I did the yoga teacher training 200h in Nov-Dec 22 and it was wonderful. Namit is a great teacher and very knowledgeable, I enjoyed all of the teachings. There was always laughter and space for questions and a welcoming feeling to all. We gained a lot of information about yoga in a very versatile way. There was a lot of emphasis on philosophy and this was my favourite part as well. The schedule can be intense (for 23 days) so be prepared for a challenge, but this way you are completely immersed in the joy of learning about everything, so it's definitely doable. The food was amazing the surrounding area is beautiful and the house we were staying at was very nice as well. After the training I feel confident to share this knowledge to others and am excited to do so. I think this is a great choice for yoga teacher training and an amazing place to learn about yourself, others, the world and yoga of course!

I have been to a retreat 2019 and to the teacher training 2022 at yoga sutra shala. They were both such wonderful experiences. Namit and his team are fantastic. I can highly recommend for everybody.

I did my 200hr YTT with Namit and i'm so glad I did it with him! It was wonderful. I loved his extensive knowledge and wisdom on Anatomy and Yogic Philosophy and also really enjoyed the fact that we were taught in a relatively small group. The food and all the things we learned about health were amazing as well!! I felt like it was a very holistic course. I loved how Namit was compassionate, open-minded, humble and how he really lives Yoga! The needs of the group were completely met and I enjoyed the classes a lot. It was quite a lot of information and an intense schedule, but it was also so much fun and mind blowing to learn all of this. I loved how Namit made it work and really conveyed Yoga so well. I also liked the fact that we practiced teaching throughout the whole course. Would really recommend booking here!

From my initial enquiry; when I was sure I had found the place for me; including all correspondence, throughout the whole retreat, the standard of excellence was always evident and very impressive. All due to Namit Kathoria, the organizer. In La Vall de Laguar, SE Spain it is a perfect tranquil setting for the boutique style hotel which is transformed into a sacred space by Namit and his small team. A welcome pack is provided with all the information about the retreat and associated aspects such as local organic farms providing the foods, complimentary practitioners, yoga, nutrition, local towns and walks. A wonderful library of books on yoga and philosophy and CD’s is available. Namit’s knowledge of yoga, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and philosophy is inspiring, solid and complete, and his teaching is unsurpassed. The two yoga sessions morning and evening were well paced and very instructive. All instruction was calm and extremely clear and encouraging. Afternoons were filled with walks and workshops; on Journalling, Asanas, Alignment and Nutrition. The periods of silence in morning and evening were a way of inviting total rest and relaxation and securing the learning process, giving time for reflection. This aspect, was the reason I was particularly interested in Yoga Sutra Shala. Bev the chef produces the most mouthwatering vegan organic plant based food imaginable, supported by two kitchen assistants, all of whom has a ready smile and calm disposition. Bev was always happy to explain the source of the food and method of preparation and tips on cooking. Food was plentiful and available 24hours. Accommodation is extremely comfortable with breathtaking views from the hotel. A very reliable and helpful taxi service is provided by James and his wife Tracy who ensure you get to and from the location on time. I have been left with a feeling of contentment, reflection and gladness of finding such a wonderful place to enjoy and expand my practice. I will be returning for sure! Thank you all. Highly highly recommend Yoga Sutra Shala retreat in Spain! It was amazing, affordable, and the teacher, Namit, is one of the kindest people I've ever met. I learned so much from him about yoga, meditation yoga, philosophy, and nutrition. We went on some beautiful walks. The accommodation was really comfy and nice and the vegan food was tasty.

The retreat completely exceeded my expectations. A perfect location with spectacular views. The yoga, meditation and breathing were soothing for the mind, body and soul and the food was delicious. Thank you Namit, Bev and Rocio for an amazing experience.

My week at this retreat was so peaceful, it was lovely to be surrounded by nature, learn about practising yoga and meditation, and meeting some kind friendly like-minded people. The Yoga Sutra Shala family is also so welcoming and knowledgeable, I recommend picking Namit's brain for facts about nutrition! Speaking of nutrition, the vegan food is delicious, and comes straight from farm to plate (local and organic). You can choose to hike, swim, or relax every day between the classes. I would recommend to anyone open to learning and connecting with themselves (note you should be open to a more spiritual approach for this retreat!) As a couple, we spent 5 days in this yoga retreat in February 2020. Yoga was new to us and we were very excited. We were warmly welcomed and the group (all super nice) was small enough to really understand everything as a beginner. We ate very well vegan, received 2 yoga classes every day and all teachers were great. We also meditated a lot: you can learn that too ;-) We will continue with yoga. Unfortunately, these 5 days passed far too quickly! We can really recommend this retreat: 5 STARS !! Beate and Hanno

A beautiful tranquil place with stunning views where one could enjoy the peaceful meditation garden or gaze at the mountains and surrounding countryside. Freshly picked oranges from the many orchards of Valencia and delicious and irresistible vegan dishes [even for a non-vegan!] Wonderful restoring meditation and some beautiful chanting. Excellent teaching of yoga with caring thoughtful individual attention. The warmest of welcomes on arrival from the lovely Malwina who was always available when needed. Namit and his team gave us an inspiring week.

It s a wonderful place, beautiful poeple especially Anna the amazing yoga teacher, I never met such a kind and proffesional instructer, thank you Anna I will always cherish you in my hart! Loved the place, the massage, the musuc, Namet s voice is heavenly and he is great with the meditations wich were super relaxing! David brings lots of light to the retreat, love his energy, the rest of the crew is very tender and there are good vibes, defenetly will cone back and recommand everybody to come and relax for a few days.
