Fabulous Stay with Genuine hospitality from the villa Manager to staff
We stayed in Beach Rose Five bed room villa in March with a group of eight. We had an amazing time at this villa. The location is perfect, we had the private beach and villa to ourselves! Everything was perfect from start, Kasia the villa manager was very hospitable and always quick to answer any queries and needs. The villa is well equipped and have everything you need that air bnb host doesn’t usually provide. The maid comes to clean and change towels every day.
A little suggestion perhaps, to put a note if guests wants to change towels or bed linen, then leave them on the floor or provide a basket. For some guests like us it’s not necessary to change towels and linen everyday. We care about the environment. 😊
Many thanks again Idyllic Samui. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hope to be back again soon.

The best place in Thailand
Our family, a couple with two children 4 and 10, and two relatives were living in a resort this month from June 25 to July 25, 2014 We stayed at Villa Sunflower, which consists of a main house with a kitchen and 2 bedrooms and another small house with 2 bedrooms. Villa is surrounded by a lovely garden, just 50 meters from the sea. The beach is quiet, clean, and very few people are comfortable. Low tide occurs in the morning, but it does not interfere with swimming.
Resort very quiet, comfortable, clean and homely. Every day cleaning the pool and villa. Very friendly staff and great service.
And the owners of the Resort absolutely wonderful people with whom we had become friends during our stay there.
And it is quite clear now that I will now only go to this Resort in Thailand.
I highly recommend this Resort to visit everyone, especially families with young children. This was my fourth trip to Thailand, and it was the best vacation spot for all these years.

Beautiful Villa & excellent staff
We stayed in one of the 4-bed villas for a week over Christmas 2013. The villa itself was beautiful! Although there were only 4 of us you could accommodate up to 8 people easily. The highlight of the holiday would have to be the staff at this place. They were always very helpful, smiling & did a fantastic job with everything we asked for from hiring a car to providing a full Thai banquet for our Christmas Day Lunch (& all at a very reasonable price).
The only negative points were the location of the villas. They are situated very close to each other with only a small hedge between them so its not really private which can be an issue if the family next door are screaming & shouting in the pool & you were after a chill out holiday. The beach at the end of the road is also quite dirty,the onshore winds are quite strong so a lot of rubbish washed up on the beach each day although the staff from the 3 hotels that share the beach do try to clean the rubbish up.

Thank you for your nice review. We try always to do better. About the beach, we are situated on a laguna in a green area with the result that when the wind is heavy and the tide is there we can have plants and seaweed , and when stormy also wood and coconuts. But it is all natural , not dirty it much different from the beaches near the cities. There it can be dirty from waste .
It is a pity you stayed so short it never takes long and perhaps you did not know this , we have a free shuttle to another beach when the weather conditions cause this in our laguna. You told you like our service and management this is the way we try to keep everyone ""sabai ""
And the villas all have a large private garden but we are a resort so the villas are not isolated but the gardens are near each other in our resort It also gives a lot of safety. But it is true we cannot not allow late partying also because many kids stay in the resort .
We hope to see you back to see our clear and clean sea

Paradise on Earth
If you are looking for romantic serenity, breathtaking views and tender warm sea-breeze, Idyllic Samui Resort is exactly that very place! From the very beginning everything went perfect. We were met by very hospitable and friendly Hans and Lana who showed us to the3-bedroom Villa which we fell in love with at once. The wonderful swimming pool surrounded by blooming trees became the favourite place for our kids and for us. The villas are built and designed in the magic Thai minimalist style which is so authentic and beautiful in one at the same time. What we liked most of all was that this villa had a spirit of house and home. We felt ourselves at home. If we wanted to cook, we had all the equipment in the spacious kitchen, including a blender. If we wanted barbecued seafood or meat, wood-fired grill was at our services. We used huge TV in the living room as the screen for watching our videos of the day (but one could watch just TV, of course). The kids were very happy to run and swim because the villa is spacious.
I cannot but say a few words about the hosts of the villa. Hans and Lana were always ready to give advice on where to go or to help in case we needed anything, for example, rent a car or a motorbike. We could also order any excursion from them and enjoy the surroundings. They were very kind to us. Thank you, guys. To add to it, all Thai personnel were extremely polite and friendly.
We are very happy to discover this Idyllic Samui villa resort and will recommend it to all our friends and relatives.

lovely villa
Picked up from air port on time in spacious people carrier. check in was quick and easy. large villa with pool. staff and owners are lovely and couldn't be more helpful villa and pool cleaned daily and to a high standard.
the villa is away from most attraction which suited us as we like it quiet. unfortunately as it is quiet the sound from passing cars made it appeared noisy at night. as we were right next to the road and a little way from the beach.

Thank very much for your review, we always try to improve our resort an villas an we enjoy learn from our guests .
Our resort is away from the noisy attractions and that makes that other noises than that of the waves of the sea. and birds are disturbing .
Because we are away from most attractions and busy Chaweng we have a shutlle bus which brings our guests to the attractions if they want .
We are renovating one beach front villa: we really try to do that with as low noise as possible and never too early or late . We apologize for any disturbance it gives but we have to complete.
We are proud and happy with our great review and we hope to welcome you next year in Idyllic Samui Resort again.

Truly idyllic
The pictures and reviews really don't do justice to this place. We were a group of 3 couples looking for a quiet relaxing get away. This place delivered on everything. We stayed in the large ocean front villa.Definitely worth paying the extra for ocean front. Each couple had ample room for privacy and we also had great space for sitting together and swimming. The Thai massages were great. Highly recommend. We used them every day. The little Country Bar a short walk away was great. Great food and really cheap. Happy to recommend. We all loved everything about this place.

Very nice and calm full serviced resort.
We were 3 weeks to thailand and in the last week we went to Koh Sumui.
We booked for 1 week in the Idyllic Samui Resort and traveled from Bankok to Koh Samui by catamaran. We arived the island and the hostess of the resort was waiting for us with the resort transport, which available the whole week to go to different place of the island, to transfer to the resort. We wanted to rent a motorbike so the hostess called the rental service and give us the information when the motorbike arrived at the resort. Every morning there is fresh bread on the garden door and fresh food on the fruit basket. If we had questions about the island or restaurants, the hostess give us information and even she booked the restaurant. Great villa and pool at the villa. The beach from the resort is about 40 meters walking and is private with canoe's and beach chairs. In short: perfect accomodation, good service, calm and ideally resort. 10+

One of the best holidays!
I visited Idyllic Samui Resort this summer and this was one of the best holidays in my life! We lived in a beautiful villa just a few meters from the sea. Resort has its private beach shared with two other resorts, meaning that nobody from the outside can go there. Resort offers a massage service on the beach or in the villas, and I loved it so much!
The villa was gorgeous, classic, with big kitchen and warm, clean swimming pool.
The bed rooms were spacious and the bed was good I slept perfect The bath room was unsuited and from the bedroom you stepped immediately in the garden and pool.
Staff was very helpful (there are two managers: one Thai and one European), they had many good advises regarding places to visit, trips and restaurants. The funny thing: in the office I found a small library with books from different countries (leftovers from previous guests) and took them every time I was going to the beach.
Also the resort has a shulter bus that could take for a small fee to the shopping centre or fisherman village for dinner.
The weather was very good, and we definitely want to come back.

super mooie plek, prachtige villa, alle comfort en zeer vriendelijk personeel
wij hadden een prachtige villa met privé zwembad; alle comfort was aanwezig. Alle medewerkers zijn heel vriendelijk en niets is te veel als je het vraagt. Het begon met een goede ontvangst op de airport, een flesje bubbels in het appartement, volgende dag gelijk ontbijt- en boodschappen service etc. Autohuur wordt voor je geregeld, auto wordt afgeleverd en weer opgehaald in de resort.
Wij komen hier heel graag weer terug.

My great holidays on the Samui Island, Thailand. Idyllic Resort.
In the airport I was picked up by the owner of the Idyllic Resort (Hans Beeftink) and his lovely wife (Lana Beeftink). The whole trip from the airport to the Resort takes about 10 minutes. In the Idyllic Resort I was living in the Orchid Villa. That villa is located approximately 100 meters away from the shore. And the whole way from the Villa's door to the beach is pure pleasure: at the beginning you overcome a short distance among palms and blooming bushes of orchids and then the rest of the way it is a long tunnel covered with many coloured flowers and in the end of your short trip to the beach you are met by white, clean sand and by a blue stripe of South China Sea. Probably I should mention that the beach is private and there is no access for strangers. The Orchid Villa consists of two buildings. One building includes a big fully equipped kitchen which is integrated with a cosy living room, a bedroom with a double bed and of course a toilet and a shower. As well that building has a big terrace and a summer bed outside. Another building consists of two bedrooms with toilet, shower and everything what you need for sleeping and nice time being inside of the room. Those two buildings are separated by a swimming pool with two beach beds and lawn. The Resort consists also of other Villas, they are all different but made with great taste and love in order to make you feel yourselves as at home. In the main office which is located right next to the entrance to the Resort, you can find a nice small library which is there because some people have left there many books after their holidays. There are many books in many languages, plus, DVD disks with movies and music. As well in the main office you can find a coffee machine, a fridge with fizzy drinks, high quality alcohol and chocolate. Also the Resort provides so many other services/ options which make you even happier there than you are at that moment of time!
