My husband and I and our teenage son stayed in flat 3 in July. The flat is on the first floor. The first thing we noticed when we walked into the building was how clean it was. The flat is very comfortable, very well equipped. It has homely, cosy feel about it. It was great to have two bathrooms (especially with a teenager who likes to spend long time in the shower). There was a designated parking space for each flat. Location could not be better. It’s about 3-5 minutes walk from St Magnus cathedral and the main street of Kirkwall. There is a Chinese and an Indian takeaway almost next door to the Store building. Three supermarkets are within easy walking distance from the building. We had great time and would like to stay here again if we visit Orkney in future.

This is a very well appointed 2 bed/2bath flat with a full kitchen, dining table, Corner sofa and Smart TV. This is one of the best that I have stayed in and would not hesitate to recommend it. Very clean and well presented. I’ll be back :-)

Excellent standard of accommodation at No3 flat, the store Kirkwall. Flat was modern, very clean, extremely well equipped. Very central location, with private parking but very quiet. Really appreciated the extra touches - local shortbread l, tablet and milk! Would definitely return and recommend!

The flat was well designed with all that was needed for a self catering holiday. At the end of the lane both Chinese and Indian restaurants within a few yards and about 200yards three supermarkets so all within easy reach of the flat. Also a fish and chip shop about 100yards away as well as the city centre so everything is easy to get to. We hope to return next year if the flat is available. The location is also ideally situated for planning journeys to the far parts of the island with most of the visitor sites within about 20 minutes drive

Apartment is an excellent standard , compact but with all facilities for a holiday break.Location superb - 2 restaurants on doorstep and large supermarket minutes away on foot in one direction and bus station a stroll away in the other as is the main high street yet it’s quiet too - but then it’s in lovely peaceful relaxing Orkney

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this comfortable, well appointed flat which is so close to the town centre yet so quiet. (We live in a very quiet area and had reservations about being “in town” but we heard only bird noises!) Everything we needed and more was provided, all beautiful quality, clean and new. We really couldn’t make 1 criticism of the flat. Our holiday was made perfect by having such a warm comfortable place to come back to each evening. Thank you.

I had a fantastic stay at The Store with my partner and my parents - the flat is so pristine I think we were the first people to stay there. I was certainly the first ever person to use the iron! Very well equipped modern kitchen, great bathroom with very roomy bath and ensuite facilites off the master bedroom are immaculate as well. I found the flat bigger than it looks in the photos. I really appreciated the recycling facilties directly outside the door and the welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk and local biscuits was a really nice touch. This was a great base to get out and wander round Kirkwall (centre of town is 1 minute walk from the flat) as well as exploring the rest of mainland Orkney by car. Excellent, clear instructions on how to find the place and pick up key - all nice and easy. It was my first visit to Orkney and I can't wait to go back. Thank you!
