The pool area was good, as was the on site restaurant. (We moved from the property due safety concerns regarding smell of gas from the boiler as well soot around pilot light vent hole).

This review has been challenged as it is a mischievous review by someone making up false narratives. Guests can check other reviews in this site by real guests that booked through TripAdvisor to come to their own conclusions. The apartment has been recently inspected by the city gas inspections office checking on gas smell and to see if there is gas leakage and the inspector gave it clean bill of health. No gas leakage and no smell of gas. We have a certificate to prove it. This review should be completely disregarded.

Lagos stay
Our Condo was a bit dated. Beds were so uncomfortable and pillows were very uncomfortable as well. Sheets were like sandpaper. But the condo pool was nice and the condo was fine as we were not there much. But would have appreciated a better sleep as we were so tired after walking so much. Condo is a bit far from the beaches if your are older or have really young children. Front desk staff rude, impatient and sarcastic with us. He even rolled his eyeballs at us. We might have atested at the restaurant but the man who runs it was rude to us as well do we did not eat there. Probably would not stay here again. We would stay a little closer to the beaches near the cliffs.

We apologize and will take your comments into consideration in improving our condo. It must have been an exceptionally bad period for everyone at the condo to be so rude to a guest. Front desk staff have always been complimented by everyone who stayed at the condo as being very helpful and polite. As far as the comment about the beach I believe it is not a fair comment. Photos of our condo on this site show the exact distance from the condo to the longest and most beautiful sandy beach in Algarve, less than a 10-min-walk away. It is true that the beach has no cliffs.

A STAY THOROUGHLY ENJOYED
This apartment is ideally placed within easy walking distance of the beach, Lagos Marina and a well equipped supermarket. If a car is used there is secure, allocated underground parking. Lift access to the third floor was excellent.The apartment is large and comfortable with two balconies which allow sitting in the sun from dawn to dusk, if required, with a view of the sea. Instructions were provided on how to relight the boiler pilot light, open the washer door etc. etc. but in reality everything worked well and perhaps Carl ought to add the dishwasher and washing machine to the list of amenities. Any post booking enquiries we had were answered accurately, promptly and helpfully by Carl and I would thank him for that. We would be happy to book this apartment again and would recommend it to others.
