Raoul’s apartment was fantastic. It’s really spacious and light (and very quiet) and in a great location. The roof terrace was great for morning coffee and a glass of wine at night watching the sunset. We visited a couple of the restaurants he recommended too and they were great.
Communication with Raoul was outstanding from our very first enquiry up until we left. We didn’t get to meet him which was a shame but we knew he was literally at the end of the phone if we needed him.
We didn’t arrive until 10pm but the instructions to get into the apartment were very easy and Raoul had said for us to ring him if we had any problems. He even let us stay in the apartment until lunchtime on the day we were leaving four Douro River Cruise as there were no further guests arriving that day.
I’d definitely recommend this apartment and I’d certainly stay here again if we ever visited Porto.

Great Appartement
Raul is really a great Host. Top Communication and the Appartement is really amazing. The Appartement lies in walking distance to the city center and Douro River. It really offers everything you need. Great view from the rooftop terrace... :-)

Nice studio for enjoying Porto
Raul was one of the best airbnb host that I met. He answered me immediately when I ask something. The appartement was clean, well equipped and well located. Thank you Raul and I hope to come here again. I absolutely recommend:)

You need to stay here!!! Amazing location, amazing apartment & amazing roof terrace!
I really couldn't recommend Raul's place more highly. Its AMAZING. The location is perfect, the apartment is perfect for 2 and the roof terrace is absolutely stunning. We spent many nights with a glass of port overlooking the river. If you go to Porto, you HAVE to stay here!! Raul is a legend too!!

Magnifique appartement avec une belle hauteur sous plafond, très bien situé une vue à coupé le souffle (couché de soleil) et surtout Raul est adorable et très réactif. Il prend le soin de laisser une petite note dans votre langue et vous donne de bonne adresse Des bières vous attendent au frais pour vous souhaitez la bienvenue. A réserver les yeux fermés.

Porto Apartment
Raul’s place is amazing. It’s in a great location, that allows you to walk to most all of the sites in Porto. The rooftop is spectacular. We loved watching the sunrise there with a glass of wine every night of our stay. Raul is extremely helpful and very quick to respond. He recommended great places to go to, and was quick to answer any recommendation questions we had. We definitely will be visiting Porto again, and will definitely plan to stay at Raul’s place if available. I highly recommend staying here for your vacation to Porto!!

Amazing location!
Raul’s studio is amazing! The location is wonderful (very near the university, a short walk to amazing restaurants, and 20 min walk to the river/bridge). He left us a personal welcome note with recommendations and directions to some of his favorite places nearby. We were also able to do a load of laundry and he left step-by-step instructions for that, as well! The space is clean, but very cozy and homey feeling. I thought it might rain the entire time we were there, but, we had clear skies and were able to take advantage of the very cool rooftop! I am so glad I chose to stay here in Porto and would stay at Raul’s again in a heartbeat.

Lovely Porto Stay
Raul's place is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. Raul gave very clear directions to find his building, and it is located in a convenient part of town, near the train station and many great cafes and restaurants. The apartment was spotless and had beautiful natural lighting and all the amenities needed. We really enjoyed the rooftop views at various times of day, but especially at sunset. We only wished we could have stayed more than three nights!

Unique rooftop terrace is amazing! Book now!
Wonderful apartment! Excellent location! We were able to walk everywhere. Raul was an amazing host. He was very quick to respond and greeted us at check in to show us around the space. There are guide books about Porto in the room but Raul offered many personal recommendations as well and took the time to answer all our questions. The view in the rooftop was breathtaking and our favorite place to relax with a glass of wine at sunset! Thanks so much Raul!

Perfect place to stay in the most charming city!
My husband and I spent 3 nights in Porto for part of our honeymoon and fell completely in love with the Airbnb, the people and this city!!! The location on this Airbnb can NOT be beat and the terrace was sooo amazing to watch sunset! It was so cute. It was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I do have to say the pillow and bed could be comfier BUT the terrace, windows, location and vibe definitely make up for it!! There is also the cutest pizza place right across the street. Raul is a delight in person and made us feel so welcome!!! He was the best! Do not hesitate to book this Airbnb! Once in a lifetime experience :)
