Hacienda Antigua is an absolute magical place. Then layout of the house, the furnishings the breakfasts, the sunsets were all amazing. The owner was easy to work with and very quick with responses to any questions we had.
We had our wedding at then Hacienda and our guests were blown away. It is a PERFECT venue for a sunset wedding. We were also able to rent out the 2 other completed villas in Rancho Escondido so some of our friends and family were able to be close by.
There were a few things here and there with the the villa (one of the rooms leaked when it rained and the tarp on the up stairs master balcony trying to stop the leak) but that’s was a minimal problem that happens to houses.
I would recommend the hacienda to anyone looking to getting away and relaxing. We didn’t want to leave.
*be careful driving up the hill to Ranch Escondido in the rain. We may or may not have skid backwards on the wet stone and had to walk hone in the rain one night and have the maintenance guys help push us out of the drain ditch in the morning....

Unique, One-of-a-Kind Hacienda/Wedding Venue!
My husband and I recently stayed at Hacienda Antiqua for a week. Not only was it where we were vacationing, but we also got married here. The wedding/trip was a year in the making and Kelley was there holding our hand through the entire process, the entire time. Kelley and her staff did not let us down on when recommending vendors for our wedding, excursions for our families or chefs for special dinners along the way. We couldn't have asked for a more hospitable team!
The hacienda was spectacular. Every time I took a second to look around, I saw something new and interesting. I just wish I had someone there to tell me all the stories of all the different architectural pieces and the decor. You can just tell it all has a long history. The pool is a great size for a large group...you never felt like you were on top of each other.
As a wedding venue, Hacienda Antigua was magical. The wedding planner did an amazing job creating an atmosphere that blew me away. Everyone said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too. We had 60ish guests, which was perfect for all the outdoor space this place offers. Seriously, if you are looking for a unique place for your wedding, this IS IT!
We will definitely come back if they will have us!

Life at its fullest. Don’t wait!
I had the vacation of a lifetime at Hacienda Antigua. Looking to book next year for any reason with either my same group of reunion friends or another assembly. What an amazing property..,wouldn’t be surprised if we see The Bachelor filmed there someday!

The best house we rented ever! Period!
We were 4 families with kids and rented this 2nd week of December 2017 to celebrate a big birthday.
The house is as gorgeous as the pictures if not more. We arrived to Dora and Norma cooking a great dinner! Gabriel had already purchased groceries for us including beer and alcohol so we were ready to settle down to a party!
The house has 5 different Master Suites including private bathrooms. There is an additional half bath next to the pool which was always clean thanks to the household help.
The best part of the house rental was the free breakfast and cleaning that came along with it. Not just any breakfast but Dora, the cook is phenomenal. I have not eaten such good Mexican food in any restaurants in the San Francisco bay area. We woke up to great breakfast and a clean kitchen.
The weather was great but watch out for mosquitoes. They come in at Dusk always and will get you. Need lots of insect repellent.
I will come back to this house again and again and again!

One of the best weeks of my life!! Hacienda Antigua is a magical paradise!
I wanted to do something big and amazing to celebrate my 40th birthday and staying a week at the Hacienda Antigua was the best way I could ever imagine celebrating! Everything was perfect.... The booking process was seamless. Kelley was extremely helpful with the planning process and was quick to answer all my questions. We hired Arcelia to be our private chef for the week and she was amazing. The food was so fresh and healthy and very reasonable. Some of the best food I have ever had, it was delicious! For my birthday dinner we hired Roberto and that was incredible as well. (both of these chefs were recommendations from Kelley) As for the Hacienda itself...I don't think I can put into words how incredible this house is. I felt like I was in a museum....every day we would marvel at the details in this amazing place. The pictures truly don't do it justice. I had very high expectations of the hacienda and I was completely blown away. The Hacienda is about 20 minutes or so from the town of Sayulita and about 5 minutes from an amazing beach we called 'private beach' because nobody was ever there when we were there and it was absolutely stunning. The house is nestled in what felt like a rain forest with ocean views, the views were spectacular. I had 11 guests stay at the hacienda to celebrate my bday and we all had the best time and are already planning when we can go back. If you are thinking of visiting this part of Mexico which I highly recommend you HAVE to stay at the Hacienda Antigua. It is the most magical place I have ever stayed and I travel a lot.

Perfect gem of a getaway.
We were so impressed by the stay. If you want to experience a true gem of Mexico this is the place. The arrival started with a fantastic welcome dinner and margaritas followed by great service, beautiful sunsets, and relaxation and fun. The many master suites were amazing with each suite have it's own special touch. It was a great venue for our large party with other homes available in the gated ranch available for the rent.

I want to go back there as soon as possible
From the moment we walked through the front door this place exceeded our expectations. We had seen all the photos, but this is one of the few times when the real thing is even more beautiful. I was traveling with my wife, our two boys (8 and 3) and some extended family. There was something to please everyone. We alternated days of relaxing by the pool (our boys basically "lived" in the pool while we were there) with some of the various activities offered by the Hacienda. We took trips to some of the various local beaches (my favorite was actually just down the hill at Lo de Marcos, the closest). Horseback riding, paddle boards, we visited Sayulita (about 20 minutes away. Glad after visiting that we were not staying there in town, because it was a total tourist zoo). We ate out in Sayulita as well, but the best meals we had (by far) were back at the Hacienda. They have a list of "guest cooks" who can come fix you dinners and they were all excellent. All in all it was a great vacation... a true vacation, where you don't feel exhausted after you get back home. Can't wait to go back!

The Wedding and Week of our Dreams
Kelley, and her incredible Hacienda, are something out of a dream. By far the most elegant, stylish, comfortable and incredible place any of our wedding guests had ever stayed. The staff were exceptional - the food each day was amazing, the decor, the location up on the private hill - truly this place is a hidden gem and one my husband and I will return to year after year. Gabriel, the property manager, was so accommodating and what I loved about this team was nothing was impossible - we decided to change our wedding venue to this hacienda the day before and of course, nothing was too much, nothing was impossible and Kelley let us with no issue whatsoever. They really are incredible and I cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

Peaceful and relaxing adventure in Puerto Vallarta.
I am 18 years old. My family and friends took this vacation as a graduation trip.The location is private and close to a beach. There are plenty of activities to do in the area. I had a very good time and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in the Puerto Vallarta area.

We were looking for a vacation rental that had "the necessities" all on one level as we were traveling with older family members. The photos of Hacienda Antigua are a very good representation of the property and Kelley provided very helpful additional details. The house and the decor are amazing! The property is very spacious and truly unique. Each suite is well appointed and provides comfortable and private accommodation. The furniture is very comfortable and there are a variety of sitting areas throughout the property, inside and out, where you can either gather as a group or get away from it all. The industrial sized kitchen is amazing and very well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals or snacks. A full breakfast was provided by Dora every day, except Sunday. There was plenty of food including fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee, all of which was excellent! The home is, as others have described it, off the beaten path but it offers a peacefulness unmatched by any hotel, condo, or vacation rental "in town". The grounds are beautifully maintained, as is the wonderful pool, which causes you to feel that making the trip to the beach is an obligation much more than a necessity. The beach in Lo de Marcos is beautiful and should not be missed but it's hard to tear yourself away from Hacienda Antigua. We found Gabriel, the concierge to be pleasant, quick to respond to any problems, and very helpful with booking all of our activities. All the staff were very efficient and we never felt that we were in their way or they in ours. Kelley was great to deal with and definitely added to the enjoyment of the vacation rental. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Be sure to check out the sunset each night - Spectacular!
