Grüne Oase inmitten der Stadt
Ein wunderbarer Ort, um von hier aus die Stadt zu erkunden, anschließend zurückzukehren und in der grünen Oase zu entspannen.
Manuela und Jorge waren sehr gastfreundlich, haben uns sogar mit Portwein, Keksen und Erdbeeren versorgt. Manuela hat sich viel Zeit genommen, um zu erklären, wo in der Stadt und im Umland Sehenswürdigkeiten auf uns warten und auch Empfehlungen für Restaurants gegeben.
Eine Garage für unser Auto (lustigerweise über unserem Appartement) war ebenfalls vorhanden, was in dieser Innenstadtlage nicht unbedeutend ist: Parken ist grundsätzlich auf 4 Stunden limitiert und kostenpflichtig, wenn man kein Anwohner ist.
So gastfreundlich wie Manuela und Jorge hat sich die ganze Stadt präsentiert, ob im Restaurant oder auf der Straße, wir haben sie in unser Herz geschlossen und würden diese Unterkunft auch beim nächsten Besuch wieder wählen.
SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN!!

Great accommodation and a fantastic welcome
We had a lovely week in Porto - despite the wet weather - and were so glad to have this great place to stay and such a welcoming team of people. Jorge had already recommended a couple of restaurants whilst Isabel who met us on arrival gave us the low down on what to visit and drink in and around Porto. The flat itself is a home from home and has a lush green garden area complete with fish for relaxing breakfasts, drinks and dinner outside - more likely in the summer than late October though! Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Jorge, Isabel, Manuela, Alice and Alexandra!

Mini jardín botánico en el centro de Oporto
Apartamento muy bien ubicado. Céntrico, muy bien equipado, limpio.
La recepción en la casa, las explicaciones de Jorge sobre Oporto, etc han sido muy buenas.

Perfect little hidewaway in Porto- perfect hosts
Firstly I have to say that Jorge and his mother are both fantastic people and made every effort to make sure that my partner and I had a brilliant trip to Porto. Jorge has excellent knowledge generally and a few minutes chat with him will yield a great deal of information that will doubtlessly improve your chances of making the most of your time in Porto.
The flat itself was a bit smaller than expected but this is balanced by the fact that there is some clever internal design involved and that all mod cons are included. They have really added a few little extras that tend to make the difference when you're away from home. The garden is enclosed and very lush- a shame the weather was not quite warm enough to fully appreciate this but the secure garage was a bonus as it's worth exploring a little around the Porto area if you have time- Geres National Park, Guimaraes, the Douro valley toward Pinhao and the Atlantic coastline being my top tips.
Porto itself is a lovely little place and can easily be walked into in just a few minutes from the flat.
I should add that the bed was also very comfortable and there is plenty of heat at this time of year.
A great find- perfect location. Especially if you need use of the garage and are hoping to explore more than just Porto itself. If you don't need the garage then still a great place to stay. I would certainly recommend this to any of my friends thinking of visiting the area.
Oh and try the pizza burger at nearby Ribiera Restaurant- it's to die for.

un havre de paix dans le quartier historique de porto
Un accueil sans égal: des gens charmants attentionnés , à notre arrivée :fruits frais, pain ,biscottes fromages etc...porto, jus de fruits.
Un appartement de très bon goût,très propre,bien équipé. Un jardin (partagé avec les propriétaires mais tjs très discrets) luxuriant ,superbe; qui hélas ajoute à l humidité déjà régnant dans Porto de plus, la situation en contre-bas de l'appartement doit apporter sa note dans ce petit bémol.

A paradise in the city center, great location!
We loved this location! The house is great, with a very unique architecture and decoration, modern and exquisite, with a glassed wall over the garden of exotic plants and fish ponds. The small collection of classic cars exposed in the garage where we parked our car made us feeling part of a movie.
The location is perfect, near the city centre, the metro station, good restaurants and services nearby.
The owners, very friendly, gave us a warm welcome and useful indications and advices to visit the city, maps and brochures of attractions and important places to visit.
We will return for sure!
