Perfect Home Base for Traveling Southern Ireland
This was an ideal location and the cottage was perfect for us. We did not want to hotel hop. We elected to stay in one place that would allow us the freedom to cook breakfast and pack lunches and travel the southern half of Ireland from a home base. The village of Adare was ideal, small but not too small, with real charm, nice boutiques and enough restaurants to dine out every night. It was a five minute drive from the cottage. We devoted the first day to the village itself to have a light day after a long travel day. Then we traveled to Cliffs of Moher, the Dingle Peninsula, the Blarney Castle, and Limerick. We were there for seven days. And the cottage was just so nice. It was barefoot clean, cozy, and the amenities were all of good quality from the linens and towels to the cookware and cutlery. It was just two us so we had the luxury of each having our own bedroom and bathroom, although obviously it sleeps more than that. The cost was completely reasonable and allowed us to save on eating out for every meal. Our host was very nice, not at all intrusive. And the property was lovely. It was such a pleasure to come home to at the end of every day-trip. And the village provided wonderful night time activity. The Adare Manor Carriage House restaurant was fabulous for our one and only 5 star dining night out, but the other restaurants in the village were also excellent. Try Pat Collins and Aunty Lena's for dinner and for breakfast there is a sweet little cafe, Café Lógr. And there is Neville's Cross Inn just down the road from the Cottage on 519 that was excellent. We ate there twice. The Heritage Center also has a nice little cafe for breakfast or lunch. And a very nice Woolens shop for men and women is there at the Center as well. We left with beautiful sweaters and hats. There were several clothing boutiques, including one that carried Valentino and Von Furstenberg!!! Out of my league! But Adare and this cottage were absolutely ideal for us. Honestly, I can't believe how lucky we were to have found this cottage.

Not worth the hype
Very cool, a little touristy. We went to the Heritage center to get more info. They gave us the walking tour. The tour starts through a residential area and you are unsure your going the right way but you are. The path is very nice, the bridge was closed, and we then got to the main street walk. There was churches, houses and the cottages.

Enjoyable visit
This was our second stay. The comfortable cottage Is an excellent location for day trips in all directions. Bryan was a fine host, available for any reason. I would recommend this lodging to everyone.

Una casita encantadora
Hemos pasado unos bonitos días en familia. El pueblo de Adare enamora. La casa un encanto. Los anfitriones súper atentos, lis tienes al lado por cualquier necesidad, pero ni te enteras que están, respetan tu intimidad todo en todo momento. Volvería sin dudarlo.

A perfect holiday
A gorgeous cottage with plenty of room, nestled within a working farm. The cottage was perfect for our needs and had everything we required. Very quiet and peaceful but close to Adare Village and all that it offers. What a pretty town! We had the best holiday ever, just absolutely perfect and a big thank you to our great host Bryan. Couldn't get better.

Fabulous cottage.
We have just stayed here for 3 nights, there was 5 adults and we had plenty of room. Everything you could possibly need is here and much more. Cottage is in a great location easy access to motorways. Bryan was a fabulous host, very helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Everything We Needed and Hoped For
We dreamt of finding a place in the country, near a village, that would be a nice home base for our day trips, and give us that cozy hospitable feel. The Adare Farm Cottage could not have been more perfect had we designed it for ourselves. It is well equipped, close to the lovely village of Adare, but just far enough out of town to be peaceful. Bryan and his family were the perfect hosts, the dairy farm was the perfect setting, and Miller helped to make us feel right at home. Ireland was our dream trip and we are already hoping to return. I'm not sure if we are more excited to see more of Ireland or spend more time at the cottage. We found the accommodations exactly as the amenities described and the photos provided. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. Blessings to you and your family.

Warm and Cosy Cottage
Many thanks for a lovely stay in your warm and cosy cottage. The cottage was well equipped and clean. Very good value for money and also not to forget the very friendly dog. Overall an enjoyable short stay, highly recommended.

What a wonderful experience!!
We stayed at the cottage with another couple. The owner, Brian, was welcoming and so helpful. We were greeted by their family dog, Miller, who became a constant companion. What a sweetie! The cottage was charming! We built a fire in the fireplace every night and grilled outside for a couple meals. We had a washing machine and dryer which got constant use. Truly everything you needed was there. And Adare is wonderfully situated for day trips around western Ireland. The city of Adare itself is quaint and a great walking town. We highly recommend this rental.
