Carmen's apartment is truly the best flat I ever discovered traveling. Beyond that, Carmen herself is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to information about Graz and passionately shares all her knowledge. True heartfelt hospitality that's rarely experienced on this level. The place is incredibly clean, very spacious and literally better equipped than my own house. Every corner is perfectly thought through and offers everything one could possibly need. Carmen's travel experience herself has lead to the result of knowing exactly what one might want. The location could not be more central. It is true, you really live on main square in the very heart of the City. The perfectly insulated windows offer complete tranquility inside, and you almost can't believe you're living on the main square of Graz. We discovered this wonderful apartment last summer. It was our base for a week of discovery of my Austrian roots. My mother was born in Graz and it was our first visit to this beautiful ancient city and its friendly inhabitants. We have just returned to the US from our second visit to Graz and of course we stayed again in this excellent apartment. It is on the first floor of an ancient building and has been sympathetically modernized with attention to every detail for guest convenience and comfort, including a well equipped kitchen with coffee maker and everything you need. The shower room and toilet are separate which we prefer. There is a hallway inside the apartment for outdoor clothes. There is a spacious sitting room with large TV and a work desk. And a double bedroom. It is not at all cramped like other apartments in Europe. There is a bakery next door and a grocery store nearby. The apartment is centrally situated on the central main square of Graz next to the City Hall. It is about 25 minutes taxi ride from the airport. Carmen the owner is lovely and speaks perfect English and several other languages. She is a font of all knowledge about Graz, Austrian culture and just about anything you need to know. The apartment is bright, airy and very spacious, with comfortable modern furnishings, cable tv and fast reliable internet. There is independent access with an electronic key that is reprogrammed for each booking. Graz is a very safe and friendly city and there are frequent cultural events in the main square. The main sights are within strolling distance and the tram stop is across the square. The tourist office is just around the corner with an array of postcards and high quality souvenirs. It is in the armory museum which is a must see. The apartment windows open to let in the sun and sounds of the ancient streets, and are perfectly sound proof when closed. There are many good restaurants nearby with choices to suit any taste and budget. We frequently rent apartments in different countries and this is the best apartment we've found and the price is amazing for the quality and amenity. Graz is amazing. This apartment is fabulous. We are already looking forward to making our next booking.

The apartment CityDeLights is located in the main square of Graz, in a quiet and silent area, inside a historical building. It is perfectly connected with the railway station and other areas of the city by public services; nearby you will find bars, restaurants, supermarkets. The apartment is really perfect with a special care of all the details. It is clean, new and elegant so that you will immediately feel like at home. The owners are very kind and will help you in any way. I highly recommend this apartment to everybody!

Enjoyed the convenience of the location and all the nice touches Carmen has in the apartment, especially in the bathroom and kitchen. Carmen is a great host and communicated helpfully and promptly. Would highly recommend!

Carmen was the perfect host with the perfect apartment for our family of 4 (teen kids). Not only was it centrally located... you literally fall out of your apartment into the Hauptplatz, the centre of town... but the apartment is immaculately clean, fitted with luxe quality fittings, and is lovely and spacious. Also, Carmen's hospitality just made our brief stay in Graz perfect. The only issue we had was that we only had two nights in Graz...! Thanks so very much Carmen :)

Wir haben drei wunderbare Tage im CitydeLights verbracht und uns von Beginn an wohlig wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage direkt neben dem Rathaus ist perfekt, besser geht es wirklich nicht. Im Haus befindet sich auch ein kleiner Supermarkt und bei nächtlichen Hungerattacken huscht man kurz zu einem der Würstelstände gegenüber. Das Appartement ist nicht nur perfekt und durchdacht, sondern auch mit viel Liebe zu hübschen Details eingerichtet, wie z.B. frische Blumen im Bad, schokoladige Betthupferl am Nachttisch und Selbstgemachtes (Marmelade, Ketchup) sowie Milch und Wein im Eiskasten. Die Küche ist optimal ausgestattet, auch eine Nespresso-Maschine (Kapseln gibt es im nahen Geschäft), ein Toaster und ein Geschirrspüler sind vorhanden. Das große Doppelbett bietet traumhaften Liegekomfort, ganz wichtig nach einem langen Stadtbummel! Überhaupt war es auch sehr ruhig und kuschelig warm in der gesamten Wohnung. Das Bad ist modern und hochwertig ausgestattet. Evetuell wäre ein blickdichter Vorhang hier wünschenswert. Stuck an den Decken, Parkettböden und Flügeltüren unterstreichen das elegante Ambiente. Das gesamte Appartement ist picobello sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Carmen ist eine herzliche, entgegenkommende und welterfahrene Gastgeberin, die viele gute Tipps bereithält. Vielen Dank, wir kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder!

We booked the apartment for New Year traveling to Graz to spend time with family. When we arrived and Carmen showed the apartment to us we were just amazed ! Tucked away right by the Square every little detail has been thought about and the apartment is truly magnificent. The space, the decor and all the little touches are something that you would never find in a hotel. If you are visiting Graz this is the place to book without a doubt.
