The property is located very centrally in Kirkwall with good access to shops, restaurants, local attractions and amenities. The allocated parking spot was very pleasing. Excellent view of Tankerness Gardens from the sitting room and one bedroom. The property was pleasantly warm, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The key entry arrangements were very satisfactory offering a good level of personal security. Booking was easy and communications about the booking were very good. Two very satisfied customers! Iwould recommend this property to all friends and family without any hesitation.

We, a party of 3 adults, loved this first floor apartment (Apartment 3). It was so well equipped and very comfortable. We also had no problem parking outside the apartments (a permit was supplied to display on the dashboard) The communication, starting with our initial booking to the final information needed to access the apartment was first class. The location is excellent, a very pleasant short walk into town. We couldn't find fault with anything and would not hesitate to return to, or to recommend these apartments.

The apartment is conveniently situated in the centre of Kirkwall. We found the entrance to the car park second time around, a sign indicating the apartments would be useful. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. The kitchen was well laid out and was suffficiently stocked for two people. Couldn’t find a teapot, I like my tea brewed in a teapot. The spring on the bedroom door was very strong resulting in the door banging when we forgot to keep hold of it. We would book the apartment again when we return to Orkney.

A very comfortable & well equipped apartment with a lovely outlook to the front over gardens. The rear looks out over roof tops and other buildings. It is well kept, very clean & tidy and in great location in the centre of Kirkwall. We were enjoying our holiday until the 4th night when we began to get a lot of noise from the apartment above. At one point we thought perhaps some work was being carried out as the thumps and bangs were so loud. The following evening the noise started again around 6pm. We decided to contact the owner and she advised us that no work was being carried out and that she would speak with the guests in the apartment. The noise continued for the rest of that evening. The owner did call us back around 9am the following day to confirm she had spoken with them but by that time we had decided to leave and were on our way to the ferry terminal. Either they were extremely noisy guests or there is a problem with soundproofing in the building. This is a lovely place to stay unless you are unfortunate enough to come across the circumstances we encountered. Can only give 3 stars due to the situation.

Clean, modern apartment in the centre of Kirkwall. It is well equipped with everything you need and is also a cosy place to come back to after a long day out exploring. The apartment is on the first floor and has views from the living room and one of the bedrooms onto beautiful Tankerness Gardens. A good base for exploring the Mainland and also the other islands, being situated close to the ferry terminals. Definitely recommend!

The apartment was a lovely place to come back to each evening after walking in cold weather. The décor is modern and tasteful and the kitchen well equipped. The two deds were very comfortable and a lot of thought had gone into things like underfloor heating and the provision of a drying room. The location was excellent, easy to walk to anywhere else in town and there were pretty views out of one bedroom and the sitting room. Our party comprised four adults and we never felt overcrowded in the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day.

Apartment 3, with the view of Tankerness Gardens, is spacious, spotless, extremely well equipped, comfortable and warm. (Underfloor heating). It is 2 minutes from the Cathedral, and 5 minutes walk to Tesco or the town centre restaurants, yet really quiet and private. Every detail has been thought of - blackout blinds in the bedrooms, iphone dock, all bedlinen and towels provided, a very well equipped kitchen and a welcome set of tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk and biscuits. Do look at their website. The key box system is very good - no need to carry the keys, and if you go out separately, the first person back can get the keys. Although the owners don't need to meet you on arrival, they are very helpful and very quick to respond to queries, so it's not as impersonal as it seems. We also stayed in Apartment 2. This is identical - just as good. A plus point being on the ground floor, but minus the view of Tankerness Gardens. Being based in Kirkwall is ideal for touring about, and day trips to other islands. The apartments are just minutes from the bus station and Tourist Information, and there is private parking. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks so much, Allison and your team.
