We stayed 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in Broxmouth Park. Carol met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of property and useful local information. We had a fantastic stay in this lovely annexe which was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside decked area is well furnished to be able to sit with a coffee and admire the outstanding views. Fridge stocked with essentials and breakfast is as described and more. The owners have thought of everything and we will definitely return as it's a great base to explore the surrounding area.

This wee break is exactly what l needed. Carol and Chris were the perfect host. The wee cottage is exactly the way it looks in the pictures. The cottage was immaculate and there was a superb selection of breakfast cereals in the cottage. The fridge was well stocked with milk , bottled water , fruit juice and jams . The cottage has a lovely external seating area and just perfect for sitting with a coffee and watching the sun goin down. I will definitely be looking to rebook the joiners rest later in the year. Carol and Chris gave some good recommendations for eating out and there is plenty of information leaflets regarding the surrounding area for visits and what’s on locally.

Accommodation was excellent at Joiners Rest,Spotte, Dunbar. It was very comfortable , well equipped and very cosy. It is set in beautiful countryside and our host was very helpful and welcoming.

Second time we have stayed here. We love it! It's perfect, so cosy, has everything you need. The breakfast is perfect with a great choice. Carol and Chris are lovely and so accommodating. They even offered to drop us off at the train station, which we were very grateful. Thanks again for a lovely stay. We will be back again soon. Xxx

Very impressive accommodation offering. The hosts have thought of everything and the amount of little touches that just elevates it from a nice property to an amazing place are just endless. Would definitely go back.

on arrival we were greeted by carol our host shown round lovely annexe and she just lets you enjoy your holiday.Views from decking can only be described as stunning Spott is only 7mins from dunbar and is a very quiet small village with asda 2mins drive down the road ..Everything you need is there including continental brekkie,fridge,microwave,toaster .Anybody who stays in this annexe will not be disappointed

Carole had thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable. A fully self contained annexe adjoining her home, Rose Cottage. Spotlessly clean, with amazing views to Dunbar and North Berwick, log burner (with fuel), comfortable bed and seating both inside and out. Fluffy towels, full size fridge (complimentary continental breakfast items included), microwave and glassware/crockery. Minutes from Dunbar and a short drive to North Berwick. We loved it and will definitely book again. Thankyou.

Had such a brilliant time at Carols annex. Everyone was clean and the small details, from having cereals and orange juice to a fully kitted out log fire were a great addition. Such a lovely view from the porch can see the sea and expanse of land. Location is great, 5 minute drive I to Dunbar. Would 100% visit again.

We stayed here for 3 days for our anniversary. It was immaculate. Lovely and cosy and everything you would need for a continental breakfast, from a selection of cereal, bread, butter, milk, juice, jam, marmalade, pastries and even some choccy biscuits. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs available. The owner Carol was lovely and gave us her number if we needed her. We had a great stay and will definitely go back.xxx
