Wonderful place
We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly. One afternoon we arrived from a tour and there was a moussaka for us. The house has a lot of extras especially for children. Very clean as well.

Vacances en Crète
La maison est comme sur les photos. La piscine est petite mais très agréable après de belles journées de visites. Très bien pensé d'avoir mis des moustiquaires aux fenêtres. La personne qui nous accueille est très chaleureuse, toujours disponible et elle nous apporte une délicieuse moussaka à notre arrivée. La maison est très propre et le jardin très bien entretenu. Je pense toutefois qu'il manque un grand parasol dans le jardin. A 20 minutes de la maison, il y a le baja beach club (transat de plage, piscine, DJ, de quoi de restaurer top) De l'autre côté de la route après avoir été au Baja Beach Club à trois minutes en retournant à la ville il y a un grand centre commercial pour faire ses courses alimentaires. Enfin, la villa est en pleine nature et c'est ce que nous recherchions mais il faut savoir qu'il y a des centaines et des centaines de grillons qui font du bruit dès que le jour se lève jusqu'au coucher du soleil et le bruit peut être désagréable pour certaines personnes qui aiment le calme.

Amazing villa
Beautiful view, super clean villa and very welcoming host Sonia, she greeted us with traditional moussaka dish and bottle of wine. But you must have a car there.
We will definitely will be back next year!!!

Great family holiday in Villa Chainteris!
We had a great family holiday at Vila Chainteris. We were picked up from a central point in town by the owner, since we couldn't find the exact location on our own. She was very welcoming and brought us some home cooked lamb later that afternoon, which was lovely. The vila was lovely and more than big enough for us four (my husband and I and our 3- and 5 year old daughters). The garden was huge and very child-friendly with a playhouse, trampoline, some toys and safety fence around the pool.
There were some basic groceries when we arrrived, which was perfect to start with: fresh water, fresh fruits, ham, cheese, bread and coffee. We had a lovely view of the valley from the garden and had sun in the garden all day. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything looked well looked-after. The bathroom was small but sufficient and included a washing machine, which is always great when you're travelling with kids! There was even some washing powder to use. The bedrooms were nice and cool and because of the external shutters were nice and dark as well (no early sunshing waking up the kids). The only thing my husband and I disliked were the beds. The mattrasses were extremely hard, but this could be a matter of taste of course. We had a lovely stay in our vila and would highly recommend it to any family or couple(s) looking for a home away from home in a lovely area with the best service provided by both the owner and Valia!

Modern, well equipped villa in peaceful location
After a bit of difficulty finding the villa we had a wonderful welcome from the owners. They were very friendly and understandably very proud of the 3 villas that they had built and decorated themselves. The villa was spotless with a lovely kitchen and bathroom and everything we could need - washing machine, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, cable TV in lounge and both bedrooms, barbecue etc etc. There was a view of the sea from the lounge and the small pool. The outside areas had plenty of seating including a large swinging lounger!
We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday and as the villa was only 5 minutes from the main highway it was easy to drive to all the tourist attractions and beaches.
