We stayed at the apartment late March 2023 and had a great experience. Everything we needed and more was supplied in the apartment and it had lovely views of the sea and surrounding area. Just returned from our second Xmas break at the lovely Cala Azul apartment and it has been a pleasure. Top floor with great views, lift access and garage parking. Clean and very well-equipped (and with Lidl's just up the road). Easy communication during booking and return. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Mick and Sues apartment for the first-time during November and part of December 2022 after two stays at a nearby apartment in the Cala Azul complex. We changed because we were looking for something better and boy did we find it. A wonderfully furnished apartment with everything you need, well maintained and well situated. The view from the main bedroom and sun terrace is unbelievable and photographs just don’t do it justice. Amenities are close by with Lidl to the right facing and the “strip”, with restaurants and bars etc. to the left only a couple of minutes’ walk away. Across the footbridge over the A7 and you’re into La Calla itself with the centre, which has enough café’s, restaurants and bars to satisfy everyone, and of course the market only fifteen minutes’ walk away. Any problems should you have any are dealt with immediately by Mick and Sue by phone or by Mary and Alan, their friends who live there. Mick and Sue’s communication with you is second to none from booking, being there and on your return to ensure everything runs smoothly to give you that perfect holiday. Great apartment with lovely views of the sea and surrounding area. We were able to bat watch in the evenings which was a real treat for us. The gated complex was quiet and respectful, we were a family with a child and found the gardens and pool area very amenable,they were kept to a high standard and it felt safe and chilled. La Cala was beautiful,beaches,shops and eateries close by, all lovely.Very authentic and pleasing. A little Spanish Treasure. Mick and Sue were great hosts, prompt in answering any queries and a smooth set up re keys etc. No stress at all. Highly recommended.

Location of this apartment is ideal to La Cala and its beaches... only 5 /10 minute walk into the centre. We also really enjoyed the great selection of wine bars & restaurants on the doorstep of the complex. The apartment was first class and Mick & Sue made the whole booking experience so easy for us. The balcony has an amazing view of the sea and the apartment was ideal for my family with the two bathrooms and spacious living room. . Pool area and complex is so clean and very well maintained. The location is amazing, the beach is at the door step and you have a stunning pool in the complex. We will definitely visit again!

This was our 2nd visit to Cala Azul, and it didnt disappoint, every ammenity you need is close by, the Apratment is well maintained and as for the sea view simply stunning! Unfortuntunately our visit was delayed by Covid,Mick and Sue were extremely helpful and understanding of the changes we had to make, they made the whole booking process very easy. We will be booking again shortly.

Another great holiday at this fabulous penthouse apt at La Cala its like home from home sea views to die for near to shops bars and beach 4th time at Mike and sues apt won't be the last 80degrees sun all week what more can you ask for lovely swimming pools right outside apt and lidl across road for all your food shopping many thanks to Mike and sue correspondence was 1st class

What a relief to be back after the covid ban last year. Great apartment, balcony sunny all day and a walk to the beach. The gardens are beautiful with a decent sized pool. Try the new Italian restaurant just down the road., La Piccola Casa. Great value for money with steaks and best pasta in La Cala. Thanks again Mick & Sue

We've been visiting the La Cala area for the past 5 years or so and this apartment is without doubt the best we've ever stayed in. The location is ideal; everything is within walking distance and the bus to Marbella/Malaga at end of road. We love not having to do car hire so this is a major plus. Mick and Sue were really nice to deal with and responded to any query immediately. Mary, who met us on our first night, was a lovely lady also. All in all, I can really see why people say this apt is like a "home from home" - very comfortable and we felt very welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
