We rented the condo Kahana Reef #317 between July 13-19, 2022. The view from the balcony was spectacular, and we saw turtles there several times. The condo was very clean and well-equipped, and the owner, Diane, was very well-organized and nice to work with. While we were in Maui, they were having a historic southern swell, and most of the snorkeling beaches were too dangerous. But the condo was close to the best snorkeling beach on the island, Honolau Bay, on the northwest That beach was okay because it didn't face south or west. The snorkeling there is amazing! I don't see how it could get any better. We went there three times and saw tons of fish of many varieties, and since this bay is fairly shallow, they were quite close. We also took a snorkeling tour to Molokini Crater, which was awesome. We really enjoyed our time at the condo. It made an excellent base for our Maui vacation, convenient to restaurants and markets.

This condo had all the comforts of home we could possibly want. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom had all the amenities and comforts needed. It even had board games, beach accessories etc. The only thing that was missing was a water filter, so we bought a Brita filter and donated it to the condo for future guests to use. We could not get enough of the spectacular views, from the stormy skys, to clear views of islands nearby, to rainbows and starry nights.... most of all we were blessed to view the final weeks of the Humpback whale migration right off shore. Dianne was a wonderful host, very responsive and friendly. (We even had a beautiful flower arrangement on the table to welcome us.) We would not hesitate to come back and rent this unit again if we're back in Maui.

The condo was set up exactly as expected. Every morning we had our breakfast on the lanai while watching whales, dolphins, turtles and rainbows. The sunsets, and views of Molokai were breathtaking. Location was great, close to grocery stores, Whalers Village, and beaches The condo was great - clean and set up well. Very nice. Everything worked well. Had a great and relaxing vacation

We had the privilege of spending 8 wonderfully, relaxing nights in Dave and Di’s condo at Kahana Reef, to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. It is very clean, beautifully updated and stocked well with your daily needs, boogie boards, beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The owners were available and quick to respond to any questions, not only concerning the condo, but also to questions concerning must see and do locations. They are very accommodating. We saw more whales right off of the lanai than other people we visited with who booked whale tours- they even have binoculars available! We enjoyed the whales and turtles every morning and evening. Such beautiful sunsets from the lanai. The sounds of the waves lulling you to sleep every night was amazing. We already miss it and can’t wait to go back. We definitely recommend this condo and will definitely return to this same condo. All photos uploaded are either directly from the lanai or looking back at the property. Absolutely perfect for someone looking for rest, rejuvenation and relaxation 🌊 🌅 🐋 🐢❤️

We stayed at Di's beautiful condo from March 16-23, 2021. It was better than advertised. Imagine waking up for a cup of coffee on the lanai watching whales swim by you. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Kahana Reef 317, January 8th for five nights. The excellent location in West Maui was close to everything you need to comfortably relax with the ocean only steps away . The 3rd floor lanai was our favorite place to enjoy the view, the roar of the ocean, beautiful sunsets, star gazing, whale watching and two other islands in sight. The condo has an elevator for quick condo access and the complex was situated in a quite beach neighborhood. It was well equipped with everything you need to enjoy yourself immensely. Diane was a great hostess and was quick with any follow up questions. We highly recommend the condo and definitely hope to return soon.

I took my mom to Maui for a special Mother / Daughter get away and we couldn’t be more pleased with this incredible condo! The hospitality of the owners is in every detail, we had everything we needed! We canceled our restaurant reservations at night because we loved the coziness of the condo and wanted to spend all the time we could on the lanai - where we watched breathtaking sunrises and sunsets across the channel to Molokai all the while watching the incredible whales breach! I couldn’t imagine a more perfect weekend! We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for our Honeymoon and it was perfect. Excellent location. The Condo has lots of amenities, and is in great condition. We cannot wait to go back.

I stayed for 9 days in Kahana Reef recently, it was very nice. Extremely clean and well set up. The owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was a wonderful get away and I hope to stay there again. It’s the perfect spot on Weat Maui.

This spacious one bedroom condo is right on the water - the view is just stunning with ever-changing colors throughout the day. The large lanai makes for a wonderful, peaceful place to just sit and enjoy the beauty of nature. We loved the sunsets from the lanai. We had a better view than most oceanfront restaurants offer! Everything was just as pictured on the web. Meticulously clean and well maintained, it had everything we needed for a perfect stay on Maui's west side. It is a corner unit on the third floor (has elevators). Full, well-equipped kitchen and a SUPER comfy king size bed. I slept so well there. Pretty, newly-remodeled bathroom. Very private unit and complex, free parking and places to walk to close by. We had no trouble checking in or out, all went perfectly. I would highly recommend this condo. You will not be disappointed. As a sidebar - We had to stay one night at the Kaanapali Resort (prices triple) and it was such a disappointment and hassle compared to this unit. Why would anyone choose a hotel???
