The Apartment is beautiful, modern and has everything you could possibly need, and it's certainly a lot bigger than I expected. Great location, 5 mins to the Marina, which has lovely bars and restaurants. A further 5 minutes or so to the old town which is full of bars and restaurants. The nearest beach is absolutely beautiful, this is where we preferred to be, the Bahia beach bar is excellent, great food and service and live music nights. Boat trips/kayaking you can just pick up from the Marina, worth doing.

Excellent !!!!
Appartement très agréable et fonctionnel qui était au delà de nos attentes. L'hôte Robert est à l'écoute et soucieux du bien être des locataires. Quant à Mieke, elle est exceptionnelle également. Beaucoup de choses à voir et faire autour de l'appartement sans prendre la voiture et commerces à proximité également. Je recommande a 200% et si nous revenons à Lagos ça sera sans hésiter ici 😍

Highly recommend
I wont bore anyone by repeating all the positivies from the previous reviews - Location, amenities, comfort, cleanliness, quality etc etc etc. The photos do not do it justice, the longer we spent there (2 weeks) it felt more and more like home from home, really comfortable. And Robert's communication to all our queries/requests was excellent. I would book again in a heartbeat.

Apartment Review
This was our second stay at this beautiful apartment. Having stayed there two years previous we wanted to return. The Covid pandemic made us extremely nervous and we did in fact cancel but Rob contacted us to say that everything was opening up and that it was extremely safe, we then decided to go ahead and rebook. Rob could not have been more helpful sending us all the information needed for us to travel, sending links for all the relevant paperwork and tests needed for us to holiday in Lagos. The apartment is fantastic extremely spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It really is home from home, it is very well equipped and includes a dishwasher and washing machine. There is a fabulous terrace with seating perfect for having that glass of wine or a cold beer. The pool was well maintained you could always get a sun bed and the sun bed mats supplied by the apartment were a god send. Lagos Marina is well worth the short walk from the apartment with plenty of bars and restaurants for you to visit, the Marina Bar serves an exceptional good beer. The Oasis Bar serving the best bacon buttie with proper HP sauce. The restaurant just over the marina bridge serves fantastic fish (cant rember the name of it sorry) well worth waiting for a table. We had a wonderful time in Lagos and hope to return in future, once again we will try to book Rob's apartment, couldn't recommend it enough. Once again a big thank you to Rob and his apartment for making our holiday.

Perfect rental / great location.
First time to Lagos and once we found our way around, really liked the old town and soon became familiar with it. The apartment is in a great location with a short walk to the marina / supermarket / beach and leasurely stroll to the old town. Apartment has all amenities you could ask for and is very comfortable. This is not for you tho if it's a view you are looking for, the apartment is part of a new development which is superbly looked after and the pool area is the best we've ever used with plenty of beds/umbrellas, toilet facilities and a book exchange too!

Wonderful Holiday at the Marina
Home from an amazing 2 week holiday. Highly recommend.
5 minutes from the marina which we loved and offered a good range of restaurants. A further 10-15 minute walk to the beach and the town of Lagos. Everything you could need. Beaches are lovely too.
Modern Apartment with everything you need, very spacious, modern appliances and UK tv and wi-fi. Even nicer than the photos suggest. Nice pool too although we only used it twice as we were so busy exploring the whole area!
We hired a car although it’s not essential.
We would definitely recommend; dolphin boat trip, kayaking through the caves, driving to the top of Monchique mountain (not as bad as sounds, great roads) Cape St.Vincent for the views, Lagos Zoo and Slide and Splash.
First time in Lagos and will definitely be back. If you do need to take a covid antigen test to return home, the good news is there is a testing station on the marina, this definitely took some of the stress away.

Beautiful spacious apartment in great location
We spent a week in this wonderful
apartment in August. It’s beautifully presented inside and has a huge balcony which is great for relaxing on. It’s kitted out with everything you need and the owners Rob & Ally are great hosts.
The shared pool is very well maintained and indeed with current times sun-beds were sanitised after use. Pleasingly there is no reserving of them and everyone seemed to follow this rule.
The location of the apartment is great - very close to everything you need including the marina and the old town - which is really charming and full of great restaurants - and a short walk to the beautiful Meia Praia beach. We were only here a week so opted to not hire a car but used Yellowfish transfers (recommended, and indeed they were brilliant). A boat trip to the caves is a must - beautiful. First time to Lagos, and we’ll be back!

Perfect apartment and perfect location
We have just arrived back from our holiday, we had a wonderful stay; The apartment is absolutely perfect it is stunning, spotless, and so spacious.
As a family of 4 there was so much space and decorated and accessorised to a very high spec, I loved the kitchen especially with a dishwasher and huge fridge freezer. The master bedroom is massive with 2 big fitted wardrobes and a beautiful en-suite with a bath and shower, and the the most comfy king size bed!! The 2nd bedroom is a big room too plenty of room for our daughters, the air conditioning is brilliant and so quiet. Lovely lounge and dining area, the wi-fi is super quick and smart Tv all just brilliant, we didn’t want to leave!
We loved the balcony it’s HUGE and lovely to sit with a g&t and relax so nice and quiet.
The location, I don’t think you can get any better, 5 minute walk to a beautiful marina, with restaurants and snack bars and a few minutes more in to the town with lovely restaurants and a lovely old town vibe,
During the day we spent either the 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach, white sands and turquoise sea! It’s hard to put into words how incredible the beaches are! Or we round the apartment pool that is kept spotless plenty of sun beds and parasols, cleaned by the pool attendant after each use, it has a main pool and baby pool.
I can honestly say we have never stayed in such a beautiful place! I will definitely be returning, thank you to the owners, great communication, just wonderful xxx

"Place to repeat"
The apartment is really good located, it takes 10 minutes by foot to go to the nearest beach and 5 minutes to the port of the city. There is a supermarket which is called "Pingo Doce", where you can do your daily shopping. Moreover, you can buy local food in the market which is on the seafront.
I would recommend to buy fresh fish and seafood there due to their quality,anyway, it would be more expensive than in the supermarket that was above-mentioned.
Talking about beaches, I would suggest Praia Do Camilo, Praia Dos Pinhos and Praia Dos tres Irmaos. These beaches are really beautiful, but you should go during the morning because of the tide rises and the get shorter.
In Praia Dos tres Irmaos you will find a really wide and long beach, but if you really want to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding you must keep walking until the diffs and after that,there are some rock that you will have to pass trough and then you will arrive to your destiny and you will be able to enjoy the amazing view.
If you prefer to trip I would warming recommend to do a boat trip, we picked one to "Groutas do Ponta da Piedad" with Blue Fleet as enterprise and we also took one to "Groutas do Benagil" with the same company. Keep mind that you can negotiate the price!
Furthermore, if you wold rather to avoid the ocean you can visit a village, which is called "Silves",where you will find a castle from the Moorish era and there is a archaeological museum there.
And finally some recommendations to eat:
1.-Taska do Kiko: It is located behind the port. It deserves your time and it isn´t expensive.
2.-Restaurant Artesao: It is just in the middle of the port,so you won´t have any difficulty in finding it.

Una estancia perfecta
El apartamento fantastico, muy bien situado , amplio y muy bien preparado. El dueño muy pendiente y accesible. Muy recomendable. Hemos pasado unos dias fabulosos en Lagos.
