Stayed in the apartment for a holiday exploring the Neolithic and Iron age monuments in Orkney. Apartment itself is absolutely gorgeous with two lovely large shower rooms, large bedrooms, comfy beds and a warehouse sized living room/kitchen. All really well decorated and super comfortable. Apartment is very handy if you brought a car to go exploring as it has off street parking. It is also very handy for walking down to Kirkwall center as its not far at all. Its also only a stones through from the Highland Park distillery if thats your thing. The owners were lovely and very sociable, and met us on the street when I missed the turning into the yard! I guest lost tourists are obvious :-D

We stayed for a week with our Canadian friends who were over visiting. The apartment was ideal - spacious, beautifully clean & well presented. Lovely kitchen which was well equipped & bathrooms with walk in showers (great for us older folk). Christine & Colin are friendly & very helpful, without being intrusive. And I loved Christine's garden. The apartment is on the outskirts of Kirkwall which was handy for amenities & also good for exploring the island. Weather wasn't exactly great but that didn't stop us having a lovely week in the beautiful Orkney islands.

We booked Wardbay over the new year period in order to welcome in 2019 in a totally different way. We were't disappointed. The apartment is large, spacious, very clean, very well equipped, and (important at this time of year) very warm. We had a warm welcome from Colin and he was on hand for any queries or advice about the area. One of our group is a wheelchair user and she was very impressed with the lay out of the apartment including the en-suite, level access shower area. The apartment is within 10-15 minutes walk of Kirkwall town centre which made it easy for eating out in the evening or having a few drinks in one of the excellent bars without needing to drive. We watched the 'ba' match on New Years day which was a real occasion and got the new year off to an exciting start. Kirkwall was a good base from which to explore other parts of the island and there is so much to explore we didn't see it all. We will be back!

Located in Kirkwall and well situated both for the town centre and Scapa, which can be accessed by the excellent Crantit trail for the beach (wrap up warm). Recommend Kirkwall high street for coffee, pubs, eating and shopping, Cathedral well worth a visit. Apartment is modern, stylish, clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Just returned from a fabulous week in Orkney, stayed at the Wayward apartment and it was really lovely. It was really clean and had everything we could have wanted for our stay. Apartment is a 15 minute walk from all the main shops and cafes etc. I would really recommend it for anyone coming to holiday in Orkney.

the apartment was great and spotlessly clean.On the outskirts of KIrkwall nice and peacefull.Colin and Cristine are lovely people if you need advice they will help you,if not they will leave you to do your own thing.

As Kirkwall is a small town, anywhere you stay is convenient. This apartment is situated on the outskirts of the town. It was very cozy and clean. All the amenities were there that you would want or need in a home away from home situation. The owners were available anytime you would need them, which we didn't, but had an opportunity to chat with them while there; super-friendly Orcadians! The apartment is suitable for disabled people as there are no steps and they even have a ramp for the extremely small step up to patio. It was super quiet too. I stayed there with my 85-year old mother and aunt: it was perfect for the three of us. There are two separate bedrooms which accommodated them nicely, while I slept on a very comfortable portable bed in the living room. I would not hesitate to stay here again if my travels bring me back to Orkney!
