Our spacious apartment was spotless,comfortable and had everything that a group of 6 friends could possibly need for a week away in the sun.The equally spacious balcony,easily accessible from both the kitchen and lounge,allowed free movement for eating,drinking and socialising whilst enjoying the time of day and the view.The gardens are superbly maintained and the pool is beautiful.In fact,the pool area was much enjoyed with sun-loungers,shades,toilets,a shower and not least,a bar and cafe.We ate at both the cafe and the restaurant and the food was lovely.
Paul and Norma,managers on site,welcomed us on arrival despite the late hour. The kitchen has got some basic provisions but I was able to email in advance with a shopping list to cover the first couple of meals before we could get to a supermarket.This was an excellent service and much appreciated.
We used Yellow Fish airport transfers,easily booked online in advance,for both journeys to and from Faro.They were very friendly and very efficient.
We used Uber for everything else.Equally friendly,equally efficient,particularly in our needing a 6-seater and really cheap.The beautiful beach is fairly close and we always walked there,and ate at three of the nearby restaurants,but we always got an Uber back.The local supermarket is also fairly close but not without a car.
The shopping trips,the boat excursion,the evenings out in Lagos were all made so easy and therefore so enjoyable.
We loved our stay at Jardim da Meia Praia and would definitely recommend it to all,families and,as in our case,a friendship group,alike.
