My house is oceanfront in a residential area, with uncrowded, wide beaches. Wild horses roam free and are often seen on a daily basis.
Relax, Swim, windsurf, sail, water ski, jet ski, canoe, kayak, golf, miniature golf, ATV and lighthouse tours, shopping, restaurants, marinas, hang-gliding, see the wild horses, stroll on the beach, fish, watch the sunrise and sunset from the decks or the dune, sit in the hot tub, play horseshoes or croquet, or just sit on the beach and get a tan while building sandcastles. Visit Duck and Corolla villages, Whalehead Club, Alligator River Nature Refuge, Wright Brothers National Memorial, Audubon Nature Sanctuary, Nags Head and Kitty Hawk.
PLEASE NOTE: As one drives on the beach to get to the house, a 4WD vehicle is needed. It isn't hard driving on the beach, but a suitable vehicle is needed. Non-4WD vehicles can be parked just before entering the beach.
