We stayed at the Green Garden apartment in March for our last two days in Barbados. We particularly enjoyed its location in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the sea but not right on the ocean where the waves are very noisy. The Wi-Fi was very fast, the apartment was very clean and it felt very homely. The breeze and the ceiling fan kept the bedroom cool and there was no need for an A/C. Great place for surfers or people who are looking for a relaxing and quiet holiday away from it all. It is close to the airport, however you could hardly spot or hear any planes. Go to Miami/Enterprise Beach if you want to see them flying over your head! We walked there with our 5-year old son, carrying the obligatory boogie board which we found in the apartment. The local beach is lovely and deserted, however in March the waves are too strong for a small child to go swimming safely. We enjoyed a sundowner at the nearby Surfers’ Bar, great music and beastly cold beers!

Bellissima isola e bellissima location
Abbiamo alloggiato al Green Garden nel mese di luglio, il residence è molto pulito, ordinato, dotato di tutto il necessario e piacevolmente silenzioso, gli unici rumori sono quelli della natura. La posiione della struttura è ottima molto vicina al mare , facilmente raggiungibili Oistin e le diverse spiagge del sud dell'isola, nelle vicinanze anche un paio di ristoranti/bar raggiungibili a piedi.
I proprietari sono delle persone squisite, gentilissime e molto disponibili.
Assolutamente consigliata sia la struttura sia l' isola di Barbados, spiagge stupende, mare magnifico e clima ottimo.

Groceous holiday...!
We have been the last 2 weeks of our wonderful holiday in Green Garden Apartment, another wonderful apartment of Blue Ocean Cottage in Silver Sands. It is very cosy, fresh and with a wonderful patio with garden where we enjoyed our breakfast and lunch, with the birds and the constant breeze.The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with all tools, great decorations and a nice space. It is very clean and our hosts Elisabetta and Stefano were very very nice and helpful for everything we need. We will definitively be back next year!! See you soon Rosi and Nino

"Home away from home"
Stefano and Elisabetta were gracious hosts, a lovely couple, very accomodating and helpful. We felt at home in our apartment, which was situated very close to a beach and a nice beach pub. We would recommend this rental to anyone who wants to explore Barbados.

Mi esposa y yo nos alojamos, por diez dias en Octubre, Stefano nos ayudo a coordinar el transporte del aeropuerto. La ubicacion, muy Buena, a pocos metros de la playa,
perfecto para lo que estabamos buscando. Surfing - Stefano tiene una variada seleccion de surfboards para rentar, lo bueno de la ubicacion es la cercania a surf points, con la facilidad de ir a surfear bien temprano en la mañana , regresar al apartamento, preparar desayuno, y salir a explorar la isla. La parada del bus esta como a 6 minutos caminando, junto a un mini Mercado. De ahi salen buses para Bridgetown, aprox.30 minutos, y Oistins, aprox 8 minutos. De ahi consiguen buses para otras partes de la isla.
Regresar al apartamento e ir a surfear, antes de la noche :). Es recommendable rentar un auto. Nosotros no lo hicimos porque aqui se maneja del otro lado. y no tuvimos ningun problema moviendonos por la isla. en el reggae bus, y en taxi ya tarde en la noche.

If you are looking for a quiet, scenic, clean and good value place to stay in Barbados then this is for you! We stayed in the Green Garden apartment which is on the ground floor and therefore remains cool and benefits from the seabreeze. The patio is also a nice place to enjoy breakfast or some hammock time. Stefano the owner, who lives on site, took great care of us from arranging our airport transfers to helping us with car hire and advice on where to eat and sightsee. It is as described, 70 metres from the sea, where we saw turtles swimming in the surf on our first night. The number 11 reggae van leaves from the corner shop 5 minutes walk away. This takes you along the coast to Bridgetown vis Oistins and St Lawrence Gap. It's a very frequent service and at only 2 USD/4 Bajan Dollars it is a great means of transport-don't be intimidated by the loud music...it adds to the experience! Should you hire a car it is a great place to explore from as it is conveniently located to the main roads and Crane beach is only a short drive away. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Green Garden apartment and would love to go back someday.

"2 lovely weeks in paradise"
We chose this appartment because we did not want to end up in a prison of mass tourism but rather stay in a more domestic place. Our choice proved to be a fantastic one.
The appartment was simple but very well maintained and equipped with everything one needs. Even though we did not have a/C, it never got unpleasantly warm inside.
The surrounding area is pretty quiet, with an almost private beach, accessible in 3 minutes on foot. We liked the nearby Surfer's Bay beach bar with simple but good dishes and drinks and a fantastic coastal view. 2 mini markets are in foot distance but for bigger errands a car is recommended (it can be accomplished by bus as well). The way to the airport is a less than 15 minutes ride (but air traffic is not disturbing in the surrounding of the appartment).
Elisabetta and Stefano (and of course the lovely Maya) were wonderful hosts, allways helpful with information, recommendations or organizing things like airport transfer, boat trips or car rentals (BTW: rent a moke! So much fun!)
We would definitely come back to this place.

Terrific stay, can't wait to go back!
My (now) fiancee and I stayed in the green garden apartment in april and had an excellent time. There are beaches within a minute's walk with excellent waves for bodysurfing (or surfing proper, if you prefer). The apartment itself is perfect for a romantic getaway, particularly if you like a bit of adventure. The apartment is located on the southern end of Barbados, a ways away from the larger cities on the Caribbean coast, though you can easily get to Oistens or Bridgetown via hired car or 'reggae bus'. There is a built in kitchen with an oven and stove, and we cooked almost daily the entire time we were there. There is also a beach bar at the surfing school just up the beach that we wandered over to most evenings- nothing better than a nice cold drink and waves hitting the beach. Stefano and Elisabetta were excellent hosts, and quick to answer any questions we had or help us with anything we were missing. Wholeheartedly recommend, can't wait to go back.

Wonderful first trip to Barbados, and so happy we stayed at Green Garden!
We can't wait to come back- to lovely Barbados, and to Green Garden apartment. I had read that this was a good area to stay as a base for exploring around the island, and that proved to be true. The studio apartment itself was airy and comfortable, and had all the basics to spend a week, including cooking for ourselves. We were never too hot to sleep, despite no A/C...Great to be so close to the ocean, and to what was often our own private beach just a short walk away. We enjoyed the patio and hammock, and the outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Quiet, friendly and peaceful spot - I miss waking to the sounds of birds, waves and rustling trees in the garden. Don't miss nearby Miami (also called Enterprise) beach - it was a favourite. We rented a mini-moke which Stefano arranged in advance, and managed to adapt to the "left to live" driving without incident! We would stay here again. Being in Barbados is luxury enough- no need for luxury accommodations and prices!

Great experience
We spent a week in march at the lovely Green garden apartment and we had a very good experience. We went with our two children and they had the opportunity to enjoy the garden and the company of Maya in the morning. The apartment is super clean and Elisabetta and Stefano helped us with everithing like booking kite surf lessons, booking the airport trasfer, giving us indications for buses and shops.
We are definetly planning to go again next year if will be possible.
Also have to say thanks to Elisabetta and Stefano for being very patient with the kids sometimes a bit noisy in the very morning.
