Paz en un Rincon del Paraiso llamado Villa Mo
Encantados con la propiedad, super comoda, segura, limpia... con playa privada es todo un paraiso mas aun con las atenciones de Doña Monica y de Yanni que hace unos platos riquisimos. Fuimos y quedamos planeando el regreso. A todo el que quiera ir a las Terrenas a disfrutar en un ambiente seguro y con atenciones de primera, les recomiendo Villa Mo

Me encanto hospedarme en villa mo es una casa grande cuartos grandes comoda te sientes en casa aparte de que hay una cocinera y la casa es perfecta a unos metros de la playa puedes ir caminando hay estacionamiento grande varias salas comunes en mi opinion mi favorita la sala al aire libre y la piscina muy limpia siempre patio grande espacio en los cajones en la cocina pero bueno el lugar es perfecto uno se siente como en casa, si tienen un cumpleaños o algo asi quedense ahi en villa mo aparte la dueña es muy linda.

Paradisiaca!!!
Una casa llena de encanto en la misma playa!! Estancias amplias y relajares, vistas espectaculares! No le falta nada a la casa! Súper cómoda!!! Viajamos 4 adultos y 3 niños, y fue de ensueño para todos.

Beautiful house and beach
Clean and beautiful house and furnishings, comfortable beds, just a few steps from one the best beaches we've ever seen - virtually empty and you can walk for miles, with good snorkeling. Perhaps best of all is the generous support and interest of the owner, Monica and her husband Cuqui who did everything they could to make our stay very special. Monica answered our many questions and worked with us to resolve dietary issues. Yani's meals are so delicious, all the raves of other reviewers are justified - she is very sweet and eager to please. There is some construction nearby but that should be finished before too long (we stayed March 2019), otherwise a wonderful place to stay. If you fly into Santo Domingo airport, and plan to take a taxi, we suggest you ask Monica to arrange it since the local drivers know the quickest way to go. It’s fun to go to the fish market with Yani (you cannot buy fresher fish!), and there is a very good French bakery in Las Terrenas. All four of us really enjoyed our great stay at Villa Mo.

100% Recommended!
We visited Villa Mo for my birthday, we were a group of 10 people. The house was extremely clean and organized upon our arrival, and it remained that way all weekend thanks to Jannie, who also helped us with the preparation of our meals. Monica was an excellent host, always available to answer any questions or provide anything we needed (like water, ice, or even coal for the barbecue). The house is located right on the beach, it is a very secure and peaceful place. I highly recommend Villa Mo, hopefully we'll be returning!

Encantadora
Estuvimos en Villa Mo desde el sábado hasta el lunes. Disfrutamos de la preciosa villa, su entorno inmediato(piscina, patio, playa a muy corta distancia a pie) con mucho placer. Fue totalmente desestresante, el tiempo que pasamos fue excelente. Las atenciones de doña Mónica, su esposo y su personal, inmejorables. La comida, deliciosa con sabores autóctonos y hasta el pan de coco artesanal que llevó un señor todavía caliente fue disfrutado plenamente por todos, adultos y niños. Inmejorable estadía en esa zona preciosa.

The best house to stay in Portillo!
This is the perfect location for a family vacation, or a little getaway with your friends. It has everything: excellent service from the host and the staff (they cook two meals and keep the kitchen and the house clean at all times); a pool to just chill at the end of the day, great rooms with comfortable beds, and last but not least the beach! Oh the beach, is the most beautiful, blue and clean beach you can ask for, excellent for kids or just to cool down with a nice drink; you feel like a celebrity in your own private beach because is never crowded. The house has different areas to unwind and relax: a beautiful terrace with all-around view of the property and the beach, a terrace upstairs to catch some ocean breeze, an indoor and outdoor dinning tables, a comfortable living room, a kitchen for your own use and another kitchen for the staff to cook anything that you would like. is like your dream beach house. This Villa is exactly what you are looking for when you go to DR.

Very comfortable house, close to a great beach
The location is amazing, very close to the beach. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and all commodities. The house has all the amenities including a person in charge of cleaning and cooking. Very nice experience, we'll visit again!

Great place for family vacation
This is a great house located in a very exclusive and safe area. It is very well equipped. All we needed to bring was our clothes and food. The house is very spacious and well ventilated. So much that you may not even need to turn the AC at night. There are grocery stores and restaurants 10 minute drive from the house. However, Yani, the wonderful cook at the house will make you the most delicious Dominican meals. I will definitely go back to stay there soon.

Legitimate Paradise...
To keep it short and sweet, the house, location, and amenities were everything that we imagined and more. Having traveled to Las Terrenas before, I already had a small grasp of the area, but Monica, her husband, the security, and house-keeping & cook Yani made our stay very pleasurable. Picture this. You wake up, to your coffee made just how you like it waiting for you (thanks to Yani.) After pouring yourself a cup, you decide to take a walk to the beach & quick dip in crystal-clear ocean, since you're about 100m away. By the time you arrive back, your favorite breakfast is made and ready on the outdoor deck, overlooking your personal pool and ocean. After breakfast, you go into town, whale-watching, maybe workout, and by the time you're done for the day, you get to go to sleep to the sound of the waves, and air-conditioning in your room. It was an amazing experience, and I wouldn't have traded it for the world. Highly recommend this house, as having Monica's local expertise & guidance, combined with the untouched beauty and true Dominican culture is something we'll never forget. Even Monica's awesome puppies made the experience more enjoyable! If I HAD to pick one thing that wasn't bad, just to know, is that Monica and her husband live upstairs on a separate side of the house. You can have as little to as much interaction with them as you want. I honestly wanted more interaction, as they were very nice, but they respected our privacy. Thanks to them and Yani for an incredible stay!
