My family of four (my husband and our two teenage boys) had the pleasure of staying at Il Monticello. Teresa and Raffaele were gracious and kind hosts who helped us with various restaurant bookings while there. The unit was very clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking views from our apartment (see included pictures) along with the multiple levels and multiple balconies on their ample-sized property up in the hills of Positano. Their dog, Cooper, was such a sweetie too. We felt so comfortable and happy at Casa Terry after a whirlwind tour of Rome. The Amalfi Coast was amazing, relaxing and beyond beautiful. We were especially happy with our decision to stay in Positano further up in the hills. It was so peaceful and getting to the beach was good exercise and a lovely walking adventure every day. I highly recommend Il Monticello and any of their three apartments on their gorgeous hill-side property! As John Steinbeck wrote about Positano “It is a dream place that isn't quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone."  

My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Terry!! The apartment had everything we needed and came with amazing views of Positano and the Mediterranean Sea. We walked to Positano almost every day (1500 steps!!) and took the bus back each afternoon - the bus stop is just steps from the apartment. We also enjoyed several dinners in Montepertuso (Il Ritrovo, Donna Rosa, and La Tagliata). All were very good.

We had the pleasure of spending a couple of weeks at Casa Terry. The views are breathtaking! Raffaele and his daughter Theresa took very good care of us, answering any questions that we had. They made us feel like family, and Cooper too. The villa has everything you would need for your stay. If we ever return to Positano we would stay at Casa Terry.

This apartment had everything we needed and was very well maintained. The location is superb - away from the hustle and bustle but very easily accessed by regular bus service which stops almost outside the door. Owners are very helpful and happy to answer questions. Lovely local restaurants within walking distance, but many run free taxi services too.

Apartment very clean and well furnished. Beautiful views from the multiple terraces. Very gracious hosts. If return to Positano, would again rent this property.. A totally great and enjoyable 8 day stay.

We stayed here for four days in May. Raphael was the perfect host along with his wonderful daughter Teresa. We were early and Teresa met us showing us the beautiful villa. It had all the amenities one could need. It was clean and bright and the outdoor living spaces were exceptional. You could not ask for better views. For your convenience there was a stocked bar and wonderful wine selection which you could purchase from. Any questions we had during our stay were answered by Teresa promptly. There is no need for a car if you stay here. The bus stop is right in front of the property. We had a wonderful time here. We hope to return. Thank you Rafael and Teresa.

My husband and our 16 year old son spent 5 nights here in June. Teresa, the owners daughter, and a driver met us at the Naples train station to take us to this piece of paradise. Teresa was a delight and I would highly recommend their drivers...we didn't rent a car and didn't need one when we arrived in Positano. We loved our place....the views were breath taking! We walked up to Montepetuso(sp) several times to the local grocery shop. The place had everything we needed and wifi was good on our porch and the living room...important to us and our teenage son. We went to Capri for the day...the best part of Capri was the journey there. The buses on Capri to go to the chairlift were disorganized and we wasted a lot of time. I wish we had taken an additional boat ride around the island. We rode the SITA buses along the Amalfi coast-glad I wasn't driving:) We didn't explore the town of Amalfi. Instead we hopped on another bus to Ravello...so glad we did...had lunch at a hidden spot called Café Amore and the views and food were amazing! I was sad when we left Positano as everyone was so nice to us. We had Teresa and her father arrange transportation to the Naples airport when we departed...our driver was a delight! Thanks Teresa and Raphael(sp) for making our stay perfect! I would stay here again!

I plan my vacations two years in advance and after reading countless reviews, costs, location and amenities, I decided on Casa Terry in beautiful Positano, Italy. After communicating with Owner Raffaele, I felt extremely comfortable about my decision and can say our group was completely satisfied. Raffaele is prompt to answer any questions you may have. For Americans, navigating and driving in the Amalfi Coast is a challenge. I always rent a car and drive all over Europe. The GPS co-ordinates were very helpful, but what was best was as we got close we called Teresa and she and her husband stood outside to help us find the villa which after you arrive once is a breeze to find again. The villa is located at the top of the hill with postcard views of Positano and its bay. The villa is furnished with everything you need, including a washer. The AC was great. There is a balcony which opens from the living area and two terraces accessible for use. Secure parking inside the compound and a lift to take your luggage down to your room which will wait on you approximately 90 stairs below. The villa is very comfortable and also had a pullout couch. Grapes were abundant on the vines above the terrace. You also receive free wifi. While there we visited Pompeii, Vesuvius, Palace in Caserta, Naples, a day boat excursion to Capri and a sunset cruise, cooking class in Sorrento, etc.... The convenience of a city bus stop is directly behind the villa which for $1.80 euro will take you to city center. There are restaurants and a market about 500 meters walking distance. What more could one want? Let me tell you about Raffaele, his daughter Teresa and her husband. This family are wonderful hosts. Teresa speaks excellent English and helped us with many logistics. They stock the unit with all types of wine and liquor for a very nominal cost to use. There are several other great things about the apartment which I will not take time to mention. Our vehicle would not start the morning after our arrival on a Sunday and Teresa and her husband tracked down a friend who was a mechanic and helped us get on our way. We had another situation which was unfortunate which I do not know how we would have gotten along except for the kindness and generosity of this family. Raffaele shared fresh tomato's from his garden which you can view below the terrace. We fell in love with these beautiful people. I cannot recommend enough this wonderful villa and the people who make you feel at home. Grazie!
