We had such a great time at the cottage! It was perfect for our family, two little ones and our dog. Tim was super accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. The photos do not do the cottage justice. It was beautiful, spacious, and comfy.
The kitchen was well stocked - including kid cutlery and dishes and dog bowls :)
The shower had great water pressure and was a good temp, which, oddly can be hard to find sometimes.
The towels left were soft and plentiful :)
I don't even know how to start on the garden! It was huge, fenced-in, and gorgeous. The pool was fantastic, although it was a little chilly, my 5-year-old didn't mind. The pool was stocked with toys, and floatation devices for the little ones as well.
The trampoline was a hit, we spent more time on it than I ever would have thought, and the swing and little slide were perfect.
The location is great! within 30-45 minutes of so many things
We would definitely love to stay again and we'd recommend it to friends visiting the area.

Perfect week
We have just returned from this lovely cottage. We had a great week. The cottage was perfect with everything we needed for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. The pool was the icing on the cake - we used it every day!
The owners were very helpful - great communication and we would highly recommend 😊

Return Visit
Recently returned from another wonderful stay here. It was our second visit and lucky enough for it to be over the Mother’s Day period.
Absolutely stunning place, beautiful inside and out. The owners are extremely accommodating making our stay all that more private and enjoyable.
Highlights include the stunning grounds and traditional rope swing (our 3 year old could get enough of it), beautiful open fireplace (stocked with everything you need) and modern creatures comforts like underfloor hearing and Netflix.
Also offers fantastic views from the garden of Eastwell Manor. The Flying Horse pub across the village green is a must and much improved now under new management.
Can’t recommend this cottage enough!

The perfect weekend!
Myself and 5 ladies stayed at this beautiful cottage at the beginning of April.
As soon as we found the listing and saw the photos, we knew it was perfect for us!
From the moment we booked, Tim and Maite were helpful and friendly and gave us all of the information we needed!
Eastwell Manor really is so close and it was lovely to make use of it/the grounds on the Saturday.
We had a chef come to cook for us and the open planned living/dining room had so much space and was perfect for our dinner party.
The grounds/garden surrounding the cottage truly are beautiful and are huge - Had we been lucky enough to have sun I am sure we would have spent many an hour enjoying the surrounding (particularly the beautiful pool area!!).
I would say this was the perfect summer holiday home with children - and all of us ladies hope we can make a weekend of it to stay here again!

Lovely stay
Had a lovely girly weekend here. The cottage is beautiful and really spacious.
Beds are really comfy and Eastwell Manor being so close is such a nice bonus! Communication between the owner and ourselves was really informative and friendly. Wish we had better weather so we could enjoy the lovely garden and pool. Would definitely stay again. Nice to see the owners love sheep as much as I do :)

Lovely cottage in quiet and restful setting
We loved staying at the Plantagenet Cottage. We were travelling as a family with two teenage children and the house and facilities were perfect for us. The three bedrooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The house itself was fantastic, a great blend of character with modern facilities. Lovely big garden and the swimming pool was great for my daughter who loves the water. The communication from the hosts was fantastic and we really enjoyed our week at Plantagenet. Would definitely stay here again if we get the chance. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage
We stayed in Plantagenet cottage and had a wonderful time.
The cottage has been very nicely modernised and comfortably accommodated three couples.
It also has a beautiful garden with a pool and plenty of sports equipment to have fun if you are lucky enough to have good weather.
We also really enjoyed the local walks and restaurants.
Overall, a really enjoyable trip.

Fantastic stay
Amazing cottage, perfect for our family getaway! Great location with access to stunning Kent towns and seaside. Beautiful garden that backs onto Champneys at Eastwell Manor, which is great for a SPA day. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommended!

A unique and special stay.
We stayed at Plantagenet cottage for three nights to mark our daughters 18th. The house is amazing, obviously well loved. On a practical level the house was clean, well presented and welcoming. Lovely sheets and towels and welcome basket and all kitchen essentials etc to make for a very comfortable stay. The pool was warm and clean and the gardens lovely for both the children and dog! Outdoor seating and BBQ were also great.
But those aspects are not what makes a stay here special. The house has a real sense of history and occasion about it, it is a unique home in lovely grounds. You feel very much tucked away and private, despite not being far from the village. It felt like a very special couple of days.
There are great walks from the door and the teenagers found the outlet shopping centre 10mins drive away, so something for everyone! Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Idyllic, perfect stay for our wedding weekend
We booked Plantagenet cottage for our wedding weekend, with our family traveling to stay for the weekend. It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, with lots of space, and wonderful amenities. There was also a lovely welcome basket, which was very sweet and appreciated, with fresh milk etc in the fridge, and freshly made apple juice from apples in the garden!
The bedrooms were all lovely, each with comfortable beds, high quality bedding, towels and also extra towels for the pool. The garden and pool are wonderful, lots of nooks and cosy corners with a table for Al fresco drinks, relaxing or eating, along with a BBQ. The pool has lots of toys, and great that it is heated!
The house location is in a nice quiet village, with a great pub just across the green for food and a light beverage. Very pretty. We stayed in the summer, but imagine the house is wonderful with the large wood fireplace in full swing and cosy in the winter.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Plantagenet cottage, which made our weekend just perfect. We would definitely recommend a stay, and look forward to our return!
