Lovely location near sea. House clean and tidy. Bedrooms good size. We had 4 there would be tight with 6 though. Kitchen only seats 4. Could do with new cooker and suite of furniture but nice place

Great location,5 min walk to beach. Beautiful scenery . Visited other beaches around the area absolutely stunning. Host Sean is a gentleman nothing is a bother to him. Weather was fantastic. Our grandchildren enjoyed it too .

Situated on the Loughros Headland which sticks out for a few miles from Ardara into the bay, it was very remote and quiet. Ardara itself is a charming little town with plenty of eating places, and Glenties, a few miles inland, is larger and has more amenities. Within easy travelling are the Strand (beach) with its caves, Slieve League, a mountain with cliffs that drop to the sea and many spectacular beaches (Narin is one of the best). The cottage itsefl is small but comfortable, with all the features one needs, including TV and wifi. The beds in particular were extremely comfortable. The owner, Sean, was very obliging and friendly and always available

Wir - eine kleine Familie mit Kindern im Alter von 4 und 1 - hatten eine super Woche in Seans Haus. Das Cottage ist einfach, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, einschließlich eines großen Gartens und einem fantatischen Blick über die Bucht. Die drei Schlafzimmer sind so im Haus verteilt, die Kinder auch dann ruhig schlafen können, wenn sich die Erwachsenen abends noch im Wohnzimmer oder der Küche aufhalten. Das Haus ist das letzte an der Straße, danach folgt nur noch eine Schotterstraße ans Ende der Halbinsel - bestens für Abendspaziergänge in den Sonnenuntergang. Nach Ardara, wo man alles für den täglichen Bedarf bekommt, fährt man knapp 10 Minuten, zum Badestrand auf der anderen Seite der Halbinsel ungefähr 2 Minuten. Sean, der Gastgeber, wohnt ein paar Häuser weiter und ist für alle Anliegen unkompliziert zu erreichen. Außerdem ist er ungkaublich nett und erklärt zum Haus (seinem Geburtshaus) und der Gegend alles, was man wissen muss. Ans Herz gelegt sei auf jeden Fall ein Ausflug zu Strand und Höhlen gegenüber (vom Haus aus zu sehen).

passed a lovely weekend in this cottage with kids and dog in tow. amazing location for us, short walk to beach, fabulous views. sean made our stay very welcoming and we would hope to be back at some stage.

Had a great New Years Eve at the cottage. Sean was lovely. Very warm welcome with wine and chocolates! Cottage is so cosy and the scenery is breathtaking. We love the area and would definitely stay here again. Hoping to come back in summer.
